  1. Haha Can this game get any weirder? What's next after Carlton Cole scores a goal? Lukaku to score a pen??!
  2. I actually think Chelsea fans have dealt with this better than expected. In Petr's first match for us, the fans were calling Carlo's name! In that sense, Thibaut is lucky.
  3. Midfielder, but really you can't say more specifically than that.He likes to play with total freedom and he is granted that at Juve. He's played deep in central midfield, box-to-box and as an attacking midfield. Under Allegri he's mostly played at left midfield. But to go back to your question, no, he's not by any means a typical creative number 10. When he has played in that area, he does a role similar to what Yaya used to for City when played in an advanced role under Mancini.
  4. Yeah I understand it can be hard for people who are used to Roman/Latin or Greek letters to decipher Arabic because letters are connected together and their shape changes according to where they are written in a word and the structure of the whole sentence. Funny fact, the Roman letters that you use (or what became the Greek and later Roman letters) were actually invented in Phoenician Byblos in pre-Arab Lebanon.
  5. Haha Lal-zal-'oum There is a letter before the "oum" but there is no corresponding sound for it in English Why do you even want to know?
  6. No, because we don't look like we're really going to sign anyone this month, so people and media are having to make stuff up.....more than usual.
  7. I like the one with red more (never thought I'd ever say that!). The badge on the other one looks out of place like the badge on some cheap knock off.
  8. I didn't see the Tottenham match (and I never plan on doing so) and yeah he was poor in the first half against Newcastle along with the rest of the team. I'm probably forgetting some other game or half where he was poor this season, but that kind of ratio of bad over 30 matches is up there with even our best performers of the season like Eden and Cesc. A lot of people would say Matic or Costa have been our best players this season, but both have had more than a few bad matches this season which is more than Terry. I don't think that 2-3 bad matches from 30 is indicative of being too old or of any lack of ability. It's pretty normal for any footballer.
  9. Name them. Can you name 4-5 bad games out of the 30 or something matches he's played this season? If not, then you can't really say that JT "has had his bad games".
  10. Sadly turned more about publicity for the magazine than rights with them vowing to print a million copy this week instead of the usual 20 odd thousand...for our sake!
  11. Ugh! Petr beaten at his near post, JT's slip, Mata miss in the first half and then at 3-3, Van P**sy smug face Thanks for bringing those memories back!
  12. Think he needs to work quite a lot on his technique and consistency to be up there with the world class keepers. But football fans memory only stretches back to 2-3 matches ago.
  13. LOL No one passed Turan the memo that this is all about voting for friends and teammates!
  14. I laugh every time someone mentions De Gea in the same breath as Neuer, Courtois, Cech and Buffon.
  15. Not in the world XI! I'm f***ing fuming!
  16. Ha! Inevitable. Bet the NATO are already discussing over what oil rich country they will be using this to justify invading very soon. I'm putting money on Yemen
  17. I think that is what it was meant to be or at least what most that participated wanted to say, but unfortunately that is not the message that came out or what the "political momentum" of the march will be used for.
  18. An update on this: AFP just said that the attacks have risen to over 50 on Muslims in France since the Charlie Hebdo crime. Bet you didn't hear THAT on Fox News!
  19. Yes! The truth is in a YouTube video! Never mind the 70 year old struggle, and the events that has stretched over more than 100 years and that cannot even be summarized in a 100 book. Ignore all the moral, cultural and religious debates. Ignore geography and history. Forget about the hundreds of millions of people around the world who feel strongly about this issue. The truth is in THAT YouTube video!!!  I have no idea why either side would try to get weapons or media influence or any of that. They should just each create YouTube channel and battle for who gets more likes!
  20. First of all you said Iran is funding the Qatari backed Hamas in Gaza. That is the single most stupidest thing you could have said about the politics in the region at the moment. I simply cannot continue to discuss with you after you make (and with great confidence, I might add! ) such a statement that shows you know absolutely nothing about the region. But let's assume you did not say that, then you mention the "greater Islamic movements" referring I assume to Al Qaeda and ISIS. Those are firm allies of the Israeli occupation army who has provided hospitals for them in Joulan and taken many fighters back to the occupied territories for medical aid and military training and even provided air support for them on several occasions. Natanyahu has publicly called them "our enemies enemies" and in return Al Nusra (Al Qaeda branch in Syria) has said that they are willing to give the IOF the Joulan area and other for their support). Then you say that people in the west have "a more individualist value set" while declaring an open air prison with 1.8 million civilians "a war zone"! Some values you westerners have! Let me remind you, Mr. Canadian, that the people of Palestine with the "inferior values", did not exterminate millions of indigenous Indians in their country, neither did they build that country on slavery. Then you label all of the Palestinian resistance as Islamic totalitarianism ignoring almost 70 years of history and ignoring the fact that it was Israel itself and the US that has all but destroyed secular Arabic nationalism in favor radical Islam, the constant ally of the US in the middle east in the past century, and that it was Israel itself that gave rise to Hamas to weaken the PLO in the 80s. Finally, you are disregarding the tens of other resistance factions that are still in Gaza and that fight against every assault, most of which are secular, but do not have the power of Hamas because they don't have the Qatari support. So yes, do humanity a favor, and stop listening to Fox Sport and it would also be nice if you read up on a subject if you want to discuss it with someone and I mean actually read books and opinions from both sides as well as from neutrals, not watch stupid youtube videos and claim you suddenly know what is happening in the world! Charters are fun to throw around (like the Israeli Lykode party whose charter is "the west of the Jordan valley is ours, and the east of ours too). They distract very well from what's actually happening.
  21. Well, you would have fooled me. Your "arguments" are straight out of their regular "news analysis". You could comfortably work in their news room.
  22. What the hell am I supposed to answer to statements that are wrong on so many levels and have absolutely nothing to do with reality like that? It's like arguing with someone seriously telling me that the LOTR stories actually happened! It's like video of the fox "expert" above. How the hell do you argue with someone that stupid and deluded?!
