Imagining a situation where the title comes down to the final match week. Spurs play guess who? Man United. José plays the kids and gifts Spuds the title. Then he shows up to his post match presser and gloats about how he gives youth a chance.
-
Yep. It's what Fellaini and Herrera specialize in in the middle of the pitch, and then they have Valencia out wide who will be under instruction from Mourinho to be very physical with Hazard. It would probably make José's season if he contributed to us not winning the league. I hope we fucking smash them.
-
I'm expecting a defensive United team with plenty of Fellaini elbows.
-
Thought he and Moses were both superb going forward today. It really is such an advantage playing this formation when we attack. Teams can't deal with it in most cases.
-
Fabregas needed in midfield to slow the tempo down. We keep letting them burst through our midfielders to full pace and theyll score again. They're just effortlessly running the through currently. So fucking annoying when we concede these cheap goals when we're dominating.
-
We're making them look like Arsenal going forward. Fuck sake...
-
We're playing a bit like Liverpoolhere. Great in attack, shaky as hell in midfield and defense.
-
Playing through our midfield FAR too easily.
-
Little midfield control? If we can't boss Bournemouth in midfield with Matic and Kante we deserve to lose this. They should be more than enough. Cesc in the 2nd half against tired legs. I probably would've started with Willian instead of Pedro but otherwise you'd have to say this is our best XI.
-
True, true. Those games won't be easy for them, but with the form they're in, what's at stake (the title) and with arguably their best player in Kane still to return, I can't see them losing to any of those 3.
-
Our boys will be seeing Spuds thrash Watford so hopefully that'll put some positive pressure on them to go out and handle business. I really want to see us go out there and just suffocate Bournemouth by pressing and dominating the ball. No sitting off and letting them have the ball.
-
We still have 4 of what I would consider very tough games: Man United, Everton, Southampton, and West Brom. Sprinkle in a couple of clubs desperately battling relegation and we have a very tough run in.
-
Looking at their remaining fixtures and the only points I can se Spuds dropping are against Arsenal and Man United. Since both of them have been shite this season and the fact that the United game may be meaningless for them by then, Spuds may win out their remaining games.
-
Jack Wheelchair to come back into their starting XI and be a pain in the ass like he was when we last played them. Very confident and calm about this one even though I know they're a dangerous side. Think maybe Conte will bring Willian in to the starting XI? Pedro may be fatigued from playing wingback these past few games.
-
Belotti is a good shout, but doesn't he have an absolutely ridiculous release clause? Coming from a small Italian side I'm not sure we can risk that sort of money.
-
The conundrum is who to replace him with I guess. With Everton's new found "ambitious project" they'll dig their heels in for Pogba money which I don't know our board will pay. I'd love Lukaku personally, but I also wouldn't mind us going for a highly skilled, great footballing striker instead. Griezmann for example, but he's off to United almost certainly.
-
Kompany is an honest, genuine pro so he didn't make a meal of the little "incident." Another player may have rolled around as if they'd been shot and tried to get Diego sent off. But, yeah, yet again he had a poor game. For a change recently his hold up play was superb yesterday but I can't remember him even getting one shot away or testing City much at all. What's strange about his long dip in form is that it doesn't appear to be due to lack of effort. He's clearly trying out there but just isn't getting the job done. Quite the conundrum we'll have this summer.
-
Heart was in my throat during those last few minutes. Nail biting stuff! Huge, MASSIVE 3 points! GET THE FUCK IN!!!
-
What a strange looking team Pep has set out here. Fernandinho at fullback against Hazard? Delph as the lone CM player? Kompany back in for such an important match? Very weird. Think if we give it a real go we can score several here. If we sit back and let them dominate the ball (which we always fucking do against them) their attacking players can tear us apart. All I ask is not to lose here. PLEASE!
-
We simply cannot lose tonight. We just can't. Will be utterly demoralized if we do. I'm trying to hold my nerve but am shitting it already! Spurs have such an easy run in that if we give them any more hope they'll surely pounce and take advantage. It would be a collapse that we'd never forget. Huge, HUGE 3 points needed tonight.

Man City have an embarrassing defense. We have a defense that (as we saw yesterday) is capable of embarrassing mistakes. Which one will come out on top? Find out on the next episode of Premier League!!! Seriously, though, if Hazard plays like he did against Palace he should wreak havoc. Personally, really hate playing against City. I hate when teams boss possession against us which they always do. You know the cunt Aguero will turn up as he loves to do against us. Althgh I dread it, I expect a lot of sitting back, absorbing pressure, and hitting them on the break. I'd love to see us surprise them and go all out attack like we did yesterday.
-
He was essentially a winger today. Similar job today as he normally has. He was forward most of the time and only had a bit of defending to do which he has done most matches anyways. Don't think it was his position that was the issue today. Just that he wasn't decisive enough when he got into great positions. This is the reason someone like Sanchez would take us to a whole new level. He'd have scored 3 today if he were in some of the positions we were in.
-
Not his defending as a wing back I'm criticizing. He really wasn't troubled much in that respect since we on the front foot nearly the entire 90. It's the fact that he got in to promising position after promising position and didn't deliver. Don't remember him even having a go at goal either.
-
Watch Palace now go and get hammered 3-0 midweek against Southampton, too.
-
Know everyone's criticizing Costa and rightly so, but some others had shockers as well. I though Pedro was poor and I think that may have been David Luiz's worst performance this season. He lunged in seemingly 5 times trying to knick in front of a pass and completely missed it. Hazard was completely untouchable in the first half but then kind of went off the boil. Cesc didn't really do much in the second half either. City game is unbelievably massive now. Win and I'll be confident we'll see the job out. Lose and I'll personally be very, very worried looking at Spuds' remaining fixtures and with Kane still to come back soon. Would be hugely embarrassing to lose the title from where we were.
