I just hope that lampard's goes out the proper and respectful way. Its hard to play 90 minutes at 33 and to play 2 games in 2 weeks was not a very wise decision from AVB. I HOPE lamp is used as a sub or is rotated and used properly along with josh. i dont want people crying for his head and hoping he is "off-loaded". That would be shameful.

If clubs can buy roberto carlos at the age of 38 there might be club who would be willing to take their chances with anelka and kalou. But i dont understand the point of keeping kalou in the squad and "off-loading" malouda. That is just unacceptable.

Why are we selling malouda when we have options to sell kalou and anelka? Malouda might not be the best winger iin the world but he can definitely contribute (same goes with anelka), but kalou is just pathetic. No growth , no development we should just sell him to tottenham, I think they will buy any striker in the world at the moment.

drogba(that is what i always hope), mata, anelka; josh,mikel,ramires; cole, jt, iva, jose If we get a cushion then sub lukaku for drogba and torres for anelka and just maybe romeu for mikel and change to 4-4-2 to support torres... but i dont think mata in any circumstances would get to play 90 minutes...

no doubt that kalou should not have started but what happened was just cruel... i hope this acts as a catalyst for kalou to prove himself rather than just giving another public statement that he does not get enough time on pitch..

what u are talkin is the final ball but except for that what i ve seen of torres is that his movement is very less which makes him easier to mark...

no doubt i am biased n i accept u r right... but takin off a player in the 30 th minute is demeenin... probably half time would ve been better tats all i am sayin... if we are goin to keep kalou for another season, we ll ve to play him some time or another but this was just not the way to go...

we ve rated the players on their performance but what about AVB.... 1) Started with kalou. 2)Substitued kalou at 32 mins.(however bad kalou maybe playin but he still needs to be shown some respect. what avb did was embarassing and demoralising to any player in the world. this is definitely not the way to get the best out of a player) 3)Played lampard whole 90 mins again. 4)Did not sustitute torres earlier(well started with torres can be another point). {5) Some might say that giving alex a preference over iva was another mistake but after his stoke performance i would definitely have gone with alex.}

first of all i hope u dont forget tat lampard should ve won a penalty at stoke for us... today too he had a penalty appeal right before the goal... it was his first touch tat saw anelka thru n one on one wid foster tat he screwed... i m not arguin tat lamps has gone way below his best n tat he should be used more as a sub than bein played 90 mins every week but to say tat lamps does not give anythin in the mid is a foolish statement to say the least...

for me drogba pushin the ball away n wastin some precious seconds(foster's last kick of the match) is a bigger thing then goin past 2 defenders n then instead of puttin a thru ball to a player just losin the ball to a 3rd defender...

drogba did as much in 30 mins as torres did in 60... at least he can keep a move goin by playin it to another player instead of just losin the ball or fallin down in vain...

scrappy win to sum up the match... individually every1 was far from even good(except jose n ramires)... lamps was at his best when he was playin closer to the wba D n showin us his true class with first touches(but he has really become slow)... anelka was poor but lucky... torres was invisible... i dont think we should play mikel this match... but instead of playin our 4-3-3 we should try 4-2-3-1 (which we did against kitchee in pre season)... so jose-alex-terry-cole;lampard-josh; ramires,benayoun,anelka;drogba.... jose chosen ahead of iva because i feel we wont be doin much defendin and with 2 holdin we would be havin enough cover...
