  1. He talked about him yesterday: "In four or five months he has been with us, he began an adaptation that is not easy. And he was champion, has won a Cup, and that will always be in his career. He has suffered, and it is normal, one thing is to play in Italy and one in England. One thing is to play Fiorentina and over at Chelsea. And it is not easy to come here in January, a team that is winning and who is playing well, and adapt to another system: Fiorentina played with five defenders, we do four, " "People don't know Cuadrado yet. We have followed him in Italy, Udinese, When I headed to Inter. I've seen him play many times and is a guy that I have many hopes for next season. I hope that in the Copa America can feed their self-esteem, his ego, He can feel joy of playing ". (Taken from Illmatic on Mourinho thread)
  2. I checked that Twitter page and he also included a picture which makes me think it's legit Also said Cuadrado is not leaving.
  3. I remember how beastly he was a few seasons ago at Liverpool. A real shame about the injuries.
  4. He subbed Oscar in this particular game because he was on a yellow, but was still flying around and making tackles. He had also already gotten Ibra sent off, and the PSG players clearly would milk any fouls he committed. Overall, it was one of his better games since January. I don't think he'll leave though, Mourinho claimed he can make a big evolution next season and has always supported him since he returned. Oscar also does not cry when he's left out, and i'm sure Mou likes that about him.
  5. I think midfielder will be a CM. If he wanted a wide player, he would have said winger instead.
  6. XI against lesser teams: Courtois; Ivan-Cahill-JT-Azpi; Cesc-Matic; *-Willian/Oscar-Hazard; Costa XI against tougher teams: Courtois; Ivan-Cahill-JT-Azpi; *-Matic-Cesc; *-Costa-Hazard - Someone needs to take Ramires' place as the 3rd CM. Obviously won't be a Pogba or Koke, but anyone capable of not looking out of place. A Remy-esque CM signing would be golden imo. - Starting quality RW. Not many options here, so I'm least optimistic about this position. If no one is signed, we have to hope for some miraculous Cuadrado improvement or something. Willian cannot fucking play every game in that position yet again
  7. No he's at LW but dropping deep all the time and rarely near the box.
  8. Nope, he's playing a deeper role though.
  9. Bir_cfc already mentioned it on the Falcao thread, but yesterday for the NT, he looked like the player from WC. Quick feet, lots of running, chance creation (some wayward crosses and some very good ones). It's a shame he looks so out of place with this team.
  10. Robinho is in the squad I believe. But yeah, their attacking options are not so impressive without Neymar especially.
  11. Yeah he will be, no time to rest for the players who played the final today.
  12. Starts on June 11th Top 2 from each group + 2 best placed 3rd place teams will move on to Quarters.
  13. It's funny that despite his exploits at Fiorentina, Mou will not consider giving him another chance.
  14. I agree he was not as good as the 1st half of the season, but he suffered some injuries which usually fucks with a players form/confidence. I remember him having some bad matches like against Kazan in EL, but he still scored vs the likes of Valencia and Barcelona to close that season. At Monaco he wasn't the real Falcao, but he was at least still scoring ugly goals before suffering a season ender. Man Utd was where he was really shit. Especially the 2nd half of the season.
  15. It was in his final season at Atletico that he scored the hat-trick vs Chelsea. The impressive goal vs Barcelona, and the assist for Diego in Copa final. He did have some injury problems that season though, which usually leads to loss of form.
  16. Sports fans in general are fickle.
  17. 35m for a 30 year old is funny. They should be jumping with 20m, because Valencia or Zenit are certainly not going to be offering more than that.
  18. I love and hate his unselfishness. Joy to watch as always though.
  19. Oscar is always running even during his bad performances though. Mourinho made it clear here, his problem is not with performance, but attitude. The only Chelsea player that just stands around (sometimes) is Hazard, and that's only because Mourinho has given him that freedom.
  20. "He has to learn that at 19 you have to run three times more than the others, you have to play to your limits and not play like a superstar with the ball at your feet because this is not Under-18s" I cannot agree more.
  21. Story of Chelsea's 2nd half of the season = Hazard MOTM. Only win by 1 goal.
