Whoever scores next I feel will win. If they score to level it I think our soft as fuck players will crumble. If we score next we can just shut it down and smother it.
-
Willian makes it 3-0 and we are on the sofa watching Arsenal v Leicester. Moments later Palace have taken the game to us and our players look like they've been punched in the mouth. Reece and Barkley really need to sharpen up. Both are far too slow and making poor decisions.
-
That goal has completely killed our game. We've totally retreated and they're taking the game to us.
-
Reece easily giving it away again...
-
Courtois (or any tall keeper) saves that quite comfortably.
-
Reece has been so sloppy since the restart . What a dreadful pass that was. Game on when it should be done and dusted. Ffs.
-
WHAT A FUCKING FINISH! ROCKET!
-
Both took sloppy in our passing and also dwelling far to long and taking too many touches. Palace are pinging it around much crisper than we are. They're clearly hungry to get in our faces and make us panic.

Been said in other threads, but where would Jorginho even to? Madrid and Barca don't need him. Juve now don't need him. We'd be idiots to sell him domestically. PSG maybe?
-
He was one of our players who seemed to really enjoy the managerial change and stepping away from the "Sarri's son" label. Frank seemed to really like him, too. He is one of our on pitch leaders. Now hes not worthy of a minute of football? Despite injuries to Kante and Kova?
-
Jorginho had started and was a key player nearly every game pre-lockdown. Now he can't even see the pitch for a minute post lockdown. You mean to tell me Frank just suddenly doesn't fancy him? Nah. No chance I'm buying that this is tactical. He has been one of our best players this season. The only explanation that makes sense is that either he himself told Frank or the club that he wants to leave or the other way around. Not buying any other diplomatic answer Frank willl give. You don't just completely freeze out one of you key players like this. Not at a time where you need experienced, veteran pros to see you to the finish line where every match is hugely important. Something happened.

It is indeed a shit load of money, but he is a 21 year old English player who is basically the face of their team. He's always going to have a super premium placed on his head with those factors in mind. If his development continues and he steadily improves (which it should) then you'd have to say he'd be worth it since he'd anchor our team for a decade. But I'd rather use the bulk of our remaining budget, whatever it may be, on Havertz.
-
Yeah, SMS and Rice are totally different types of midfielders. Rice makes much more sense as a target for our current setup. SMS is awesome but just not what we need right now.
-
Our new away kit looks like vanilla ice cream with blue sprinkles in it. Love it! That new Liverpool kit is one of the worst I've ever seen, though. Wow.
-
Yeah, there are a lot of very gullible people I'm seeing on Twitter being strung along by these random "ITK's" who have a couple thousand followers. The actual trusted sources haven't said anything other than Chelsea are interested. If you search Havertz on Twitter almost everyone is acting as though it's a formality.

Hard to believe that not long ago at all Spuds were a nightmare for any opponent. Everyone hated playing them because they pressed like monsters and blitzed you. Now they've regressed massively and are totally unrecognizable from that team. They're dreadful. And what's funny is that they're totally skint and can't do much in the transfer window to remedy it. They'll be basically the same stale team next season with a couple of cheap, bargain bin signings or loans and managed by Mourinho who still can't coach modern attacking football.
-
Weird how all of our CB's except for AC are seemingly expendable. I'd rather keep Tomori than him tbh.
-
Milinkovic Savic went a bit off the radar after he was heavily linked with United a year or so ago. But apparently he has come back and been phenomenal this season for Lazio. He's immensely talented and could become world class but I'm not sure we'd be after him since he plays the same position as Kova/RLC/Barkley.
-
I think this may be a game where Frank makes a bunch of changes to the starting XI again. May be tough for a player like Pulisic for example to play at such a level every couple of days so I wouldn't be surprised if he starts on the bench here.
-
Things could change come the end of the season, you never know. Maybe that City game is a wake up call for them that it won't be nearly as easy next season if they don't reinforce. God knows City are going to spend regardless of their ban situation.
-
Stepping up. Preparing. Leading the chase. Considering an approach. As with Werner, I think any move for Havertz needs to happen before this season ends or else we'll have more competition for his signature. Right now it's basically us or Real Madrid. We wait and we may see the likes of City, Liverpool, and United getting involved.
-
I follow a couple of journalists who are Palace supporters and they both complained that the Palace players are already on the beach. They've apparently been dreadful since the restart. Nothing at all for them to play for. So, best performance of the season from them tomorrow then.
-
Meh. I don't miss Matic and I'm not bothered about him there. Another player that United fans have done a 180 on since Bruno joined. They all called him shit and wanted him sold ASAP. One of the most active threads I saw on RedCafe recently was "who should be the Matic replacement?" Let's see what everyone thinks of him once United aren't in a purple patch beating up on shit teams. I'd rather they keep him around than buying someone better.
-
Much as I love Kante, he's injured frequently these days. WH will probably demand £80m for him if they stay up anyways so it's a moot point.
-
Declan Rice again very impressive here. Very calm, mature midfielder for someone his age. And highly mobile for someone so big. You have to imagine that of Frank wants rid of Jorginho, Rice is the obvious pick to replace him.
