  1. But Hulk is not Ronaldo lol. We already have enough wingers/attacking midfielders as it is, there's no point in signing Moses if we were still going after Hulk.
  2. Very good point, even though he's obviously fatigued he's still been very good for us so far. His link up play with Hazard has been excellent and the way they both switch positions has been brilliant to watch so far.
  3. We don't need him imo, and while i like his abilities to get forward and beat people, i'm still not sure on his defensive abilities - very important for someone playing in the double pivot. I would prefer Witsel or Modric if he doesn't go to Madrid.
  4. I agree with Justin actually, Torres has to repay the confidence shown by Roman to pay so much money for him, and also that of RDM to stick with him. Oh and you can't forget those fans at the Bridge who constantly cheer for him. But anyway he's had a good start to the season, just has to keep it up now.
  5. Agree and credit to Ivanovic, he was good today.
  6. RDM said he put him in the team to mainly help out with Ben Arfa and he did his job pretty well.
  7. Did you watch them against Spurs? they were pretty poor in that too, and their 2nd team were also not very good in Greece.
  8. Just to back this up, Mikel was also good in the last game with Lampard beside him. Meireles and Mikel were very good today, but no need to slate Lampard.
  9. Very happy with the performance. Comfortable like mentioned above, superb goal by Torres and good performances from Bertrand, Hazard, Mikel, Meireles and pretty much everyone
  10. Cech just made up for the goal he gave Reading.
  11. Has Luiz ever taken a good freekick?
  12. Meireles having a very good game, i guess i was wrong to be critical of him lol.
  13. I support trying different options in the double pivot, but it should be Essien or Romeu, not Meirels. No other complaints.
  14. One thing people forget/ignore is that the loss to Newcastle last season was 3 days before the Fa cup final, so we rested a number of key players which gave them an advantage. Expect us to be much better this game, and hopefully come out with all 3 points.
  15. You can't expect every player to be able to cross, just like you can't expect every player to know how to finish or take penalties. But we just have a collection of poor crossers on the team, but it's not really that big of a deal anyway since most are very good in other areas.
  16. Yes our wingers and full backs haven't been able to cross for a while now, and i don't think it's just about practice, there are things some players are good at, and things they aren't. We just happened to have a bunch of players that couldn't cross
  17. I prefer the low crosses, causes a lot of problems and a good option with our current squad. You can't really expect someone to play a perfect low cross, but you can hope for the ball to bounce around and for a Chelsea player to get to it - like Hazard did once with a volley which was blocked.
  18. He had a decent game, dropped back and linked up play well.
  19. He counts as a HG player, eligible to play for England but chose Nigeria.
