Ba is not any of these players though, he has a knee problem, we're taking a risk already meeting his clause and paying his agent fees. Asking for more wages is just taking the piss, considering what he was on at Newcastle. I think he will end up here eventually because we literally have like 1 or 2 other options.

Because Rafa prefers 4-2-3-1. We don't have the wingers for a 4-4-2 either. But just like with Drogba and Torres, you will see both on the pitch if we need a goal.

Another AVB-like gamble would be stupid imo, and the obsession with attacking football is getting out of hand. Under defensive Rafa we only played boring football in the first 2 games and have since been scoring plenty and also defending well.The main focus should be about winning and not getting someone that will try to change everything, imo at least.

I personally find it difficult to see Pep here or Jose returning, which is why I think if he does well he has a very good chance of getting the job.

Great win, especially after the way we started the game. Ramires did alright and so did Luiz - and we were able to win such a tough game without a proper DM.

I would have preferred Moses over Ramires, he helps out defensively,and most importantly offers a lot more going forward.
