Neymar would still be my number 1 target this summer. Think we would be crazy if we miss out on him now... He has everything we are looking for in a player to push us forward..
-
Can't see there really being any consideration for selling Luiz, he was signed very much with a long term view....
-
Our young age groups have been very dominant in the tournaments that they have entered recently. We have made massive strides as an academy and that will just continue, expect some very very good young players to be showing up in the youths soon including this year (although most have already played last year). The only thing we need to do is bridge the gap between youth and first team and we are sorted...
-
Todd Kane will be signing his first pro contract this summer along with a number of other players. Natural progression but he is a very talented young man......
-
Would not mind us signing Hulk at all, much more the type of player we need that Falcao...
-
Roumers of our interest dropping now because AVB does not fancy him are bound to be rubbish especially as the roumers were on the day he signed, how would the press now know his transfer preferences? I would imagine after the weekend we will see things start to move, and even more so once the players are back from pre season training and the squad can be properlu assesed by AVB. Again though a striker is pretty low on our needed list.
-
If Falcao comes it most certainly means that Drogba will be leaving, would seem a strange buy considering there are other areas of far more importance to strengthen.
-
Given all the reports we have had already with Hiddink, Redknapp and Hughes all being dead certs i think we have to take this with a pince of salt still. Having said that i would be well pleased to see us sign a young up and coming manager with something to prove and a very good technical knowledge of the game. Would be pleased if we did appoint him.

We will of course want to get our manager sorted before making any signings, and i agree with feroze, Aguero will not go to Juve.... -

Wouldn't trust anything that came off that show, they would tell you black is white if it got them callers and attention....... Fact is though we have been heavily linked to Aguero for years. If he is to move we are bound to be one of the key players in trying to sign him -
Hulk and Hazard are no more wingers than Neymar and Aguero. Sanchez would be a good signing but not likely to come to us by all accounts. The others are not exactly the World Class players who could better Neymar or Aguero in those positions.
-
So a no to Neymar and Aguero from you, i understand you want natural wingers, but who?
-
To me it seems that Van Basten with Hiddink as DOF is most likely. And whilst i wouldn't be doing cartwheels at the appointment i would be more than willing to see how it goes without complaining about the appointment. Going for experienced managers clearly isn't always a gurantee for success

I just don't see him as an out and out Centre Forward, he would be more than capable of playing anywhere across a front 3 or even behind in the number 10 role. What natural, quality winger is there that we could bring in that would be better? With Villa v Robben it depends on what you are classing as effective, i don't see Villa hindering Barca's attacking play and i would quite happily take that over the attacking play we are serving up at the moment. -
To be honest i would just like to see a young manager with something to prove given the chance to build something at Chelsea. No idea who that person is though.

Why can't Aguero play as part of a front 3? Of course he can. Look at Villa at Barca, always a CF but plays out wide for them now with Messi down the middle. -
This https://twitter.com/#!/Jmceachran46 is 100% Josh McEachran's twitter. Josh is not going anywhere. He has been with us since 8, said at the player of the year awards he wants to always be at Chelsea and has no reason to leave.

Would love to see us finally sign Aguero. Imagine a front 3 of Torres, Neymar and Aguero........ Aguero is a quality player who would certainly bring some pace and creativity to our attacking play, something we are seriously lacking. -
Seen a bit of talk today that Guardiola is a very real possibility. Would certainly be suprising if we managed to pull that one off. Could see the logic behind trying to get him considering Barca's brand of football and where Roman would like to see us going...
-
What garbage. Josh is not going anywhere.

Am i the only one who has no preference as to who our new manager is? None of the names being mentioned generate any excitment and it would be a case of hoping they do a good job and waiting to see. The person who would generate excitment is Mourinho and there is no way that is going to happen.

Lalkovic has really impressed me this season, he has grown so much in his development. At the moment i would play Lalkovic ahead of Tore. Lalkovic seems to prefer playing the striker role in a 4-3-3 but for me his future lies on the wing, his pace and skill just makes him the perfect fit, plus he can put in some damn dangerous balls into the box. Given the first teams slow and laborous play this season i would have played Lalkovic the last 2 games on the wing.
-
Tore has a lot of talent. His speed, skill and stenghth make him unique in some ways. He has had a very good season for the reserves this time around. However for me he can improve a lot lot more and i would have hoped to see him be more dominant in games. Part of the problem i feel with him is his arrogance and temperament which lets him down at times. Can certainly become a good player but nowhere near ready for the first team yet. A good season on loan would be ideal for him to play regular first team football and develop himself.
-
If we were to make just 1 signing this summer (which we won't) then Neymar would be the one i would go for.
-
In truth Lukaku would be something of a luxury signing. Not a player we NEED for our squad next season. Other positions are more important, 2 wingers, creative midfielder and right back. Would not mind us signing Lukaku but it isn't a signing that we MUST make,.
