He's definitely a great player but we have Mceachran and Piazon who are both equally talented. I would like to get him but we should go for players that will jump right in like Modric.

I agree tbh, I always feel that. Yes he scores goals but like you I feel that theyre always on a plate, he may run round like a maniac to get their and get the good run ins but he can never reach the class of let's say Torres, Rooney, Drogba, Aguero etc. I'd be happy after he scores the goal but before that he'd really annoy me. United fans are great at exagerating their players "class" or "quality". I'll never forget how they did it too Macheda.

I think we should target: Subotic , Hummels or Cahill. Subotic and Hummels are both 3 years younger than Cahill but would still do a good job. Perhaps Ivanovic can talk to Neven for us Serbia to seems to have a habit of making beast defenders. For Cahill, like has already been said - he's english and has premier league experience etc.

AVB Out? I don't think people want that, a criticism IMO does not constitute it. I think it's some sort of mentally with us Chelsea fans and how criticism is purported in media. I know of many Arsenal fans that criticize Wenger harshly at times but stick behind him fully - the longevity of Wenger's tenure does help, and we must do the same with AVB. Yes he has arguably made some mistakes but has done a lot of good e.g. Mata, Sturridge contributions etc. I mean some of my Chelsea friends like the high-line and think it's good we're adopting the style of play. ( I for one tell them that we need to stick to what we're good at in defense and experiment in the Carling Cup, Fa Cup and perhaps sometimes against the smaller teams in the EPl - but - fundamentally think we ought to buy the players first.) Let's be honest a combination of unclinical finishing by us this season and refereeing mistakes have impacted us for sure.

He can't play the High-line system. It's pretty clear to me that Ivanovic is the most solid defender we got (who can play the system). Yet, we haven't got the players to play the high-line so it does puzzle me why we continue to use it. Fair enough experimenting in the Carling Cup, FA and maybe some games in the EPL against the "smaller teams" but - to play it against Liverpool, Arsenal, City, United etc. will just leak goals left right center. We either need to revert, adapt quicker or wait till the next transfer window - ideally it's too adapt, and actually play like AVB would want but is it worth it.

I don't understand why so many defensive errors this seasons. It can't just be misfortune. We really need to win this ffs! C'mon Chelsea! Gary Neville's saying some pathetic things too - 3 players on Luiz he didn't have the F'ing time to clear!
