  1. Would be our RvP-like signing. Cavani in front of our midfield would be jizz worthy.
  2. City should certainly be stronger next season. All down to what we do now. They'll have a huge influx of top class players coming in. Hopefully we will too.
  3. Imagine the boost in morale and excitement there would be if we won the Europa League final and the very next day appointed Mou. What had previously had been a nightmare season would wind up having a storybook ending. "Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Jose Mourinho from Real Madrid. He will take control of the squad for the club's post season tour against Manchester City in the United States." Followed in quick secession by "Chelsea Football Club are delighted to announce that our all time leading goal scorer Frank Lampard has signed a 2 year extension to remain with the club through the 2016 season." I can fucking dream!
  4. We should just swoop in and pay the clause for Mourinho immediately before he's even tempted or seduced by City.
  5. Now the nervous wait to make sure Mou doesn't take that job begins just like a few days ago with United. There'll be MASSIVE investment from them in the summer and I'd say they'll be favorites for the title.
  6. Would you put it past our board, though?
  7. We really would have the most idiotic people running this club if this happens. Selling away a future star for peanuts. Madness.
  8. I'd have to agree with you there, unfortunately. Depends on who we sign.A strike force of Cavani, Aguero, and Tevez would be one of the 2 or 3 best in the world. This is why it's so important for us to get Mourinho as soon as possible because you know City are gonna spend bucket loads. Can't have them stealing all of our targets!
  9. Mirror "exclusive" saying that City are very confident about signing both Isco and Cavani who will follow Pellegrini. Fucking hell. They'll have some side if true.
  10. Deluded United fans think he's gonna go for £40-50m if he's sold to us. Idiots.
  11. Only way he goes for huge money is if P$G are desperate for him. Can't see a player like Rooney uprooting his very young family and moving to another country and let's face it, he ain't the brightest guy. Can you imagine him trying to learn a new language?
  12. Rooney in, Lukaku recalled, Torres out. Sorted up front with Roo/Lukaku/Ba. We can then use the money saved by not buying Falcao/Cavani and invest in central midfield and defense.
  13. C'mon Ash, have a word.
  14. Like Gary Neville said, once he takes a nice vacation and thinks about things I think he'll stay.
  15. He can use it as a recruitment tool for the coming season. If players see that a name as big as Falcao is willing to go there, they can too.Just like PSG. Lucas last season see's a bunch of big names go there and has the pick of just about every big club to choose from but opts for PSG because they paid him WAY more than he was worth.
  16. Like others have said, that would be like Spuds selling Bale to Arsenal. Bitter rivals.
  17. Yep. Nice little vacation in one of the most glorious cities in the world for huge wages for a year and then off to Real Madrid.
  18. Only reason I'm not MORE upset that we let him go is because Liverpool are so average and won't be directly competing with us in the years to come. If he was doing this for say, Arsenal, I'd be utterly livid.
  19. Definition of a mercenary move. I wouldn't even want a player who shows such a lack of ambition. Lets get Cavani.
  20. The exact thing I predicted would happen the day he was sold. He'll probably be a 20 goal per season striker there. Should still be a Chelsea player.
  21. Think he's off for sure. Hopefully not to Arse as the rumors suggest is possible.
  22. Think I'd rather Spuds finish in the top 4 than Arse. It'd keep Bale away from United or City for another season and it would put a serious damper on Arsenal's hopes of luring top targets.
  23. So is the feeling in Spain that he'll be sacked/resign immediately following the final game or is it still a huge mystery? It'd be nice if we knew one way or the other if he's on his way here or not early and not have a prolonged saga for months.
  24. I know it's hilarious at the moment to see City like this, but it may be bad in the long run if they do indeed bring in Pellegrini. All the more reason to iron out a deal with Jose ASAP because you know City are gonna splunk out another £100m this summer.
