I agree. AVB could have been like Carlo, and avoided direct confrontations with the media. I admire his candor and the fact that he sticks up for the team, but the fact is unlike Fergie or Mourinho he hasn't become an established figure in these parts yet. Now with the results going against him, he's made himself an easy target for the media.

Can you imagine if it actually worked? The awesomeness could kill me..

From Blues news it looks like Danny might be out. They said he hasn't trained because of the toe injury, and Cahill is also freshening up. Drogba and everyone else have returned to regular training.

So does that mean he thinks AVB might leave? Not really a surprise, but players know more than most..

That's true. However, this next month is crucial for AVB.

Yeah, its ridiculous criticizing Mourinho for not bringing up youth..the man had to establish a strong first 11 in just two years to win titles (see how long it took for Man City?)..In such a scenario any "youth policy" will take the backseat.

That's bound to deflate a few people around here...

I think a lot of people are jumping the gun here...first of all, Mourinho being sighted in London doesn't mean jack...Its not the first time he's come to Chelsea since he was sacked, and second of all there's no real evidence AVB is getting the chop, (although there were hints from the way he conducted himself in his recent interview). I think a lot rides on how this next month goes (include the CL second leg against Napoli). If he can turn this around things will look a lot better for him.

Like I said earlier, I wish AVB had kept his mouth shut regarding the management...Saying things like "the management has culture of sacking coaches" (still true btw) won't go down well. He should refrain from commenting on aspects like these in public. Its all too similar to Carlo's situation last season.. I really hope this month can work wonders with our form, and help usurp Napoli.

Alves was at fault for losing possession but Luiz could have done better at denying him room though.....

Obviously the media is making a meal of his words, but I just wish he would keep his doubts to himself. Carlo started talking like this towards the end of last season,and we all know how that ended...

Sturridge was also like that until he started playing regularly and more importantly, started matches.

It looks good. But instead of the blue oval, why not just create a blue border for the white letters or just make the font blue?
