Our problem last season was not teams not giving us space and time, it was looking totally inept when we had to break down other teams. Put Fabregas on the bench for the 5 or so games we might need to defend, but against your Sunderland's, QPR's etc, you want him in the middle spraying the ball around. (Doesn't have to be Fabregas, can be Rakitic whoever, but a player like this would be great to have)
-
Ramires Fabregas with space and time can pick out anyone he wants, which is what he didn't have in that .gif, in fact he really couldn't have done anything else in that situation. His technique, passing etc is not a problem, his motivation/drive might be though.

I've come not to expect much when we're linked with big players... somehow, someway, it ends up not happening. Fabregas is probably the best midfielder available right now, signing him would be a massive coup regardless of his Barca/Arsenal ties.
-
Most likely, he won't play. Unless if England somehow have nothing to play for in the 3rd game. He really isn't far off. He's the best LB in la liga, or at worst top 2. And in Europe after Alaba (mainly offensively), i can't think of many better. So Mourinho and co might probably consider him the best LB in the world.
-
Having this guy on the left and Azpi on the right is the NFL equivalent of having 2 shut-down corners. Both are very good defensively, it's ridiculous. It's really a shame he's about to be 29, but he's so good i think he has to be bought if he is available. If not, then you look at inferior players like Shaw and Rodriguez.

I was going to mention Suarez but looks like he's going to stay. They will sign a striker to compete with Benz though, and it will be someone expensive as usual lol.
-
Normally I would be surprised by 65m, but after what PSG did with Luiz, anything is possible. Pogba, Modric, ADM/Alonso is just ridic.
-
My favorite striker in Europe, but no way anyone should sign a player on the back of a 6 month layoff - regardless of what he does in 3-4 games at the WC. Not to mention age isn't also on his side.
-
He just needs to rest, if possible miss Spain's first game, and he'll be fine.
-
Movement is nothing if you can't finish. Eto'o had good movement, still missed every chance away from home. Benz is great at creating chances but shouldn't be such a big deal for us, it's not like we have scorers all over the pitch. We need our striker to be the main guy, 25-30 goals a season, big goals out of nothing at Ethiad and Anfield. I know who I would trust more between him and Costa to do that.
-
Benzema 'can' be good. He can also go months without scoring, and that is on teams who create chances freely. Imagine if he only gets 1-2 chances here
-
I fear PSG will offer another insane, too good to turn down fee, when/if they want Hazard. How did Kompany + Demichellis and Skrtel + Sakho contribute to Liverpool and City's 100 goal attacks? This is actually an honest question...
-
Mou makes a lot of empty promises Demba, ask KDB or Kalas lol.
-
He's said this like 50 times now, nothing is being twisted. Also, GK is not exactly a position where you can fight for your place "fairly". If he agrees to be 2nd choice, he will only play cup games or until Cech makes massive mistakes. Doesn't make much sense for him, when he could start anywhere else.
-
He's a liability in defence. He's very fast and can recover some mistakes, but he keeps flying everywhere to get the ball, vacating his spot. But a top manager might make him calm down a bit.
-
Neymar and Bale. Both good players, but no way worth the ridiculous amount they cost.
-
Some funny transfer threads... was Welbeck before, now Jones. Soon it will be Buttner.
-
Deserved, congrats to them.
-
People talking about 50m for Oscar lol. Anyway, can't believe he would complain about Mourinho, who -undeservedly- made him a crucial component of a major European club. And he only dropped him after months of lackluster performances.
-
Unprofessional is what Bayern Munich did with Gotze. Chelsea didn't announce anything yet, it's SkySports.
-
Torres is so weak. I was so hard when Mikel played him in, and he was bamboozled off the ball like a little girl. Even if Costa struggles against defensive teams for us, he'll be perfect away from home. There's always space in behind, just need someone who's strong and fast to take advantage.
-
Good to see Cole and Azpi so far forward, this led to the 2 goals, and helped in the creation of many chances.
-
Having the games online also, for when you're not able to watch it on TV is amazing. NBC

I agree with this. At the beginning of the season, he knew Mata was Chelsea's best player - and he needed to be at the top of his game every time to continually keep him out of the team. Mourinho making those comments and selling Mata - no doubt - made him lose some motivation to prove himself.
