Unbelieveable. Was watching it all unfolding on the news last night and just couldn't believe it. Michael Jackson was a big part of my life particulary through the late 90's. What he achieved in music and music video's will never be touched....

Sturridge certainly won't be brought in to play for our reserves, he may make a couple of appearances in the reserves but first and foremost he will be a first team player.

Yes well if they want to encourage any young player to work their way into the first team they have to be given plenty of minutes on the pitch. But sturridge will not be a starter until he has earned it by impressing on the pitch for us. I am sure he will do too..

It will certainly be good to finally get Ancelotti infront of the media and then into pre season training. To finally get an idea of what the man plans for us and possibly as has been said finally some transfer information. Although i don't see why the club would hold out transfers until Ancelotti's arrival.

But he is not going to be a regular starter, that is a fact. He is going to have to work very hard to earn himself some starting places. He is good enough to but it will take some time. He will get plenty of minutes though, coming off from the bench to start with.

How many players are actually snubbing us though? Are we even in for these players in the first place? And if we are not prepared to meet the demands of players i.e wages does that count as a snub as well then? The papers could link us with a different player every day and then have them snubbing us the next without us even being slightly interested in them.

Lol, are you joking. Drogba didn't even get 15 goals last season...... His aim for this season would be to make a good number of appearances and impress in his minutes on the pitch and bag a few goals.

We are not going to sign a centre back. We have more than enough cover and quality in that position.

Tevez would still be a very good signing for us. At the moment i have no idea who we are actually going to sign. Tevez looks like he is going to City, Aguero looks too pricey for us, Villa wants to go to Madrid, Ribery is too pricey and Milan won't sell Pato to us. Man City ARE making themselves stronger this summer, especially if they get Tevez which should worry Arsenal the most. Man U have been made considerably weaker this summer already, but it depends now how they spend that money and Liverpool could also go backwards with a few players being linked out of there! With a few choice signings this summer we could pull away from the rest and definately win the league....

Excellant news if true. Man City are certainly pushing their luck and i hope that they get far less than what CFC were actually offereing them. Either way i hope it is true that we have signed Sturridge and i hope the club confirm it soon.

We don't have the right conditions to do that at the moment though. That may change if Ancelotti is willing to let Mancienne, Stoch and probably Kakuta come through this season and make an impact, those 3 can be stars for us.

No matter how good our or anyone elses academy is 90%+ of players who come through our academy will leave and not play for CFC's first team. You just cannot produce that many youngsters. If we even managed to bring through 1 a season that would be a massive, massive achievment. With regards to Morten Nielsen, he had seriously struggled to make and impact here with us and has been on loan to denmark after struggling to make appearances at reserves level. I seem to remember something being said about him for next season but for the life of me i can't remember, i think he may be out on loan again next season or back with us i am not sure. But i doubt he has a future with us.

A forward line of Tevez, Robinho and Santa Cruz would be pretty formidable for Man City if they manage to line up Tevez as well.

To be honest had it been me i would have seen how he performed next season before offering an extention.

Stoch is ahead of Kakuta in his development and is better able to cope with the higher level of football at the moment. Stoch for is a fantastic little winger capable of great things. But if Kakuta can stay injury free and develop as well as Stoch then he will undoubtedly be better.

Erm, couldn't say for sure who is that faster out of Kakuta or Stoch, would say maybe possibly Stoch. But there is no doubt that Kakuta is the better dribbler, the boy can do magic with the football.....

Wouldn't be the worst deal in the world. Yes Drogba is absolute quality for us, but if we have to use Drogba to get one the Worlds brightest young stars then there are a lot worse things we could do thats for sure.

Would be a good signing i am sure. Not the "star signing" everyone would like to see but he has the potential to be a big player for us i feel.

IF the roumers of us right back hunting are true, then it is clear that as Bosingwa is wanted at Bayern then we are trying to do a deal with them to bring Ribery to the bridge and Bosingwa going the other way. We certainly won't make the mistake of doing the deal with Bayern before securing a right back replacement.

Yes we did i am sad to say. Completely ruined by also doing too much too quickly with him. Frank Arnesen takes a lot of stick for the fact we have no young players in our first team. But i think he is doing a good job, we have a LOT of fine young talent in our academy, and it isn't up to Arnesen to play them in the first team. Plus Di Santo, Stoch, Kakuta and Mellis all on the fringe is not bad at all. You don't build a successful academy overnight, our academy to put it nicely was s**t. The U16's group which is moving up to U18's this summer is the best group of players we have produced, from this group onwards we will see the TRUE worth of our academy..

If Tevez is going to Man City then it more than likely down to them offering more wages. Which looks like it could be a problem for us this summer in us trying to sign a top player. I do hope we have deals in the pipeline for this summer.

Would love to see Di Santo play a full season in the Premier League even if it isn't with us. Still think the lad has bundles of quality which not many Chelsea fans have seen and deem him not good enough, which i believe is not the case.

Shame. Joined us as a 16 year old and i would guess his appearances across Youth, Reserves and First team would look pretty pathetic although i can't find the stats anywhere. Never given the right development and subsequently has been moved on.

A lot depends on what our transfer activity is. But he would still be an option for us if we are willing. But to have such an ageing attack with no sign of anything to carry on from them is a worry.
