This has the potential to be painfully hilarious.

Actually, they were a threesome: Anelkalouda.

Yup, weirdly I think he doesn't get the credit for the level he has worked himself up to defensively. You rarely see him beat and when somebody does he's still got that great athleticism to recover (case in point: the Barcelona game with Alba beating him once or twice and him still clearing or winning the ball); there's really not many RB I would take over him defensively. Plus, if he played as a RB ideally we wouldn't be relying on his on-ball qualities as much. His value from a tactics-POV would be completely different.
-
I fully believe he'll be able to play in the RB position easily when we go back to a back-4.

@Henrique is just trying to live up to his Most Controversial Member title while @Term-X is not around anymore.

We definitely were. Not like the Barcelona teams a few years ago mind you but our ball possession and circulation in midfield was one of the keys for us winning every competition. Lampard, Ballack, Essien, Mikel, and even part-time players for us like Deco and Belletti were comfortable in possession and could keep the ball for days if need be.
-
We don't have the midfield for a 4-3-3 though as it relies on possession-based tactics. None of our midfielders are good enough in the ball-playing department.
-
Always nice to see that the Barca DNA is still alive.
-
Terrible cameo. I don't think he held up one single ball tonight, certainly didn't offer our last 2 lines any relief at all. The yellow card was trademark-Morata, though, so at least he's got that going for him.
-
It's par for the course for Courtois's Chelsea career that he conceded Messi's first goal ever vs Chelsea - always in the shadow of Cech. Nothing he could do about the goal, though.
-
Yes, he's probably still on the pitch creating spaces and drawing away Barcelona defenders while taking kicks from Umtiti, Busquets, and Pique every other second... Imagine criticising Hazard after tonight's game ffs

My Blue Dream....business to get done this summer

I, too, enjoy FIFA's career mode occasionally. -
It's actually baffling how some people could watch Toure and think "Well, this guy is definitely only good because he is physical and can run" while completely ignoring that it was his technical abilities that made him the player he was a few years ago.
-
Not me, though. I had wanted Mourinho gone for almost 2 months before the club actually sacked him.
-
I can't put into words how hilariously ridiculous sacking Conte in favour of Enrique would be ffs
-
He needs to be dropped for the rest of the season and sold in summer, there is no way around it. This is a Torres situation all over again; Bakayoko's absolutely hopeless, and I don't see how he will ever be an integral part of this team.
-
There's been way more of those negative freak results this season, for whatever reason, though.
-
Hudson-Odoi doesn't look out of place at all in this team. Not sure whether that says more about him or the team though.
-
If you sell Hazard say hello to more shite like Bakayoko.
-
I just don't get what Bakayoko brings to this team when we're down; at least Barkley is considered an attacking player. Conte looks like an absolute coward with these kind of subs and deserves to lose this games.
-
Cahill and Courtois back to their actual standards.
-
Why Bakayoko wasn't taken off instead is beyond me. It's like Conte is afraid to open up even just a bit ffs.
-
Piss off, Bakayoko. What a fucking stupid midfielder.
-
Our CM is useless as soon as we pass the halfway line.
-
That is really the only positive to take away from this transfer.
