  1. We are doomed i tell ya! We won 4 - 0 last night and we are top of the league after some excellant performances... what are we going to do!!!!!! Yes the performance wasn't the best last night, but would we play like that against the bigger boys? Of course not!
  2. This is a big game for us, a chance to not only stay top of te league but to also take a sizeable lead over United early on. I think we can and will win this game, would be interesting to see Drogs and Anelka paired together, but i would doubt if Scolari will do it for this game.
  3. Actually that was one thing i was dissapointed with last night! This is the second game now we have been cruising with 10 - 15 minutes to go and Scolari has made a substitution that was not Di Santo even though he was on the bench. These are the exact sort of situations where players like Di Santo should be given their chance to show what they can do, it is the only way we can bring them through - when else will they be given a chance?
  4. I would be suprised if this is anything but games from Fergie, he knows that it shouldn't have been a red! He is pissed off because he thought we would have been without Terry for sunday! The world and his dog knows we get no favoritism from anyone and that Man you have been the one who get everything going their way..
  5. Belletti can strike a good ball from distance, but his overall performances are never that great. I didn't think it worked particulary well when he was playing the holding role. We have had an excellant start to the season and it would be perfect to top it off with a win against United on Sunday.
  6. Excellant reslut, as Scolari said it wasn't the greatest performance we have put on but we still got a fantastic result in the end. Lampard, Bosingwa, Carvalho and Mikel were the pick of the performances for me last night. Mikel is really growing into a very important player for us now and i think he will come on miles this season, is it just coincidence that the 2 games he has been out we struggled against Wigan and Spuds? Maybe but i think we are a better team with him in it at the moment. Good to see Anelka got among the goals, he did well and was unlucky not to score previously, 3 goals this season already which you cannot fault him for at all. Will we go with both Drogba and Anelka for United? Maybe we will.....
  7. Lol, why am i not suprised that the red nosed drunk has had a moan about that. You have to laugh that he thinks the they favour us and not them, i am sure fergie doesn't need reminding how much they have been given in the past and that their man is well in with the FA - funny how he seemed to know the exact nature of what went on with Hackett and Halsey........
  8. Common sense prevails! Makes a change for us to get a favourable result from them, although it was pretty clear and obvious. Thought Scolari has handled the whole thing very well too which may also have gone in our favour.
  9. That was absolutely disgraceful, i can't believe he has broken the guys leg as well!!! There was no excuse for what he did
  10. Well he is very highly regarded at the club thats for sure, and he has been involved with first team duties previously, mainly last season. So that would be my bet.
  11. He is a fantastic player, very much like Deco and i would like to see him brought through as his eventual replacement. Fantasic at dead ball situatuons as well, the vision and passing is top class.
  12. True, and lets hope that Deco can go on for just as long. And in the meantime get his replacement lined up. In my opinion we have one comming through our own ranks in Sergio Tejera.
  13. Fantastic result from us and another great performance. We have had a very good start to the season so far and now we have to keep going.
  14. It's a damn shame we didn't get Deco years ago!! Your right the link up play with Lamps is incredible.
  15. Was a bloody shocking descision. It should 100% be taken off JT, but i don't fancy our chances much of it happening which is the joke of this whole thing.
  16. Steve Clarke was clearly an important figure amongst the coaching staff for various reasons. His loss will affect us, and i think it is only right that Chelsea firstly were allowed to fight to try and keep him and secondly that we get some compensation for losing him to the inbred pikey's. Yes if Steve is determined to leave then fine, but we can't always bend over to accept everyones demands.
  17. He has been incredible for us so far this season, to hit the ground running in the way he has is no easy feat and he has certainly brought a new dimention to our play. Lets hope it can continue for him in this way.
  18. When was Clarke treated badly? Was he treated badly because he wasn't offered the top job? I can't understand his reason for wanting to leave to do effectively the same job at West Ham.
  19. Roumers are that Clarke has left and will move to West Ham to assist Zola. Not sure how reliable these roumers are though, but it is in a few of the papers this morning. If Clarke does go i would like to see Brendan Rodgers take up Clarke's role under Scolari, Brendan is an excellant coach.
  20. Have to wish him all the best really. If we want him one day to manage Chelsea he will have to do a good job there with the Hammers.
  21. Well i am sure the players are just as bemused as the rest of us as to why a top player would leave Madrid to go to Man City. But this has been discussed at length now, he backed himself into a corner and either Real wouldn't accept our bid or we wouldn't go as high as city.....
  22. It is getting very silly the way the FA keep singling us out for charges for anything and everything they can possibly think of! Will Man you be charged for failing to control their players????
  23. Boilesen, 16, is scheduled to undergo trials at both Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge later this month, meaning the two rivals are in line for another tug-of-war over an up-and-coming youngster similar to their infamous battle for John Mikel Obi's services three years ago. On that occasion it was the west London club who eventually emerged with the midfield player for a fee of £12 million, even though the Nigeria international had initially signed for Sir Alex Ferguson's side. "United are my favourite club. But I am very proud that two such big clubs are watching me," said Boilesen, who skippered Denmark Under-21s to a 6-1 thrashing of their England counterparts last month. "Whether it is in Denmark or abroad, only time will tell," he added. "For now, I am just coming to England to train with United and Chelsea." Boilesen, known back in his homeland as 'the new Daniel Agger', is considered to be one of the best defenders in his age group on the Continent and has already attracted interest from some of Europe's top clubs, including Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.
