  1. I'd start a stuffed scarecrow over both.
  2. I used to really like Mourinho. He was funny, charming and had the world of football in his palms. Now, he just seems bitter about something. There is a chip on his shoulder. Watching his interviews these days just isn't the same. Did something happen in his personal life? Is he just burnt out and tired? Bloody hell, he stated that City was a 'false win'. What does that even mean? They scored three goals that were without controversy. What is he trying to accomplish? Is he trying to build another 'siege mentality' against the world? I don't like it. I don't mind if people hate Chelsea, they are entitled to their opinions but I don't like how Mourinho is giving a rotten image of the club through his abrasive personality. He just makes the club so easily hatable. He did the same to Inter and he did the same to Real. I'm sure he is a fine person behind closed doors, a great husband and father but his media image as of right now is very, very negative.
  3. I don't think anyone isn't supporting the team... Supporting Jose isn't mutually exclusive to supporting the club and vice versa.
  4. I don't know how Real Madrid line up so I can't comment too much. I bet he will be played as a central midfielder and not more forward like James and Isco. So we could be seeing a Modric - Kovacic midfield duo. Both are quite tenacious (but small) so they could dominate some of the less physical midfields.
  5. Unless of course he is given the starting birth which he might. Kovacic from what I've heard from Inter fans; is primarily a CM, much like Rakitic. So he will be competing with Modric, Kroos, Silva, Casemiro, and Illaramendi. Three (?) spots for six players. I'd wager he is ahead of Silva and Casemiro.
  6. @Magic Lamps,Funny. I thought they should be funneling more of their hatred towards 'Buyern'. Absolutely ridiculous how deep their squad is. So deep they can buy up all the German talent and palm it off when they become past their 'use by date'. The stranglehold that Munich has on Germany runs deeper every year. Long gone are the days that Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Stuttgart would lift the championship. I am so jealous of the team that Munich has. Experience, youth, pace, strength, technique, guile, intelligence and more. Every player offers something unique. If Alaba is suspended, they can play Bernat. If Alonso is injured, they can play Thiago. They have like for like replacements all over the pitch but they all give something different.
  7. For a thread that is meant to be constructive there has been a worrying lack of evidence, reasoning and analysis as to why 'X' should be manager and why 'Y' shouldn't be manager. Thus so far there has been arguments such as 'I like X manager' and 'I think Y manager shouldn't be here'. Statements like that don't really build much other than stating preference.
  8. No; conjecture should never be part of a level-headed debate. This is such an asinine thread. For starters you've forbidden half of the forum from posting, which is ridiculous for an open forum. Then you state that the discussion needs to be 'constructive' what is constructive about a bunch of people fantasizing over their favourite player or manager? Absolutely nothing,
  9. So we are just going to rely on conjecture? He could get fired so let's have a debate on something we have no influence on? I'd rather talk about something with substance rather than ifs and perhaps.
  10. Well in four years, who knows? That is too far ahead to have a guess.
  11. That was a really fantastic cross from Branislav Alves. It is a shame that Willian was jogging towards it.
  12. He gets a little confused sometimes. Brazilian, Spanish, apples and pears. Horrid, languid, boring, uninspired. Ramires fucked up a chance by taking a shitty first touch, Fabregas hasn't been bad just invisible, Begovic has been godly, typical Aguero ice cold goal, Cahill got decked by Begovic and has possible broken nose, Cahill has been in Aguero's pocket, Branislav Alves is back to his usual self of shitty crosses and long shots.
  13. Footballers are such a sensitive bunch. Cahill took a fist to the face and his reaction was half of Costa's.
  14. I could tolerate losing if the team played pretty football. It's not fun not seeing your team not get shooting chances or ping through pretty through balls. With the amount of cash thrown around by right, Chelsea should be playing well. Balls to the walls, Arsenal are shit but at least they are shit with a pretty bow on top.
  15. Nah, just the most condescending fans with a touch of 'I told you so' syndrome. You are still right tho :blue scalf:
  16. Dat slow Willian pass to to a jogging Ramires (who was looking in the opposite direction) tho Fucking school boy stuff
  17. Where is the Fabregas magic? Fucks sake, he is being stifled.
  18. Aguero is just so damn good. To think he could have been a Chelsea player. Fucking Ancelotti and his obsession with Torres.
  19. "Chelsea; in an attacking sense are showing plenty of ambition." The state of American commentating.
