  1. Torres on for Malouda is a good change even though I liked Danny at CF
  2. Malouda hasn't been as atrocious as usual, but he's still doing nothing. We really need a right winger.
  3. Think Danny is doing ok. We lost a lot of momentum after Cech's injury unfortunately but he's been doing well, linking up with the midfield and making some really good runs. We've been ok too, not as bad as some claim.. Need to build up some momentum
  4. Will be a great boost of confidence for Danny to be given the nod over Torres. Looking forward to seeing him repay AVB's faith in him
  5. Sturridge deserves to play as CF more than Torres at the moment
  6. Why?? I'm only disappointed about Mikel. Anelka isn't on the bench so he hasn't recovered from whatever injujry kept him out of the Arsenal game so understandable that Malouda starts
  7. STURRIDGE AS CF!!!! :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: :blue scalf: Cech, Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Lampard, Mata, Sturridge, Malouda. altho not sure about Malouda starting
  8. Will be delighted if Romeu gets a start That is an abosolute JOKE of a lineup. Please don't tell me it's true.
  9. Think we should wait and see how Romeu plays in the league first for a couple of games in a row before coming to a conclusion... so come on AVB! Give him a shot.
  10. He was very displeased with Ghana after the injury he suffered two years ago, so I highly doubt he'll go for the ACN
  11. He's far more likely to go ahead in management/coaching than JT. Can't see JT being all that successful tbh even though he constantly says he wants to do it
  12. Isn't that rule for 3 clubs in the same country though? Or have you gotten that from the fifa website?
  13. And also neymar has a shite attitude. He'll probably end up causing a lot of problems in the dressing room. In contrast, Romelu is a great guy. He is sensible, grounded and a hard worker.
  14. So you're saying that we (me, and the others who have remained calm during these ridiculous couple of weeks on this forum) are against the club?! Fuck you.
  15. Referees need to use common sense - like when the referee didn't book Billy Sharp for celebrating a goal for his son that died last week by lifting his shirt. When Robben was given his 2nd yellow for jumping into the crowd at Sunderland .. Weren't we all pissed off at the stupidity?
  16. Absolutely ridiculous. I realize that there are rules but the referee should use his fucking brain
  17. I have never seen mata take a pen (did he take them at valencia?) but I get the feeling that he wouldn't be very good. Dunno just an impression. Like he'd try to place it but with not a lot of power which is always risky
  18. It felt like he was changing his story though.. because at first he said he didn't hear anything then he was going on about how bad racism still is and how much that game hurt him... I dunno. And I have the feeling that if he even gives the impression that he heard/knows what JT said then they will rule in his favour because everyone hates us and everyone hates JT and they know that if they dismiss the case, the media will have a field day claiming that they aren't doing enough to stamp racism out, etc etc.
  19. Don't get your hopes up. Agents say these kinda things all the time to generate interest and get a new contract for their players
  20. Excellent article. Bosingwa is a pretty 'brainless' footballer. He doesn't have the awareness or tactical knowledge that is required to be a good fullback when it comes to defending.
