So.... catch me up! How strong are these rumours?
-
Just started work yesterday. I'm currently being trained by the guy who's position I'm going to be taking over so until he leaves I probably won't be posting much. Once he's gone I'll be able to visit when I'm bored
-
Has Kakuta actually gone on the US tour? I've not seen any mention of him at all
-
he's not even called Sloth anymore
-
Plus the fact that Maicon/his agent won't agree to a 2 year contract and we'll end up giving them 3 years or worse, 4 years. And nobody sensible would take a 33 year old on ridiculous wages off our hands so we'll be stuck with him the same way we're stuck with Malouda right now
-
Thats totally unfair. Did you even think to consider what the reporters' question was? Maybe they were heckling him to get an answer? And he can't just reject the question can he? Did you read the whole quote? Did he ask for a medal? He did not even take credit for the trophies. All he said was he had some part in it which is true to a certain extent. I'm not trying to change your opinion about the man's personality or whatever, but your reaction is way OTT over what is actually a NOTHING comment blown up by the media.

I had a dream last night that for some reason Liverpool owned Torres' rights or something retarded where they could control his transfer and they sold him to Birmingham for 50 pence lol
-
lol, this is the same Kalou who was used in pretty much every single match by RDM as he could provide a lot of help to the defense. That was the only reason he was getting any appearances at all. Look, I'm not trying to justify every single thing the man did. I know he made plenty of mistakes and even though I supported him 100% when he was our manager, I have realised and understood what others were talking about. I definitely agree with a lot of points BluesMaster makes regarding his kamikaze attacking naivety and so on, but blaming him for subbing Kalou on..........
-
I would like to introduce you to...

Congratulations :D -
Drogba started in Naples.
-
He did not leave Drogba out. Drogba started that match. And he could hardly have predicted that Kalou was going to be a dumbass and give away a penalty.
-
[final post on this matter lol] He was our manager for 8 months or so and he did have some part in our CL win. As I said in the other thread, if we hadn't beaten Valencia we wouldn't have had a chance to reach Munich. BluesMaster said that we shouldn't have been in the position where we needed to beat Valencia in the first place, and yes that's kind of true but you really can't think about things in that manner. The situation that we were in, it was a critical match and we won, doesn't matter how much part you think he played, that was still a victory
-
Once again people are just believing everything the media writes. Yes he did say that part about "putting the squad together" etc but there was actually more to that quote. He said that the success was down to RDM and the magnificent players. Typically the media will only report on the first part, trying to cause conflicts everywhere and as usual everyone is falling for it. Anyway I'd just like to move on from AVB. It's done now, we have RDM and lets just look to the future.
-
Read the whole fucking quote first
-
Well yes but you really can't think like that I guess. Whatever happened, happened. As I said he did make a lot of mistakes but in one of the matches where it mattered, we won and progressed.
-
Oh ffs. It doesn't sound nearly as bad if you take the entire quote into context. I'm not saying that the man isn't a tad (lol) egotistic but JFC some of the things I read is just ridiculous and uncalled for. For what it's worth, we did beat Valencia under him and if we had lost that we would not have been in a position to reach Munich. Im not saying that result was down to him and I know he made mistakes throughout his time here but I really cannot stand this level of hatred lol
-
People should read the whole fucking quote first. Yes he did say that part but he went on to say that the success was ultimately down to RDM and the "magnificent players" in his own words FFS.
-
I'll be so fucking PISSED if Borini joins Liverpool. I can't believe we let him go and signed Torres for 50 fucking million which is even more disgusting. And now he's on the verge of joining the club that I hate more than anything. Argh.
-
This is 99.9% happening, just a matter of time. Like Henrique has said, Internacional are probably waiting to confirm the signing of Ganso before announcing this
-
Anything more than a 2 year contract will be ridiculous. There's no way we'd be able to get rid of him considering his wages and we'd be stuck with yet another 32++ year old who barely contributes anything
-
Some people on twitter seem to be misunderstanding Ferdinand's comments and celebrating... Anton didn't say that he doesn't think JT called him a black cunt... He said that he did not allege on the pitchthat JT called him a black cunt hence he means that JT would have no reason to say those words sarcastically. This is bad news as the Crown have already confirmed (using lipread experts) that JT did in fact say "black cunt" That's what I'm getting from Ferdinand's comments anyway
-
My dad's a Liverpool fan he tried to force me to support them when I was really really young. Even took me to a preseason friendly when they came here about 10 years back lol but I never really liked them and when I saw Zola I fell in love with Chels
-
It's not about me having faith mate. I was just saying that if Fernando does not produce the goods this season we will definitely get rid of him by next summer IMO.
-
As far as I know, no legit sources (newspapers & journos) have mentioned this at all. If there was even a hint of truth, someone would have commented on it. This is just one of those transfers I will never believe to be true lol I'd be less surprised if we signed messi than this guy
-
lol, if next season doesn't go well we will definitely sell him off
