I totally agree with you but i feel the cohesion displayed by Atletico Madrid doesn't come overnight. You have to admit we've had phases in recent games where we displayed that kind of ability. We just need some consistency which will come in time. We can only hope that too much damage isn't done before we get to that point.

The annoying aspect of this result was obviously the fact that this team is much better that what was on show. :banghead: On the bright side, there's no harm in learning the hard way. Atletico showed us how lethal a cohesive and organized team can be. While we have seen glimpses in the last few matches, this game showed we still have a long way to go. It's important to be a little more objective here when we criticise RDM. It's not enough to say he couldn't stem Liverpool's second half tide without suggesting what he could have done about it. We must not forget that regardless of the names that populate the squad sheet, this is a limited team that has overachieved in many respects.
