It would just have to be Morata in addition to an actually prolific striker like Lukaku. To essentially do a straight swap of a guarenteed 20+ goal scorer in Diego to Morata would be a huge let down. Morata only makes me excited if he's part of a striker partnership. He and Big Rom as a two-headed beast would be super exciting. At the same time, we keep hearing that Monaco will not sell Mbappe for less than 100m. The fees we'll have received for Oscar and then Costa would easily cover that. Maybe see if they'd accept like 80m with milestone related add-ons that eventually reach the 100m mark like United did with Martial. He looks like a can't miss, sure fire superstar and a great investment.

True. We have enough strength, steel, and industry in our midfield with Kante and Matic. We need essentially a prime Fabregas or Kroos type this summer who can break down teams and control the tempo.
-
I've now seen Bakayoko play three times this season in the CL and he's been average or poor in each one. Not really sure he's the Matic replacement we need at all. I was excited about the thought a couple of months ago but not so much now. We need a polished midfield general who's super comfortable on the ball and great passing it.

I think both ourselves and Spuds will win all our remaining matches. Both West Brom and Boro will be annoyingly tougher than they should be, though. Pulis especially would love nothing more than to completely stifle us and grab headlines for "blowing open the title race." Mourinho is moaning at every opportunity about fixtures and fatigue and already said he may play a reserve side in some of their remaining games. That was the only chance left I could've seen Spuds dropping points. It would be typical spiteful Mou to play a youth team against them and gift them 3 points.

Far from average. Hazard had an average game (happens when a managers sole tactic is to stop him playing) but I thought Pedro was easily our best attacking player. It's really a shame that Cesc doesn't have the legs to start every match for us. Imagine how much Pedro, Hazard, and Costa would benefit from having him feeding them constantly. They'd each have about 5 more goals.

Arsenal are absolutely pathetic!
-
Come on Arsenal, you soft cunts! Just give us ONE massive performance here!
-
Pedro our best player today and his wonder goal blew this game open. Dominant after that. GET THE FUCK IN!
-
None of our players can pass a fucking football!
-
Teams man-marking Hazard would be rendered useless if we had another attacking player of his quality. Imagine Bernardo Silva on the opposite side of the pitch and opponents couldn't focus on just one player. Pedro is only really beating you one way and that's by running in behind. We need a wildcard who is unpredictable and highly skilled.
-
Really, the only chances they're getting are coming from our own mistakes. They're there for the taking if we can just up the quality of the final ball.
-
We BADLY need an incisive passer (Cesc) in midfield. Matic's passing has been so poor.
-
Hazard should be able to do whatever he likes up against a teenager and Pedro has Baines to run in behind. We should be testing their flanks at every opportunity. This game will likely be won in the center of the pitch. Need huge games from Matic and Kante.
-
Not even time for panic stations if we do lose this and Spuds win. With the remaining games we've got after Everton we should be winning all of them. Panic happens if we drop points in both this one and against Boro.
-
Really is annoying as fuck. Especially as we completely dominated them for most of that game.
-
Would be two fantastic signings. I'd love Mendy, too. Really hope he doesn't go to City where I think he'd become a star.
-
Can we just buy half of the Monaco team, please?
-
Me being the eternal pessimist I am, I have a feeling Spuds will thrash Arsenal 3-0 or something. Everton can look fantastic one week and awful the next, so hopefully we get the shit version this weekend.
-
These bastards may very well end up spending about £350m...OVER TWO SUMMERS! Christ! City, too, most likely. Hopefully we spend a fair chunk as well.
-
Hopefully he's not sold! He'll have some big offers I would imagine and might be enticed by more regular playing time.

My next favorite sight when watching Chelsea play after Hazard dribbling at opponents is watching Cesc receive the ball in the middle of the pitch and picking out a pinpoint pass. Just a beautiful footballer when allowed space. Having legs around him with Kante and Matic obviously help. You can see all of our other players try to get the bal to Cesc's feet at every opportunity. Even a world class dribbler like Eden makes a big effort to get Cesc on the ball because he knows how good he is and that says it all. Today was the exact way Cesc should be utilized. Get him on the ball orchestrating for about 70 minutes until his legs start to go and replace him with Willian or Pedro.
-
Imagine if Costa was this sharp for the past couple of months. We'd be out of sight. Two fantastic goals from him today. Cesc clearly brings the best out of him as well.
-
Every time they get the ball wide it's a worry. Every cross into our box is a worry. Every time they get to the edge of our box it's a foul risk with this shite referee. Cesc is feeding through some beautiful passes but our players other than Hazard have a shocking first touch and give the ball away.

Our defending on setpieces is SHOCKING!
