so the next time things dont go their way, they can stop giving a shit about the club and start performing shit again?
-
seriosly dude? this is just not fair. jose ALWAYS supported the players. he took teh blame on himself. he blamed the refs but never nver the players until last weekend. this is so not fair to him. anyone will vouch that jose always backed his players and came up with the most ridiculous excuses to prevent them from being targeted.
-
so he told the team to not press/dont play with pace/he asked cesc to lose every second pass/he asked costa to miss 90% of his 1v1s?
-
best of luck managing the cunts.
-
hhahahahahhahha... am i missing something? are these people really professional manager who do actually know a thing or 2 about football.
-
so its un-dramatic to be bloody piss on the club and your manager? i have not? how long have you been on the forum mate. people should really know their stuff before running their mouths.
-
your brother sleeps with your wife/gf, and you would just say "its alright, he is my blood after all". (easy example to think thanks to giggs). i support mikel, i support rambo. does not matter if they have the quality, but atleast they have character and give their ALL for the club and the badge. what more proof do you want mate? the fact that his performances have been so horribly shit. or the fact that even someone like pat nevin has said what he has said. what does pat have to gain by saying this. every time i have heard him, he simply praised every chelsea player, the club and everything related to it. i remember during the AVB time too, he was so positive. as for cesc, i always thought pat was a fan. just hear him speak of cesc the day we won the league and cesc just fell on the floor crying. just look at him talk about cesc. why would nevin say what he said. the only way we get more proof is if cesc himself comes out and says this because i am pretty sure if jose says this, people would still think he is making stuff up or trying to create problem. as for calling him a cancer, well he is what he is. i did not need pat nevin to say this. sometimes things are just obvious. he was, is and always will be a cunt. a cunt of a human. lastly, since i have already been so repetitive, let me finish with my best tag line related to cunt fiberglass : I STILL CANT BELIEVE THAT JOSE ACTUALLY BOUGHT HIM.
-
I dont think "FEAR" is the right word here. I dont think players like Lamps, DD, etoo, zlatan etc etc "feared" jose. I dont think the likes of tiago, koke, luis, godin, "fear" simeone. Most of these players and infact most of the players who have played under them think of them as a father figure. In fact, i would say the players who have played for jose and simeone or even someone in their category - SAF, seem to respect these guys the most. Is simeone ruthless? YES. i mean look at the way he took out an underperforming miranda and replaced him with jimenez. same goes for mandzukic or cerci. simeone was not afraid to sell/loan them 1 year after ATM spent a fortune on them (by ATM standards). But thats what today's football is all about. owners dont have the patience to watch a year without a trophy or a minor slump (not ours, ours was as major as its comes). hence, i feel simeone would be perfect for us. as for player power. lets not get into it here. EVEN IF, there was not any major player involvement in getting jose sacked, some of these players STILL deserve to be sold.
-
Yup. got the last part right. again, not saying jose did not deserve the sack. he did. if you cant pick the right players based on form and performances, if you dont have the balls of dropping players who are playing like they dont give a shit, then you deserve to be sacked. I am not angry about the sacking. i am angry that people are solely putting the blame on jose while players like cesc and costa get to go scott free. not fair, and not good for the club. as for "delibrate shit play". well it cant possibly get any obvious than that. the only other way would have been to actually sit on the ground and not get up the whole match.
-
FUCK positivity. what has positivity brought arsenal? or spurs? sorry, but what we need is boss. a person who is not afraid to make changes, to drop underperforming players, who can smack the players' bottoms and most importantly, we need a strong character. we need jose of 2004. the nearest person to that is simeone.
-
pat nevin. pat fucking nevin said it. now i dont feel he is the best pundit out there. but the guy actually thought that the sun shone out of cesc's ass. sorry, but this is not the time or the way to move on. when you get the cancer, you dont just remove the the cancerous part by surgery and leave it at that. you get your chemo done and remove each and every cancerous cell out of the body, IF you actually want to start fresh. what we have done is the surgery. just the upper layer of the problem. a problem which the more you look at it, the more you feel runs deeper. much deeper. PS - best thing that ever happened to chelsea. dude, i have been bashing jose since the WBA line up came up and even i can see that this is probably the worst decision we could have taken at THIS POINT of time. you said something on the lines of "closing the thread, so that people dont say something they regret later" in the hazard thread. well, i think this should apply to this thread too.
-
are people still going to ignore all that is been said about the players? one common name by ALL sources.
-
bu but but.. no player power
-
but but but.. the players had no role in the sacking and they were completely behind him. now i know what they were doing from behind.
