exactly. in his 3 years at RM under jose, he was jose's willian. no one in the world would have the stats when playing 3rd fiddle to both CR and ozil. he was a vital cog in the jose counter attacking system. if we are judging him on his one injury prone season in an average man united, then thats just weird.
-
was, is and will always be a chelsea legend. SUPER SUPER FRANK.
-
oh no!!! another set of goodbyes.
-
people have such short memories... ADM not good enough.. hahahah..
-
so??? your old senile eyes along with closed mind may not be helping you see and think clearly. and hence i would like to trust our manager on a player rather than some season ticket holder.
-
maybe you are not familar with the concept of HD channels. may not get those in the pubs. so jose does not watch cuadrado in the flesh? who takes the decisions at chelsea football club? some group of pub going, condescending bunch of .... well maybe i would like to put some trust in our PL winning manager who i would guess that he watches cuadrado train and play everyday, so i would take his opinion over some troll who judges a player over 288 minutes. i guess your old eyes might need more than just spectacles grandpa... by the way, are not u using a keyboard too?
-
so basically all of you guys in that pubs are morons... well birds of a feather flock together... but you know what... lets see what jose thinks. does he think cuadrado is a flop and sell him in the summer, or does he think that cuadrado deserves a chance to be judged over a whole season. oh well... now thats going to make all of you guys on the "jury" in the pub look like oxygen wasting asses... also, i am indian but jose is portuguese. does his opinion matter? or do we just have to listen to english people who go to pubs?..
-
no need dude. i know what those words mean (the latter of them obviously being you). by the way, if "some" say that the jury is out on cuadrado, how can it be a "unanimous" decision that he is shit... ... probably you need to look up unanimous.
-
hhahahahha.. so just cos you could not give a proper rebuttal, you start attacking another poster. brilliant. well, what could be expected from an idiot who has already tagged cuadrado as a flop after 288 minutes of football. i mean our club and manager and scours and everyone must be such massive idiots, right? btw, try telling a united, city, pool , arsenal, RM fan that jose's transfer dealings have been poor. one of the biggest asenine comments i have read here, and believe me i have read plenty.
-
what? with options like falcao and cavani in the market. not to mention mandzukic or even "PL proven goal scorers" like benteke and bony, he bought costa. cesc was a flop at barca. we could have gone for rakitic, schneiderlein or someone. as for cuadrado, he has played 288 minutes. whats worse is that he has played 288 minutes over a course of 12 games at an average of 24 minutes per game and you have already judged cuadrado to be a flop??? did not people have similar opinions about malouda and then he proved all of them wrong by being one of our best player in 09-10. judge cuadrado on the next season. and so far, jose has been GREAT in the market.
-
hmmm.. more like matic, cesc, costa.
-
no gaitan.. please... would not mind ADM though.. if we get him for like 10+cech.
-
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! totally deserved!!! love you jose!!!
-
WTF!!! people are actually considering him... injury prone, average player who cant play more than 10 games in a season. especially when we have a lot of funds and the RW spot is one of the positions where we NEED a real upgrade. willian is a 1000 times better player.
-
need a real goal scorer. and they ll be fine next season. hopefully hull beat united and relegate newcastle... please god, please...
-
with sunderland safe from relegation, please give chances to youth. and more than just RLC. ake, deserves a start.
-
if this 7mil is right... then we should definitely go for it. not even a doubt.
-
khedira is barely an upgrade on rambo. not the player we should be going for. moreover, like you said, jose probably wants to test out RLC. my only must signing is a goalscoring winger. reus/pedro is must.
-
the journalist were probably feeling lazy. did not want to use their brains (however small). so just came up with the same old shit.
-
cech (please... even if injured) iva GC JT luis ake mikel cuadrado RLC hazard DD (last match, deserves a proper send off this time) hazard, iva,JT just for their 38/38 games. RLC with a little more freedom. ake should get a start too. think it would be mikel, cech and DD's last ever game in a blue shirt. all of them to be given a start.

2 of the worst players who can absolutely destroy the squad harmony are zlatan and yaya. also, zlatan is PSG's first choice striker who is banging in goals for fun. he wont come here to play second fiddle to costa. yaya will be a useless buy. would create more of a problem than solve any. godin would cost 20mil, varane would be a better option. greizemann for 44mil compared to reus for a similar fee. i would take reus every time.
-
the best memory of my life... nothing comes close.
-
he is quality. but with just one year on his contract, all depends on what pool is asking for him... i would go as high as 20mil.
-
after coming down the booze and football high, guess i was a little harsh on RLC last night. the expectation and hype around him is massive and i guess i got caught up too. just a 2nd start for the guy and its understandable why he would be playing it safe. would like matic-RLC pivot in next match and it should be played the way they are meant to be played, RLC as no.8 and matic as no.6. also, the expectations and hype need to come down. people were saying that RLC should and can easily replace rambo for next season, which does not help those who have just seen him in these 2 matches or a couple of youth finals.

i think my question was how many young players go on to become great players, not how many great players were young once.
