I’m betting that Eghbali and Clearlake will buy Boehly out.

Hopefully this is that super rare match where literally ALL of Palmer, Neto, Madueke, and Felix played like shit at the same time. Madueke was at least very dangerous first half and then we just seemed to transform into a completely different side second half. What happened?
-
Not a single one of our players played well second half. Zero.
-
Comfortably our worst half of football this seasons so far.
-
Kamada has committed about 8 fouls today, 6 of which have been AFTER his yellow card.
-
We can even get the ball into our attacking players in the final third this half. Total opposite of the first half. Palmer having to drop all the way into our half to get the ball.
-
Absolutely awful energy and intent this second half.
-
We badly miss the control and combativeness of Lavia.
-
Literally almost EVERY foul or giveaway in our half by Caicedo seems to result in a goal. Fucking unbelievable.
-
The only real danger from Palace was the quick turnover as usual against us. We have Caicedo playing as a literal 1 man midfield with Enzo and Palmer playing more advanced. So we have to be super careful about turning it over in midfield or they can kill us. If Noni had finished one of those two point blank chances this would probably be over in this heat. Palace would have to expend so much energy chasing the game that we could’ve just passed it around and controlled the game for the entire second half.
-
The heat looks like it has prevented either side from playing at high pace. Both teams look like they don’t want to run much at all because of it. Look at all the players’ kits being completely saturated in sweat.
-
I hate having to watch our matches via stream. 🤬 Can very rarely find one that doesn’t freeze and buffer every few minutes.
-
Palace have a few really dangerous players but I hope we start on the front foot straight from kickoff and take the game to them. To go into the international break with a confidence building win would be great.

You do realize that in order to enact big changes you need control of both the Senate and the House, right? And not only do you need control of both but you need solid majorities. Which in this day age is nearly impossible. A President here in the States isn’t a king or an authoritarian (as much as Trump wishes he could be) like Putin or Xi who can just snap their fingers and do as they please. A Democrat president can propose these very big, popular things like she is but the likely Republican controlled Senate will block and prevent her from doing most of it. Which is precisely what they’ve done to Biden these past 4 years. Big, hugely popular legislation gets proposed, it polls at 70% approval, and then the Republicans block it. And as for her running a poor campaign, that’s simply nonsense. She has been fantastic having had to spin up a whole campaign operation at lightning speed with mere months to go. Hence why she has shot up the polls and is ahead of Trump in many places that Biden trailed.

If he continues playing well and developing it’s more likely Villa sell Ollie Watkins than Duran at this point. He’s nearing 30 so they may want to cash in while they still can. Duran could become their main man for many years.
-
If he can receive the football, take players on with confidence in 1v1 space, and just create/score even the occasion goal then he’s immediately a significant upgrade on Mudryk. I guess that’s how we have to look at this move for it to make sense. Neto + Sancho as LW options for the PL. Mudryk can play in the Conference League and Carabao Cup.

Has a player ever been officially signed and just not announced for such a long time before? Are we really waiting until tomorrow to parade him on the pitch like he’s some trophy signing or something?
-
Did they make Sancho walk from Manchester to London? Did he get lost?
-
When you think about it, Arse don’t really have a traditional #9 either and are favorites for the league. Jackson and Havertz will likely put up very similar numbers and are of similar quality. So you don’t NEED a world class striker or even a classic striker at all to be a top team. The big difference between us and them is that they have a world class defense that acts as a solid base that their team can build from.
-
Very weird. Is this the only deal in the league that hasn’t been announced yet?
-
Find it hilarious that the entirety of the English media have been silent about how shit and useless Sterling has been for ages at Chelsea but now that he’s joined Arse he’s suddenly a top class player and one of the signings of the window.
-
Never really formed much of an attachment to Sterling at all in his time here. So seeing him in an Arse shirt just feels completely empty. Don’t feel any sort emotion at all. He didn’t really ever feel “proper Chels” as they say. Havertz was annoying because of what he did for us in the UCL and because he actually liked being at the club.
-
If any of this happens then heads need rolling. No exaggerating, people need to be sacked if paperwork wasn’t sorted in time even with the 2 extra hours.
-
So uhhhh, what’s the deal with Sancho?
-
Very true. Just have to hope it gets more solid. The attacking talent we have is absurd, though. The better we keep the ball and if the attack is clinical like we were against Wolves then the defense should be less vulnerable.
