Actually talking about Mata's assists is unfair (weird since he had a lot lol) but he never had any "super efficient" forward to work with like Silva has with Aguero and co, or Ozil had with Ronaldo. It's better to look at the chances he created from open play - and they are a fucking lot, only for others to go ahead and continually fuck them up. Even if he doesn't create as much chances at Man utd, you can bet in the same time frame he will have more assists simply because he's playing with top finishers like RVP, Rooney and Chicarito.

Those 0 tackles in 104 minutes, aren't going to completely change even if he had played more. It's not his style which was the point being made, regardless of system.