-
i am sorry but i just cant agree. cesc, costa brought nothing to us for the past 4 months. nothing. at some point, you have to give your squad a try. you have to believe in the youth. what if spurs kept playing soldado and never gave kane a chance thinking he would get better. thats just not the way a real world works. you have to take risks, you have to get out of your comfort zone and you have to take that leap of faith. jose did none of these things. we got screwed.
-
costa was droppped for eden. remy was not given a chance to prove himself. cesc was dropped against porto and that was our best performance this year. what was the point of playing cesc against bournemouth afte the performance he put against spurs? the perfect match to start RLC and mould him into the team. and yes, my option is for the underperformers to be dropped and players who give a shit about the like (unlike cesc and costa) to be given a chance. if their replacements are unable to provide an further improvement, then going back is an option. but not the way jose did it. you cant do the same thing a 100 times and then expect a different result. thats not how the real world works. when? will their form pick up? like @curlyhairlikeluiz said, he produced a masterclass for spain and then was hopelessly pitiful for us. why? did his form drop or did his motivation levels along with his desire drop? i am not sure. but just sticking the same players again and again was never going to be the solution.
-
if players can put in such performances and still get the benefit of doubt, while the manager gets the sack, then i pity all the managers. again, not saying jose was faultless and not saying that he did not deserve the sack. but there are WORSE "things" at CFC at the moment.
-
true. this is exactly what jose's judgement was and this is exactly the reason he is sacked. a player is worth investing a time only if they actually show gradual progression or any inclination to actually improve himself and try. both cesc and costa did not, and yet jose contiued playing such under-performing players and got the sack.
-
the players did not give shit about us. thats not a speculation, thats the understatement of the year. the worst thing is that, everyone i know, everyone i talk to can see that except for the chelsea fans on here. my brother is currently in amsterdam. as soon as the hazard thing happened, i got a message from him asking, "what the fuck is going on at chelsea". its that clear to anyone who watches. and i honestly did not have an answer for him. this is not how players who play for the badge perform. this is not how the champions, who are now in relegation zone, and need to put in a performance to save the club and manager perform. if the board wanted to make a decision at THIS moment, it should have been the players who should have got the sack. sell the fucking cunts who dont play for the club in 2 weeks and rebuild. that should have been the way forward. i just cant understand the logic behind sacking jose NOW. with top 4 gone, with league gone, our chances of winning a CL would be 100 times better with jose than with any other manager in the world. how does hiddink know what we need after joining the club on the 20th of december. how? twice we want as for patience. why should i have patience with such players. i am not abusing iva or oscar. these players are average and have their limitations. but players like cesc and costa. sorry, but if anyone deserved a sack, it was these 2.
-
i am not comparing it to AVB. as for the blame, i dont think the board is to blame for the current situation. we could have blamed the board if we were 4th and needed that extra player to take us a level further. being 16th and with 15 points in 16 games with the same squad that walked the league can not be the board's mistake. jose has a lot of blame to take. but hell, the players (a certain of them) have as much blame if not more. yes, chose these players out of some misguided notion of loyalty while sidelining RLC and remy (masssive mistakes), but even then, our squad is more than good enough to be top half of the table. what if the same players, cesc and costa, decided that they dont want to play for hiddink anymore? or for whoever follows hiddink, then what? sack them all? it was not even the case where jose simply froze them out and thus lost. jose still (in his weird way), tried to do the best for the club by playing the "best players". it was upto the players to give their all and play for the club rather than their massive egos. they did not.
-
there is a silver lining to this. we are not getting european football this season. would give us the oppurtunites to really offload some of the mercenaries in the bloody squad.
-
did we really have closure? honestly? jose was not blameless. he did deserve the sack. he made so many mistakes, from the transfers to team selection. his treatment of remy and RLC has been despicable to say the least. and his biggest mistake was trusting his players to come good. can you honestly say that cesc and costa have given their 100%? that they have tried their level best. i am sorry, but from what i have seen, that is just not true. you can say that there was no player power, but everything - from the timing of the sack, the post match against leicester, emenalo's interview gives more than just an indication that there was down to a lot more than just poor results because of poor tactics. sorry, but if jose deserves the sack then so does some of our players. what if they dont feel like playing under hiddink now? or whoever permanently replaces him next season. what then? sack them too?
-
tibo useless1 zouma GC azpi matic cunt1 willian useless-guy2 injured-guy cunt2 you know this is going to be the team.
-
i dont doubt that. i think a select few did. cesc, costa, and maybe hazard. no way can top players can play like championship relegation players. infact, for costa and cesc it should not even be debatable. again, not saying that jose was faultless. still dont understand why he stuck with these players for the longest. but if he deserves the sack, so does those 2.
-
why are you blaming emenalo. he does not look anything more than a mere puppet and a yes man. the real cunts are the players.
