5 things to learn from Newcastle's game
didierforever replied to BLionheart's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
agreed to points except for 1 and 5. the counter attacking style wont always work. for eg- against valencia WE WILL have to take the attack to them rather than hoping to counter off them which wont be easy. so against valencia i feel drogba should play simply because HE CAN SCORE even while playin poorly. plus torres looks a good sub where he can counter and get far more spaces because the mids of the other team is tired. so i feel unitl torres starts putting the ball in the back of the net he should be played as a sub (he could have scored atleast once today). -
out: alex, anelka, kalou, paulo ferreira, josh and lukaku(loan) in: gary cahill, kevin de bryune, alvero perreira and someone from higuain or benzema if real will be willing to sell which i think they will be. in midfield we have lamps, raul, rambo, oriol, mikel and essien will be makin a comeback so gettin a mid fielder should be second to buyin a winger and a center back.

awesome result and for once we can even say awesome victory... it could have been anything from 6-0 to 3-3 but no doubt that we were the better team and deserved to win. next up is valencia and playing luiz will be nothin short of suicide. that guy seems to forget what common sense is sometimes. so easily could have been a red and a disastorous day for us.
-
need all the creativity we have to win this one and i dont think we should go for anything else than a win before the valencia match. so my team would be cech;iva alex terry cole; ramires romeu raul;mata drogba sturridge. i would love to see sturridge as the striker but that would leave the right wing as an option for anelka or kalou who are not at all match fit so i would rather go with these 3 up front.

now that is what i am talking about... STURIDDGE

come on chelsea... come on captain marvel... (the tide is changing guys, our good times are near)
-
i seriously dont expect any statements to be made today. we should just go out there, play safe, and get a 1-0 or a 2-0 win. no need to go all guns blazing and then fall a goal behind or some other shit. but there are 2 things that we should get out of this match 1) 3 points, 2) a clean sheet. if we dont that either one of them, it wont do us any good at all. so COME ON CHELSEA
-
5 months is enough?????? obviously sir alex ferguson won every match after taking reins on manu or was their first league title some 5 or 6 years after. dont ask childish questions. 5 months is no time to judge a manager who got a squad already in the twilight and low on form. plus what time includes without saying is "TRUST" which we hardly have shown him. just 2 months ago he was the next great thing according to all of us and after some 5-6 matches he is just another dud??? seriously i dont even feel like answering these silly qualms or yours.

and definitely in all the world there is only one person to be blamed, is it not so? accepted that he is the coach and the head of the team and is supposed to make it right. but as i see it avb has tried everything or atleast a number of permutation and combinations in the attack and mid to mix it up and keep it from gettin stale but nothin seems to be workin at the moment. its not his fault that our defense seems to be almost willing to concede goals in the last month : luiz with a stupid penalty against qpr, terry with his slip against arsenal, mikel stupidly caught in possession 20 yards from the goal against pool. take these 3 goals out and we draw or may even have gone to win one or 2 of them. and when one part of the team does not seem to be functionin properly it definitely affects the others too. our defense bein in shambles maybe the reason of our mid fielders to not to over commit themselves. frankly speaking i dont have a clue what is wrong but to blame it all on one person is nothing short of stupid. the squad as a whole seems to be failing and we need to accept that rather than finding scape goats.

despite of all the shitty play and things happening, i will remain positive. did not inter milan win ucl in 2009-10 after coming second. we are not in a good moment but that does not mean that we should sack our managers. it seems to me that we have become so accustomed to sacking a manager that whatever bad happens is directly blamed on him. GIVE AVB SOME TIME. plus as i said i will stay positive and hopeful. sometimes such do or die matches can turn the seasons around, maybe the match against valencia will be one such match. lets just keep HOPE.

one for this post : RUBBISH
-
cech ivanovic alex terry ferreira meireles romeu sturridge lampard mata torres i really want to see this team play. ps- no cole for this match please.
-
first half was absolutely hopeless and second half was no better. jt was slow, mid was non existent and cole was mind numbingly pathetic. the fact that malouda was the best player for chelsea on the pitch (and he was no good) shows how we played. bertrand should be given more time so should be romeu. if we are going to concede just fucking soft goals (1st goal against manu, 4th against arsenal and 1st today), we might as well give mceachran , bertrand , lukaku , sturridge and romeu a chance. atleast they will play with a little fire and passion wen a goal stupid goal down than these 11 players(maybe not iva). just sad by the performance. winning and losing is a part of the game but just fuckin givin up is definitely not. anyways this loss pretty much ends any hopes of the title so i think we should go all out in the carling cup. and by all out i mean giving these guys(youngsters) plus the players who actually give a crap about chelsea, a chance. i hope we dont lose 3 consecutive home games to liverpool. i might as well stop watchin football.
-
ohh. sorry mate just get a bit toushy when it comes to drogs.
-
i hope you mean the 4 matches this season otherwise it would not make any sense saying that drogba keeps sulking around because he cant put the ball in the net. if i remember correctly he had 15 assists ( second only to nani) compared to 11 goals last season. does not seem to be the stat of a "sulking and uncaring person"
-
atlast watched the whole match. got to say this : its not torres' miss that hurts but his sulking and uncaring attitude which really hurts. just awful.
-
the only reason we are happy becoz is that we won. also we kept a clean sheet. it was not a good performance but if by any chance we had lost points then it would have been disastorous with chels going 4 matches without a win. now look at manu after there 6-1 drubbing they have grinded out 2 bad 1-0 wins just to get that loss out of their system. i think we should have done the same thing against genk instead of trying to prove a point and going confusedly all out in attack. anyways be happy mate, we won, could have been a lot worse
-
i think we are being highly critical and unfair to rambo. his game has improved a hundred fold from the moment we had bought him and is still improving. his passing has improved, his shots are now on target but his finishing needs some work. but you have to give credit where its due. ramires' speed n relentless running has him as the center of most of our counters, his positional play is good enough that he can get 1 on 1 with a keeper plus now he even does saves goals off the line. calling him a chihuahua is absolutely unacceptable.
-
worst post ever.
-
wow... we actually kept a clean sheet. good 3 points to have
-
fucked up cable n fucked up net. just got to see the score. can someone please tell me wats been happenin (in a little detail).
