  1. Players grow faster than clubs, and it their can be any given moment when Hummels and co. follow Sahin's step to leave Dortmund. Success is proportionate to these chances most of the time, but it wasn't the case with Sahin. If it's based on success theirs not much of a chance in the Jan window, seeing that they are top, but money can tempt any player. I'd like to think that they would be tempted by our prestige too, even though we are on a bad run of form. Really it can be in January, summer or in 1 year - who knows, but we must pursue defenders with that caliber of skill.
  2. It's not that I' have a problem, but I'd rather we go for Hummels. Hummels is quality with world-class talent and potential. I don't think I can say the same for Cahill. Indeed he would be a handy buy and great for £8 million (or what ever the price is purported to be) but I'd rather we go for Hummels who is 3 years Cahill's younger even if we end up forking out double the money. Money can talk.
  3. Agreed. Only 2 players like that I'd take, Subotic and Hummels. Hummels is an absolute animal, great personality too. So many great games. Here's a video to show he can compete with a top EPL Striker - that scum Suarez. Not even a great game by his standard. A Truly gifted defender that can cast the best strikers into anonymity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDhI3p963UA
  4. Van Basten red faced their. Group B: Netherlands, Denmark and Portgual so far. Interesting one. Even more interesting: Germany too!
  5. Man. Just showed Torres's winning goal for Spain. Back when he was one of the most feared strikers in the world.
  6. As expected Kiev is glittering with footballing stars, legends and important political figures.
  7. Euro 2012 draws imminent. Watch it on bbc live now!
  8. Of course Coyle knows whats best for the team and he says him day in day out. Nevertheless like I said, with the precarious position Bolton are in, these are the times (injuries too) when a player should be given a chance to step up and prove himself... Maybe I'm wrong and this feeling has manifested from my pain as a Chelsea fan in seeing such a wonderfully gifted player consistently benched. Especially when I know he could add something to Chelsea atm.
  9. Arguable, but it's not a case of if it "ain't broke don't fix it". Their in the bottom 3. Kakuta doesn't have to be designated a place in the starting XI but at least be given the opportunity as a sub and make some sort of an impact? I've tuned into the last 3 games and have been left disappointed that he wasn't given even 10 mins to make an impact. When they beat Stoke 5-0 he could've afforded a few minutes couldn't he? Initially I thought he'd approach Gael as he did Sturridge, leaving him on the bench for the first few games, but it seems I was wrong.
  10. -Not a fan of the new channel design at all. It lacks the simplicity of the standard "old" design where feeds, videos etc were all visible at first sight. -Homepage is good, but they need to distinguish comments, favourites and likes through something more than plain text. -I'm not sure why, but you can only see the feeds of your subscriptions and not your subs or friends like the norm. Hope that's just a fault or is being developed.
  11. This loan spell really is turning out to be abysmal. Games in which he has played, from what I remember of those rare moments, he did well. I remember his game against APOEL for Chelsea fondly and that magical U-19 tournament. With these in mind I'm perplexed, angry and let down at Coyle not picking him at all recently - especially with their atrocious form. I really hope Chelsea bring him back in January, he can certainly do far better than what we "avail" already. What will we lose? If we can get Hazard I'm sure the two will help each other out too.
  12. Next few games are difficult but crucial: Newcastle, Valencia, Man City, Wigan and the Spuds. From then on it though gets a lot 'easier' and if results go our way we could end up in a great spot by the end of the year. If we can string these wins together, I fully expect us to get the majority of the points from the 6 games succeeding the Spurs game. Beating Newcastle this weekend will mean we jump into the top four. Psychologically this victory is paramount, a win - be it scrappy of whatever - should bode well for our confidence levels. We must salvage some sort of building blocks for the Valencia game.
  13. So True. Sad thing is that theirs a lot of plastic fans saying "its hard to be a Chelsea fan." (Not that anybody here is) Even though I'm 18 their have most definitely been worse times - I'll never lose faith in Chelsea.
  14. He's looking to be a fantastic signing - Here is another quote from Marca - One thing we can't complain about is AVB is his signing - Romeu, Courtios, Mata & (Merieles).
  15. Thats generally is my view on things too. Although I'm not too sure about De Bruyne I think he would be a great addition, he's not a huge risk but he could be brought instead of a WC player which you know will be successful. Doubt it. I mean as much I hate to admit it I know that we would of been better of without this Torres scenario - we could of brought Aguero for 10 mill less and know you've got a inevitable success - The quick, great dribbling scorer Torres should be . There's lots of players that Chelsea should get but don't truly consider - Gotze being one - we've not really been truly linked with him. Tevez is currently a abit of a failure yes, but last season he was the RVP of Citeh and more.
  16. It's not the loss, or exiting the Mickey Mouse Cup but the lack of fight and pride. Arsenal went out with pride tonight, playing without RVP dominating. The next three games are pivotal.
  17. I said it before, but look at the Arsenal-City game. Arsenal really did play far beyond the caliber of what I expected, even without RVP. Man City, and Aguero, quiet all for the majority of the game pops up to score when it matters most. We really need a Pato or Cavani - I say Pato, because he can do that extra "stuff" like Aguero and dare I say el fenomeno.
  18. Minus Suarez too just sickens the feeling.
  19. It's tedious I know but our squad and players are in need of big shake up. We just have to work with our players - TOP Priority is remaining in the UCL. We all know how big a factor this is in attracting players too any club. At least top 3 by the end of this year would be great.
  20. Why do we always give into those through balls,
  21. I don't want to hate on Torres but he has been woeful - I really hope he can do well in the second half - Maybe Mata on will change things. That said, something about Liverpool they all seem to try there ut most against Torres, as if its personal :S
