  1. Certainly frustrating for us Belgians. This is the type of crap that has always plagued the national team and I'm not enamoured with Leekens as the head man. Hazard, however, needs to grow up and be less of a petualant child. If he can keep his baggage away, which 99% of the time he does, he's a top 10 top 5 player in the world. I'm hoping the Belgium FA gets its head of of its arse and gets together the necessary funds to get Eric Gerets (main defensive cog in 1986 4th place WC team) to be the head man for World Cup qualifying and WC 2014 (provided Belgium qualifies).
  2. It's I'm going to take my ball go home syndrome. It's good that people are critical of the performance it means they there's an honest assessment of what is going on... No one thinks Lampard is "shit" but rather he's no longer the player he once was and he's not suitable to be a starting mid for Chelsea. If you want to win a League title the quality needs to improve.
  3. There were about 10 minutes of sublime play and the rest was ruffshod. I wouldn't go as far as to say played very well but the first half was so poor that by comparison the second half must have looked like Barca
  4. Lucky result, imo. The midfield is pure rubbish and there's little to no creativity. Lampard shouldn't see the field he's abysmal. Kalou was horrific and Anelka outside of his goal, which was a gift, was poor at best. Zero playmakers in the mid right now and better teams will just bunker and with poor wings Chelsea will have trouble scoring all season.
  5. Hazard is the best choice. His price tag is low relatively speaking. He's very young and on his way to being one of the world's best.
  6. New Chelsea fan in the States. I'm a dual citizen of the US and Belgium and having lived in the States all my life I never followed the Premier League until one of my favorite players landed here at Stamford Bridge in the last few days. I've been following the Belgian national team since 1982 (I was seven years old) so I'm excited to see Romelu, Thibaut, and Kevin develop at Chelsea. The only thing that could top this would be for the Blues to sign Eden Hazard. Looking forward to finally having a team to root for in the Premier League.
