  1. Always. It really is a shame he forgot his shooting boots on his way to London.
  2. Not a great performance, but all I care about is the result in a game like this. Well done Eto'o, poachers hatty.
  3. Front 4 has to be Willian-Oscar-Hazard;Torres. No random surprises necessary.
  4. We all know what will happen now lol.
  5. Benteke has been great so far. This is what you want from your striker away from home; always available to receive the ball, hold it up, and just simply get it to a team-mate. Not to mention he's also a beast when it comes to aerial duels. And now he scores. This is what i hope Lukaku develops into, and from what i've been reading he has been doing better.

  7. The most inevitable goal i've seen in a while, Fulham couldn't keep the ball for more than 3 seconds.
  8. Stats can be misleading but not always. Pass completion is the hardest to form any conclusions on really, we can both agree on that. But certain ones like Key passes, aerial duels won/lost, chance conversion; show how effective a player is at specific areas. About their PL XI: tbf, stats won't show you all the times Evra falls asleep and allows his man to ghost past. But he's always present in attack, creating chances and scoring a few, which help his rating. As for Gerrard, he has 4 goals and 6 assists in the league, as well as 2.5 tackles and 2.5 key passes a game. Statistically he's doing a great job.
  9. Because stats fail sometimes But the part they show a players strengths and weaknesses, as well as style of play = as good as it gets. Ramires for example is good at tackling and has trouble holding on to the ball - pretty accurate, i'd say.
  10. Whats wrong with Whoscored? players are judged on what they do on the pitch for the full 90 minutes and they're usually very accurate.
  11. Rodriguez looks more like the attacking fullback we need; the type PSG, Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona and Man city all have. We can address this 'English core' in other positions, starting with signing Rooney.
  12. Dayum, reminds me of Kolarov, bombing down the flanks and can be mistaken for a LM. Would definitely add another dimension to our attack, if true.
  13. It's going to be so frustrating watching Drogba dive and time waste against us lol.
  14. I'd take Matic-Ramires for every away game or tougher games, but against lesser opponents Lampard will and should still play. We will basically have 1 holder in Matic, and everyone else will look to break the opposition down. And Lampard again is much better than Ramires at contributing to the attack with goals and assists.
  15. Who made that pass to Ramires? That is my point. I've been frustrated with Lampard's passing this season, but he's still light-years ahead of Ramires in that department. He is deadly on the counter, but 4/5 times this season he makes the wrong decision and kills the attack.
  16. Same can be said about Ramires, what does he offer in attack to play over Lampard? i mean no disrespect to anyone, but we don't need 2 defensive players in the pivot against most teams at Stamford Bridge. This is why Lampard is still valuable.
  17. Ramires won't be sacrificed, but even if he is; Matic-Lampard is a much better option against lesser opponents than Lampard-Ramires ever was.
  18. Don't think we will see a 433 without Ramires or Lampard.
  19. Tbf we're usually way off the pace at this point. He's done great, now it's if we can keep it up till May.
  20. He meant it's similar to what Brazil play with Gustavo-Paulinho.
  21. imagine paying, and the player fails the medical... then they say no refunds
  22. There's another one of him vs Sao Paulo. But not sure it was a meaningful game, and also the camera angle is high and hard to know who's on the ball.
