who ever plays, we really need to watch out for those diagonal balls that napoli front three sneak behind our defense with. With napoli's seemingly poor defense, the key to progression will be keeping a clean sheet.

I have to admit I'd hate Chelsea if I wasn't such a die-hard. For the record, I hate arse-anal cos they want to win with peanut players to prove a point to us. I hate manure cos they keep winning even when they play crap. I hate looserpool cos we can't seem to beat them anymore. I hate spuds cos they are playing football the way we should. My point is, if people want to hate us, there is nothing we can do to stop them. Even barca has haters. IMO, getting a ucl spot is a greater worry than our "haters".

All I can see here is that player power, demanding fan base and an inept board are all combining to make "world class" managers look clueless in Chelsea.

IMO sacking AVB now will not be the best for the club. Every great manager has looked clueless at some stage in his career. As painful as it seems, we may have to accept the fact that AVB will not get us a ucl spot but should be allowed to try again next season.

You shouldn't be so hard on AVB. IMO Valencia were trying to make most of their play around Bosingwa and he tried to scare them off by having Kalou and Malouda on the same flank. This move was supposed to make valencia more cautious of a counter attack on that flank and reduce their attacking impetus. Shame it didn't work out but for no fault of AVB. Kalou was supposed to be running at the fullback, not practicing volleyball in our box.
