I would love us to be signing Pato, but i can't see it happening. My next preference would have to be Aguero without a doubt and i hope he is the one we are going for, i honestly think he is a realistic target as well. But somehow i think that the club are only looking at Ribery and possibly still David Villa, neither of which for different reasons are likely to sign for us.

When i was watching his interview on CTV last night i certainly perked up when i heard those comments. He certainly sounded confident of bagging a "marquee" signing. I am not sure if Tevez would class as the type of signing discussed, i would have thought that it would be from Ribery, Pato or Aguero. As much as i would love to see Pato here i think Milan fans would burn down their stadium if they sold him as well. There has been silence on Aguero for a while, i do hope that we are looking to bring him in. He also said that they would still be looking to bring in 4 or 5 signings this summer, so i think that would mean 1 more signing and then hopefully the big name that we would all love to see.

Very good signing and i am excited to see how he is going to fit into our team and what he can actually bring to the table. I think this could be a very very good signing for us.

It is ridiculous that teams like Barcelona expect other teams to play right into their hands and not disrupt their "wonderful" football. We showed the world how to contain and beat Barcelona, and due to some poor choices by the ref and just sheer bad luck we were not the team to go through into the final.

Well according to the comments attributed to him today he has had everything done and he is training with the team today! Not sure why the club have not announced anything yet? Maybe waiting for the magic 5:00pm when they like to confirm announcements.....

Excellant news. Mikel is a class act and definate one for our long term future. Easy to forget his age most of the time, but it has been very impressive the way Mikel has grown since joining us....

Indeed, something he would be very keen to do as well, and something we seem to have been waiting a long time to see happen! Will Ancelotti be the man to give Joe a go in that role?

Depends a lot on the manager i guess. Robben and duff were very effective comming off the right flank, but neither of them really had a right foot, so i am sure if we wanted them too Malouda and Zhirkov could do the same.

Well Tejera is a similar player to Deco and i have liked what i have seen of him over the years. I have no idea though how well he got on in Spain so i don't know what sort of level he is at in this moment. But i would guess it is probably too soon for him.

It is a real shame he won't get a proper pre season as that can make a lot of difference. But it is more important to bring Joe back in only when he is 100% ready.

I also think it is pretty clear Deco wants to leave, and we should let him and look to bring someone in now who can do a similar job but someone more long term. Carlo will have a good look at the squad he has before making any descisions and also deciding who is comming in before players leave.

Great to see Joe Cole back, but i think it is still unclear if he will play any part in the pre season games.

Absolutely, having the competition is healthy and brings out the best of the players as we saw during the time when the mentioned above were in the same team.

It is very hard to know how a manager is going to do. But i hope that Ancelotti will go past 4 years because i do think he could build something with us. If we get the set up right around him then we can take this club in the direction we have been trying to for years now.

Was good to see Sturridge in action in Chelsea gear! I think he can be a great player, but most interesting in the short term is how he is going to do this season. Hopefully he can have a good pre season and show the ability he has and will get the chances he needs.

Having watched the press conference i think Ancelotti did very well and came across as a man who knows what he wants. I like the sound of how he intends to deal with the team tactically, he will work out the best style for the players and not try to force something on them that is unnatural for them. I am very much looking forward to seeing what he is going to bring to Chelsea.

JT everytime. He is so important to our team in terms of leadership, strength at the back and in getting the team bonding. Even though we appreciate JT so much now we will notice the massive difference once he retires...... Irreplaceable.

Ancelotti's conference seems to have gone down well across the board. I am looking forward to watching it tonight to see for myself how he did.....

Sneijder would be a fantastic signing, a real top class player. And Van Der Vaart is also quality, if we signed either it would be a move well made for us. But if i had a choice i would go for Sneijder.
