I don't disagree Reus is the better player, but why do Chelsea need creativity? Hazard and Cesc were top 3 in chances created, and only Chelsea had 2 players in the top 10 creators list in the PL. I think Fabregas would create even more chances if he had another intelligent forward to spot apart from Costa. (If Chelsea need another creator, it's at DM for when Cesc can't play, not in the attacking positions imo)

One signing I was actually looking forward to. He might not be elite level yet, but he's very promising and already a good goal scorer. At the moment Chelsea only have 4 AM's, so I'm still confident someone will be bought - unless if Mou is going to use Remy as the 5th option.

1st option is possible, new manager might want his own signings. 2nd option isn't so likely imo. Unless Salah is really determined to play a top club and risk spending months on the bench again.

Because we changed the team? Last seasons team was good in big games and couldn't break the bus, the opposite this season. They still got results tbf to them, but the performances were mostly meh.

But i really don't believe the Chelsea of this season could have beaten Real with that lineup Mourinho kept using; Willian was always absent at RW, Fabregas didn't play as well at #10 and Ramires was also underperforming beside Matic. Can't exactly topple the big teams like that.

No we wouldn't have. Chelsea struggled in pretty much every big game in the 2nd half of the season. Mourinho's 4-2-3-1 including Ramires-Matic; Willian-Fabregas-Hazard; Costa Simply did not work as expected. And they had several games they couldn't even get a shot on target.

The best thing about the speech was the beginning and the end. The beginning when he talked about Chelsea accepting 3rd place last season, despite winning 4 games against the teams in front of us - and he could have added how City were only top for a ridiculous 15 days, yet no one was crying (except Stevie G) Yet Pellegrini continues with his usual passive-aggressive cheap shots. And of course, the Arsenal professor also always has something to say. Anyway, the end was also good when he admitted the title will be much harder next season. Hopefully meaning, the team will be strengthened.
