  1. He was sloppy today, lost a few routine tackles and got caught on the ball 2 or 3 times. But he still had a good game, he will only get better as he adapts more to the team.
  2. After beating City, we deserved to be top of the league. Thank you football gods for making it happen.
  3. Weird game, but massive 3 points. Hazard doing what he does, well done.
  4. When Hazard receives the ball with his back towards goal, its just pure sex.
  5. What 5 teams? the current top 5 is Bayern, Leverkusen, BVB, Schalke and 'Gladbach. Bayern are up by 13 points for a reason - while BVB were great last season, injuries have ruined this season for them. And the others are either decent or just slightly above teams. Schalke lost 6-0 over 2 games to Chelsea, and Leverkusen also got hammered by Man utd to further prove my point. La liga at this moment is a stronger league.
  6. He plays like Lampard last season - always going forward and doesn't care what happens behind him. City don't stand a chance against the best teams if it's only Fernandinho protecting the defence.
  7. Poor Cavani always asked to play wide so other strikers can shine. Don't think he will leave PSG though; they got him for 54m so it's going to take an insane amount to get him. And Ibra isn't going to carry on like this forever.
  8. No. You misread my point. Willian is just more dynamic than Oscar, but his final ball could also use some work. And i think Willian right now is backup #10 to Oscar, so given his performance there against City, i said he could leave Oscar out more times if Salah does well on the right. Not in big games yes, they have to work so much harder than the likes of Silva and Ozil who just stroll back with no care in the world. But you can't tell me Oscar doesn't have any freedom against a team like West ham at home? I did say he can make a good pass, but it's few and far between. Cute.
  9. The player behind the striker is expected to be the creative force in the team, but that's not Oscar's game. He can make a good pass, but like once every 6 games. It's not good enough for a #10, but he fits the hardworking approach under Mou, and scores goals to make up for his lack of assists, so it's all good for now. I won't be surprised if he's left out for Willian more though, assuming Salah settles in well - and turns out to be the left-footed pacewhore Mourinho wants.
  10. He plays every game if he's fit.
  11. Goal difference is the first tiebreaker in the PL.
  12. Was surprised he started in the middle over Oscar, but he did well after settling into the game. About his corners - they're not great, but he's probably the best we got if Lampard isn't playing. And Lampard anyway wants to score most times, and stays around the box.
  13. Not really. Salah is much much faster than him, and with that City high-line, he could have come in if we were chasing the game.
  14. I'd keep Azpi at LB to deal with Ben Arfa's pace. And Lampard-Matic pivot is our best for games like these imo. Front 4 picks itself, and hopefully Salah can get some good minutes.
  15. He has played some great games for Chelsea, but this was no doubt my favourite - factoring in importance, and level of opposition. I honestly didn't expect him to play so well because while Zabaleta is a cunt, he's a top defender, who is hard to get past. But Eden made him look silly, even in the air, and he kept popping up everywhere to affect the game. Magical stuff.
  16. Matic and Luiz were fucking fantastic. Everyone had a good game really. Well done.
