  1. Pretty much spot on. I hope Ruben truly understands that.
  2. Yeah, you're right, it was 11 million Euros without the addons.
  3. I'll just leave this here: Juve's current central midfield options of Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Marchisio and Khedira cost a total of 8 million Euros...THAT's what I call bloody good business!
  4. Not a fan of that most controversial award either, but went with @lionsden, just to piss Term off @LDN Blue, and @Special Juan for the other two. PS: Thanks for the nominations, they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside
  5. Sorry @supporter, you're a brilliant contributor and already one of the best members around here, but I had to go with Daffy because we have plans together to take down the global power and economic system and install a new world order Very hard one for best football knowledge but went with @Peace. for sheer quality despite lack of activity. On a side note, I think @hjperdeath, deserves to be on that list as well. Finally, @Muzchap for best general knowledge, mostly because @ is an idiot and I'm not going to be that c*nt who votes for himself Kidding, of course, I love reading and debating your non-Chelsea related posts.
  6. @Viper22, @DYC., and @Muzchap, for me who were all brilliant in their own way this year, and @Jason just because I feel sorry for him
  7. I look well out of place on that "Most Liked Member" category next to the likes of Barbara and WHS! Cheers for the undeserved mentions Went with the tentsletje @Stingray, my @Barbara, and @Fulham Broadway,
  8. No, we're saying (at least I am) that the motives behind the sudden clamping down on FIFA corruption even though it has been known for decades are far from benevolent and that it is naive to expect everything to become good just like that, especially when the people currently claiming to be fighting corruption are themselves very corrupt. Whether or not Blatter leaving is a good thing depends entirely on who is his successor and in which way FIFA proceeds after him.
  9. You do realize there is no "un" before funniest, right?!
  10. You think we won't make top 4? In what scenario would we not make top 4? I think even in unrealistic scenarios such as lose Hazard and not sign any replacement and still make top 4 comfortably.
  11. Ings is such a textbook Liverpool signing! Honestly, unless there are some major surprises in the market, I think that next season's top four are already settled.
  12. Can't remember who said this, maybe Frankie Boyle, but it's probably the best thing I've heard about the meltdown: "Bankers getting bonuses after the financial meltdown is like Bin Laden getting air-miles for 9/11!" The lot of wall street and the CEOs of the big banks, Barclay's included, have caused more suffering than most criminals and tyrants in the world. They should all be in jail. Simple as that.
  13. The deflected shot from inside the box in the first half I don't expect him or any other keeper to save. That was incredible. He also made an excellent save down to his left IIRC. But yes he could have pushed the second goal further away but it was a very difficult shot to handle and Evra should have reacted faster.
  14. Pogba made a lot of mistakes in not tracking runners and apart from the part when Juve were on top he offered next to nothing on the ball. He had an average game, but I can't see how anyone can say he played better than Barzagli who was flawless and Morata who was Juve's only goal threat for the majority of the match or Buffon who single-handedly kept them in it for much of the first half.
  15. Let me stop you right there... Barzagli, Marchsio and Morata were very clearly Juve's standout players yesterday. Then you could argue that the likes of Leichteiner (no I won't bother actually spelling it right!) and Buffon had much better performances than Pogba. Even Pirlo was A LOT more influential when Juve were on top. Not sure what match you were watching...
  16. The donation was actually just a cover up for the shipment of scud missiles I received last night from him
  17. Tbh, @Muzchap should win member of the year based on yesterday's donation alone!
  18. His attitude has always been top notch. He's an incredible professional and humble about it too.
  19. Not in the same sense as I am a Chelsea fan. I'm more of a Juve supporter than a fully passionate fan.
  20. I realize that Juve have about a 5% chance to win, but I'm still sooo nervous about tonight...
  21. So now we're saying that the bad signing that we should not have made last season must stay because of the terrible signing we are going to make this season?! He's a decent player, capable of being excellent in the right team/league, but it's probably best for both him and the club if he leaves.
