If Sunderland are not yet safe, play the best possible lineup, if they are, RLC and possibly Christensen to start. Plus, Jose has already that he wants to play the players that have played the most this season in the final game to allow the fans to give them the recognition for helping winning us the league.

No violent conduct?! SAF would disagree...

All joking aside, I think he might have been trying to hit the above everyone's head and out of the field but under hit it. That is the only logical possible explanation I see as to why he would decide to kick the ball in that direction.

130 mins and still no screamers? Off with his head to Vitesse! Seriously, people need to calm the fuck down. He had a very good game, made no mistakes, got all the basics right, movement and covering were good, and to me looked more comfortable in the system than against pool. I really like his composure and calmness, not trying too hard or being too eager to impress which is incredibly tempting for a young player coming into the team. The 'flashiness' can come latter. He needs to first establish himself as a reliable option for the manager and that can only be done by constantly getting the basics right. We had 10 players on the field, and you expect the only teenager among them to be the one taking the risks? Sorry, that make little sense.

If I were him, I would definitely take the chance to join united. Can't blame him if he does. We are the ones forcing him out when he's still one of the best in the world.

What's so hard to understand? Have you never called in fake-sick for school on the last day? The lad just wanted the last week off

He means having dived the correct way and the right height, he should have had a stronger hand on it to keep it out since he did reach it and it was fairly comfortable for him.

Forum Awards 2014 - Discussion Thread
CHOULO19 replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Announcements & Support
Sure, I guess we could have a "Least Worst Scot" award this year... -
LOL Who voted Cesc MOTM?! Admittedly though, that was the best red card I've ever seen!
-
That was a factor, but a bigger factor was the fact that Costa was the closest thing we had to a pure winger and actual width so we had to play through the incredible congested center which was significantly even harder with the numerical disadvantage. Still had a few decent chances with Remy and Matic, and I felt we would have certainly scored had Eden been up for it.
-
Thought that honor without a doubt belonged to Luis despite Cahill's poor game.
-
Actually clicked on the thread to add the fans to the MOTM poll but Jason had already done it. Absolutely brilliant. Jose at the end was absolute class as well. To borrow from our American friends, "could care less" about the scoreline Very solid match from Ruben and happy for Izzy's debut. That's one more post/pre-season match out of the way. Roll on Sunderland.

LOL That was fun!

See this:

I'm usually very conscious about hyping youth players, but I think that RLC in particular has everything he needs to be a start and a key player for us in the future. If things go his way, I can see him becoming one of the best midfielders in the league.
-
Did any of you see Canavaro's tribute to Gerrard? Honestly made my day!
-
PS: Remember when Jose's decision not sign Bony was supposed to cost us the title?

Chelsea and Marseille in possible partnership
CHOULO19 replied to BlueLyon's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
What's the point of setting up a loan partnership with them if we are going to rob them of their best players and render them unable to compete for Cl places?! -
Calm down, there's absolutely no need for this.
-
I have just one thing to say: PS: You realize that we don't hate Gerrard the person, right? No one here actually knows him personally. We hate Gerrard the football player. There is a clear distinction. This is part of the game and fans culture. The mere fact that he's the long-time captain of our rivals should be enough to hate his guts, the annoying media love and how he happily plays the role just take it to the next level. It's football, not the gymnastic Olympics!
-
The hatred for Gerrard stems from the incredibly annoying and completely unwarranted way over the top media wankfest over him. We, or at least I, hate him because all the biased liverpool loving media and journos are trying to shove him down our throats as some footballing god when in reality he's no more than a good footballer who's achieved relatively little in his career. When the media treats him rationally, people will have rational feelings about him. At the moment, my feelings are: "I hate the cunt and he can't fuck off to the US quick enough so I don't have to see his ugly face or name every time I turn my head."

Reminds me of when Tottenham "won the arch"!
-
I think Andre and co. will probably join the team in the dressing room celebrations and party afterwards but I really doubt they would be allowed on the pitch at FT. It would be disrespectful for their current teams.
-
Yup, pretty simple. Try to keep up, Jai...

Before we get excited, though, does anyone know about the restrictions on loaned players from the same team in Ligue 1?
