  1. Look the loan was absolutely mandatory. People are getting upset for the wrong reasons. The issue is with Mourinho Emenalo or whomever is making the transfer/personnel decisions who couldn't come up with a better answer than an old Eto, wasteful Torres, and a languishing Ba. As for Lukaku, no one is ever going to confuse his first touch with Messi or Hazard, he's always going to be a bit rough with his touches, but as he gets older he should smooth out aspects of his game and through experience how most effectively use his energy, position himself, and make better decisions. That's the whole point of the loan and the whole reason why I wanted him to go on loan in the first place. He's still a work in progress.Yes he could help Chelsea this year, but at a risk of stunting his own development. Lukaku is a goal scorer. He's never going to be a slick player, but he's the type of player who will terrorize defense with his pace, will, and strength. I'm sure Lukaku will probably score 20-25 PL goals this year. I had him down for 10-15 last year and he got 17 with 20 PL starts 14 sub appearances at age 19. The problem is that Chelsea hasn't addressed the striker issue by getting someone who is ready and in top form to play, not that Lukaku is on loan.
  2. Only had a brace in his first PL start .... oh and he was the youngest player in Man United history to have a brace. Lots more Belgian talent coming from the young ranks.
  3. The problem is that you can only skin a cat once. I'm not a fan of Mourinho and it has nothing to do with De Bruyne. I don't like how he handles players. It's one thing to have to make players work but his desire to be so public about it is terrible player management. You can only publicly out certain players and it has to be an extremely rare occurance.
  4. The demagoguery of Mourinho is ridiculous. There's a reason he hasn't lasted anywhere for more than 3 years in his entire career. He's an excellent coach but he eventually wears out his welcome. Let's revisit this thread in three years and see what people think of Jose then.
  5. The loan isn't the problem here. It was what needed to be done. He needs to play #1 striker minutes. The problem is that absolute dross that is still at the club at the striker position.
  6. It has not to do with how much time I want. The product on the field for Chelsea has been uninspired and poor for the most part. Since KDB's last start v. Man United Chelsea has had 6 games 3 PL games v. Everton (on the bench) v. Fulham (6 minutes as a sub) v. Spurs (Not even on bench) 1 Supercup match v. Bayern (Not even on bench) 1 champions league match v. FC Basel (on the bench) 1 League cup match v. Swindon (77 minutes) So he's played 83 minutes out of Chelsea's last 540+ and his only significant minutes came against Swindon. How any one can showcase themselves when they are plaing less than a full game out of 6 is beyond me. If Mourinho had been honest he should have loaned KDB to a side that would use him. One only has to look at the Lukaku situation to see how player decisions have been badly mishandled this season. I still can't wrap my head around the William acquisition especially given the desparate need for pivot options. It's not like the right wing/AM options have been scintilating either during that time, and Chelsea's crossing has been some of the worst I've seen this year in the PL. I don't care that much who plays but Chelsea is going to be a poison pill for future Belgian players if it continues with this nonsense with De Bruyne and Lukaku.
  7. He's being wasted here and needs at least a loan and possibly a transfer. Ridiculous that he's Belgium's top playmaker for the NT, and he can't make the bench for Chelsea. The Belgium NT is a far better team talent wise than Chelsea. It's looking like the Mourinho hire was a mistake.
  8. He's a younger version of Mesut Ozil. Massive upside as a 10 and potentially an 8
  9. If that's the case I hope everyone continues to enjoy the the style of play that has been seen in the last few games because without KDB Chelsea has zero width to its games. How the best crosser on the team by a vast margin can't get games when the team is compeltely incapable of creating anything wide is beyond me.
  10. How would you feel when you outscored the top striker at your club by 2x as many goals at age 19 while starting only half the league games while at age 19. He came back and Mourinho loaned him out. He's going to outscore the strikers again this year. He's anything but disloyal. He's taken his loan spells with aplomb. Ask WBA fans what they think of his loyalty.
  11. He's being wasted at the moment. Granted there's a lot of depth but I just get the feeling he'd be better off at a club where he can play most of the matches, I just don't know if his future is at Chelsea
  12. Defense was shambolic at times and Luiz was a horror show left Naismith unmarked on the goal and he made quite a few bad errors at the back
  13. Utter nonsense and I like De Rossi a great deal. I think Witsel will come to the PL within a year because I think we'll see that the demand for his services will justify his transfer fee. I just hope that he's coming to Chelsea as he'd fix the pivot issues.
  14. I'm sure Bakkali if he's fit will get a cap v Wales if Belgium has qualified. May also see Januzaj as well if he's ready to choose Belgium
  15. He's on the squad for Belgium's WCQ v. Scotland tonight. Wilmots will likely sub him in if Belgium can get a lead.
  16. It's not going to matter for the Belgian NT. Benteke is better atm and his style is much more suited for the NT's style atm. Lukaku will be an impact sub who will get chances to sub for Benteke or play along side him. It's not not indcitment on Lukaku but rather a statement on how well Benteke is playing.
  17. If Belgium had already qualified you'd get your wish. Belgium needs these three points to keep the pressure on Croatia andfor possible WC draw seeding purposes. That being said in all seriousness this isn't going to be some walk in the park. Belgium is going to have to play well to win. You might get to see Zakaria Bakkali play: ) He's not shit but he's 17
  18. Not me this one has been awesome. It's been complete muppet insanity.

  20. Heh when does Torres's contract run out? I can't imagine Chelsea not getting a top striker next year unless something changes in the next few hours, I stll think Lukaku will be in the plans in 2014-2015 and the current 3 at the club will be out.
  21. Except I can't see Torres, Ba or Eto playing for Chelsea next season. I don't want Lukaku to go but if he's not going to play then there's no point in having a 20 year old striker sit on the bench or in the stands for 75% of the games.
  22. IT's really a question of him getting maybe 20 appearances and 7-10 starts versus getting 20+ starts and 35 appearances for WBA. To me it's really a no brainer. He didn't get a fair chance but if that's going to be the case then he should be off to WBA. Hopefully Ba and Torres will be gone by next summer Lukaku will return and Chelsea will get one more striker (Benteke is my guess)
