I forgot about that. Didn't Drogba get malaria in 2010? He [Drogba] lost a lot of weight?
-
Roger that, codger.
-
Well, players can become that bad, but it's usually due to some sort of horrific injury. Schurrle hasn't been injured if I recall correctly.
-
The drinks I had last night must have hit me pretty hard to make this topic. Geez, I'm turning into a lightweight.
-
Copa del Rey is Fernando's jam. It was a 10/10 finish too.
-
Should have bit him and then stamped on his foot. Ask him what is worse.
-
Schurrle was very solid last season and he can improve on that. But he can't improve for Chelsea if he sold at the first sign of weakness. Besides if the Club sold all players that had a slump, Drogba would have been gone years ago, Lampard was average till Mourinho came along, Branislav didn't even play for an entire season when he joined, Nemanja Matic was hocked and now he is the best DM in the world. I'm not saying that Schurrle is going to be amazing but I will say that he has the potential to be amazing. He isn't a starter and probably never will be as long as Hazard is healthy, it must be said.
-
He should have been suspended for that. But one person getting off punishment shouldn't prevent another.
-
I don't want him to be suspended but by all means he should be. So should Can, Cahill, Henderson and every other player that exhibits this sort of behaviour. I have no problem with Diego being suspended but I do have a probelm with FA and it's consistency.

Look, I'm just going by what type of person Costa is. He is a dirty footballer always has been. He has spat (and blown snot) on Sergio Ramos more than Suarez has bitten people. He is without a doubt the most hated player in Spain since Luis Figo. Even if he didn't mean to do it during the Liverpool match, on another day it would have been intentional. This is the type of player we have, he is dirty, a pest that gets under people's skin. He will take any chance given to piss someone off.
-
So it's impossible to prove therefore he didn't intend to? People are asking to prove it was intentional, well why don't you and the others try to prove that it wasn't intentional.
-
That is the club though. There were Torres fanboys with erections so raging hard for him they would have changed the entire team to justify his presence in the starting XI. The fans are quick to throw Schurrle under the bus for a new toy.
-
Exactly. I don't know why people are so quick to the guillotine. A lot of supporters gave Fernando Torres chance after chance but Schurrle nor Salah get the same treatment. I'm just scared that Schurrle will be sold and Cuadrado comes in and is even worse. I wouldn't mind if Salah left but I think Schurrle has the tools to turn it around. I mean, his best position is the LW and that occupied by Hazard. He has a lot to live up to by merely appearing on that flank. I think people are spoiled sometimes.
-
We don't have to do anyhting. ;^ ) They are professionals, they can deal with it. I'm sure if they try hard enough they can get a break through and turn their respective Chelsea careers around. Well...I'm sure Schurrle can elevate his level to at least his World Cup performances. He is capable of being great, we've seen it. Salah on the otherhand is enigmatic.

I agree. But Chelsea has a lot more money available than Arsenal. The club has to tread carefully. I do not want a repeat of 2003-2006. Throwing the cash at anything that moves.
-
I really hope the club don't budge. Chelsea is no bitch to be milked of money anymore.
-
You know how to make a man <3
-
Spatial awareness is a thing. He knew what he was doing.
-
Exactly 5m is a lot. If Fiorentina can milk 5m out of Chelsea for being stubborn then other clubs will start. For the last 2/3 years the club has played hardball with transfers, they can't go soft now.

The secret third option is a night with yours truly.
-
All you cunts would fucking despise him and his antics if he were on another team.

There always seems to be a striker in the Premier League that is of questionable ability but is absolutely killing in it the goals department. They show up for one season and then never find their shooting boots again. Jelavic, Sisse, Ba (to an extent), Santa Cruz, Carroll, Zaki, Michu, Gyan, Ricketts, the list is never ending. This season's flavour is a mix of Danny Ings for Burnley and Charlie Austin for Queens Park. Ings has a respectable seven goals for Burnley, while Charlie Austin has nearly double at thirteen goals. It also debetable that Ings is the more technically gifted of the two. Ings is the smaller of the two; standing & weighing at at 178cm, 73kg and Austin at: 188cm, 84kg. Ings is also the younger of the two being twenty-two while Austin is twenty-five. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/91762/ http://www.whoscored.com/Players/82102 They are both English and fit a need for home-grown talent. I'm not starting a debate on youth or Patrick fucking Bamford so at the moment forget about it. Who has the longetivity to make it in the Premier League? Which is the better player? Which player could handle the pressure at Chelsea? Will the two be forgotten in three years and I'll be embarassed for making this topic? Will I be mocked like the time that Term-X made a post about Andy Carroll being the perfect 9 for Chelsea and proceeded to post a picture of a Chelsea shirt with "Carroll 9" on the back?

I will poor an entire bottle of tabsaco sauce down your bum hole
