  1. Mata is a benchwarmer who plays in cup games, he will take Mata's spot on the bench. No big deal.
  2. Just waiting for the official announcement to delete all avatars/sigs of the soon-to-be Utd player i have
  3. Is it too late to ask for Kagawa as part of the deal? He's already used to being on the bench and will comfortably fill Mata's boots. :ph34r2:
  4. No one else will pay 40m for Mata, Utd are pathetically desperate.
  5. Agree to disagree on Reus. On Di Maria, this is what Carlo said 2 days ago: "The 4-3-3 system gives us more balance because the defensive job done by the three midfielders is very good and we will keep using this system. It is true that this change makes it more difficult for Isco, but I think he can play in [Angel] Di María’s or [Luka] Modric’s position as well"
  6. I'll start with Di Maria. His departure right now is not going to happen. Carlo has switched to a 4-3-3, and Di Maria has been playing as the 3rd player in midfield. He could end up back on the bench next season though when Madrid go for players like Gundogan and Pogba, to add to Modric and Alonso/Illaramendi in the starting XI. As for Reus, we had a settled trio last season also, but Willian became available and we had to buy him. And Reus is better than Willian, not to mention Oscar. It's unlikely to happen though tbh, i think ideally Mourinho wants a left footed player.
  7. Mata only sits on the bench because Mourinho doesn't rate him highly. Reus and Di Maria are different. The German is a sure starter any team he goes too. While Di Maria will be often rotated, not play 1 game, sit on the bench for 5 like Mata.
  8. On the bench for a reason, too selfish, wants to dribble everyone on the pitch. Reus-Hazard-Willian. Looks good to me, but not so good for Oscar, so will probably not happen.
  9. Schurrle needs to start. We're going to need the bench players when February and the midweek games roll around, and he's completely lost form since earlier in the season due to hardly playing.
  10. They won't sell us Shaw and Lallana. Or better yet, it's wrong to take 2 of their best players lol. But he's a good player, he and Jay Rodriguez have been pretty consistent this season. He shouldn't move this January though, he's very close to England's WC squad and chilling on the bench at Chelsea could ruin that.
  11. Nothing new. Utd want Mata and talks about how Mata would fit into the side. He did say though Mata is "athletic" and "can press" lol.
  12. As good as done if Martin Samuel and Neil Ashton are to be believed.
  13. If we do sell him, i'm 90% sure some of the money will be used to get another AM in. Most likely the left footed winger on the right... Mourinho has been talking about since the summer.
  14. 1 thing people keep ignoring when they talk about how shit Moyes has turned Utd = RVP. Man utd under Fergie were slightly above average last season, they got dominated away at Liverpool, Chelsea and City and still won because of RVP. Then all those lesser teams who raced into a 1-2 goal lead, only for RVP and Chicarito to engineer a comeback. If they get him and Rooney back, they'll be fine. Add 1 of the most creative players in the league, and they will surely claim a few scalps before the end of this season. (They already beat Arsenal with Rooney and RVP in the side)
  15. Tbf Mourinho has "won" this little problem with Mata. If Roman was (hypothetically) skeptical about selling Mata before, but now sees Mourinho's preferred team keep winning, surely he would think differently? I like Juan as much as the next guy, but it's hard to see him playing at a top level here again and that's a shame. So it will be good for the player if he's sold, and for Chelsea to get a player Mourinho will actually play, and help our cause in the league and CL. (ideally though, we sell to another club and not Man utd)
  16. 37m is too much to turn down for a benchwarmer. Sell him and use some of the money to reinvest in a player Mourinho wants.
  17. It will be Zouma. Hard to imagine we'll sign a highly rated player like Shaw, and no one would be reporting anything about it.
  18. Crybery. Ballon D'or is an individual award, and Ronaldo had a better 2013 than anyone. Simples.
  19. At least he has the excuse of being a CB, Ramires is a midfielder and randomly gives the ball away trying to complete a simple, sideways pass
