This is how Arsenal's defense really is. Shockingly bad. They just dominate possession against weak sides which keeps their goals against low.

I hate when Arsenal fans say "we had the best defense in the league last year!" They're a possession based side. It's not that they have an iron curtain of a back 4, it's just that since they have the majority of the ball other sides don't score much against them. Notice their record last season against other top sides. They lost nearly all of them.

Arsenal should be about 4-0 up right now. Walcott has his Torres boots on right now.

Just imagine going from playing with the likes of Ronaldo, Modric, Benzema, Isco and all of them to playing with Ramsey, Flamini, and Jenkinson. Arsenal has 1 or 2 players that would start for us. Most of their first XI wouldn't even make our bench. Still, they're very well coached and will be near the top of league because of games like this where they smack around the bad sides. They'll still struggle against the good teams I think.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but Giroud is quality. Even though 99.9% of his goals are laid on a plate for him, his movement and positioning are great.

Think this'll be a breezy 3-0 Arsenal victory. And I fucking hate watching Arsenal win. Easily my most despised club.

Don't get all the fuss about this Januzaj kid. Looks like an ultra tryhard who thinks he's got silky Ronaldo skills. He's not nearly as good as he thinks he is. Tries to take on multiple defenders at once and plays selfishly. United supporters have been raving about him like he'll be the next global superstar.

United have looked totally unconvincing for their past 3 performances including this one today. Can't see any way they win the title this season if this is how they play.

Yeah, why would a keeper like Courtois who is wanted by the likes of Barca and some of the other best sides in the world want to come back and play FA/League Cup matches? He's good enough to be the #1 at any club in any league. As much as it pains me to say this, Courtois should be brought back next season and be made our first choice keeper. Whilst Cech isn't old by any means, Courtois is 10 years younger with tons of potential to get better. Cech is still class but I can't see him getting any better than he has been. We'd be absolutely clinically insane to sell Courtois. If nothing else, give him a fat new 5 year extension to show him that he's wanted and there isn't a chance he goes anywhere. Because once Barca or Madrid start their usual tapping up tactics who knows what'll happen.

It'd be a crime if Juan isn't offered a new contract now. God knows he's earned it. The likes of Mikel and Luiz have been given new contracts recently so I think our best player should as well.

Judging by his latest quotes it sounds like we'll be bringing him back next season. Says Jose wanted him back this season but with the World Cup he wanted to stay in Spain and play in the Champions League. Smart decision. Also says he's willing to fight for the starting spot with Cech next year.

Maybe this was his plan all along. Go until January with the central midfield we have now and scout a few in the mean time to see which we should buy. Hopefully he checks out Witsel too.

He does look an absolute class above anything we currently have in that video doesn't he? If nothing else at least now we'll have a striker who isn't scared to have a shot unlike Timid Torres. I think he'll be a major coup for us.

I just love how all opposition supporters think that Mata will be a squad player and on the periphery this season and are in turn saying we have no shot at the title. Can't wait until he comes back and is better than ever. I even heard Adrian Durham on talkSport today saying that we're such a "negative" side that this may be Arsenal's season to slip in and win the title. After ONE bloody game AT Old Trafford whilst not playing a striker or our best player we're now a negative side. Just cannot wait until our team clicks and gets into gear.

I've heard people pronounce his name Villian. Wonder if that's how it's really pronounced.

Literally the only one of their attacking mids I'd replace one of ours with is Ozil. Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Willian, De Bruyne, and Schurrle is EASILY the best group of midfielders in the league. I agree that Ozil will be a great signing for them but they're still living dangerously. They still didn't buy enough to sustain long runs in multiple competitions like we did.

So at the close of the window, does anyone see a change in their top 4 predictions? I don't really. Still think United are slightly weaker than City and ourselves. Arsenal will get a bit better but I can't see how adding one player, world class though he may be, will make them legit contenders. They have several long term injuries to key players and their squad depth is still thin. We all know Wilshere is an injury waiting to happen as well. Still say its Chelsea, City, United, Spuds.
