Ba scored 13 of Newcastle's 27 goals in the league and without him they would easily have been far worse. West brom have been good this season, even without Lukaku - they did beat us without him. He doesn't start a lot of games because Shane Long has been doing well and they also have a good goalscorer like Odemwingie out wide. Also, Ba this season has scored against Spurs, City, Arsenal and Everton. But Newcastle only won 1 of these games because they can't seem to get their shit together.
