  1. Busquets, Stephen Hunt, Liverpool, Skrtel, Bellamy, Carragher, Sp*ds,Hernandez, Alves, Bendtner, Neil Warnock - just a few
  2. It's more pertinant to Tore but complexions exist in his contract too:
  3. It's not that I wouldn't like Cavani it's just that I think Pato offers far more than a goal. He has the magic to dribble past 3 players and score out of nothing. Cavani is a different breed of striker that will probably do good, but needs the service. With the service we have I don't think Cavani would be the machine he is for Napoli. Pato has far more ability, the only problem are his injuries. Take that away you'll see he averages a goal every 2nd game and has the ability to be one of the very best. imo he already is as a striker.
  4. Exactly. How many of those goals came from Torres running in from the wing too? He's a striker and needs to play their. So many times this season I've seen him dropping far too deep.
  5. tbh I really don't care where he goes on loan now. As long as we have a manager that will give him time to show the disbelievers what he can do. When he proves himself in Ligue 1, and people say they still not sure yet they call for Hazard to be our top target, I will personally go to your house and slap you around the face.
  6. Outrageous lol... the talents are at every corner in Dortmund. This is a huge step for them for sure. Kagawa - Goetze - Reus What a midfield, man how I'd take that lol
  7. It's the hypocritical truth I'm afraid. Spending 30 mill on a coveted talent how Chelsea play, I was hoping we could find a compromise with AVB but it seems as though Josh still needs to prove himself :/ And as mention before spending 30 million on a young player will almost guarantee time regardless of their form or not. But anyway I do think lucas has everything to one of the best.
  8. I know exactly what your saying. It's how the legends were made. I agree with you in general, but in cases such as these i.e. Neymar, Hazard, Lucas - we're faced with players whom are already being coveted by the elite and marketed equally as vigorously. Players like these can pop up from nowhere but in the inflated market we face nowadays, the sheer quality and consistency of these gems are beginning to take toll on the price. The difficulty is finding them before they become known - we nearly did it with Alacantra, but when he was given an opportunity in the U21, and in essence became a proven talent, the price and chance of sale lapsed. I think AVB has a good eye and is looking at the right places, but an occasional gamble - with a possibility of such a magnitude is difficult to refuse. I mean with Lucas we already have a marketing gem that we could defiantly exploit beyond his abilities on the pitch.
  9. Bang on. Already missed Neymar (but their were possibly external factors) and in the modern day, unfortunately talents are well inflated. Especially one like Lucas who is regarded as one of the big,big future of Brazil.
  10. Just watching some of Snatch again and noticed: Don't know the actors name but he looks just like Carlton Cole lol. EDIT: Holy sh*t just looked through the cast and it says this: Sol Campbell ... Bouncer (uncredited) The footballer Sol Campell as well!!! Can't believe I didn't notice that, I've seen this so many times too.
  11. Come on Chelsea, I've never seen them talk so frivolously about their much loved player. If we want a classy, versatile striker we must bid asap! PSG cannot offer Pato anything but money atm, I'm sure an offer from us won't be too shabby too.
  12. Doubt it. Media are in the mood of vilifying AVB. I smell BS.
  13. It's irrelevant whether we are willing to go all out in January, many clubs like to keep hold of their big players. But money talks, and if we afford a few clever deals I don't see why not. Clubs like Lille have been after Kalou and Benayoun before maybe we can use it for Hazard, Milan pursuing Tevez and and the possible detriment to Pato etc... But clubs like Tottenham wouldn't let Modric go now, besides I think it call all work in our favour. Young talents are the way forward, and I'd be far happier spending our money on them then overpriced names who can't guarantee a better game than a younger, possibly more talented counterpart.
  14. ^^ Agree 100% Can never go back. Mine and my bros 17" Macbook Pros: Love the Dragon ball series, who can forget those days My collection is worth quite a damn bit now too
  15. Have to agree. Meireles is a good squad player, I think most of us can agree he hasnn't got the flair or creativity to sustain himself in the first XI. And @ Peace, I understand what you saying, he isn't a magical player and was never meant to be. I think that's why we know after we get another midfielder, or when Piazon or Mceachran find their feet, or when we get a winger and Mata takes the role ,he should really be a guaranteed squad player. Just not goot enough.
