precisely. even more reason for lamps to get some game time before the start of the season. lamps will play the role of a super-sub this season and might be needed as early as OT or in SUPER-CUP. do u really want him to play a pro game with no game time. also as u said that jose should start with the 1st team that he plans to play against roma (i feel he will do that), then today's game was even more crucial for lamps to get a good work out. the result dint matter. it wont matter in a day's time because its in-consequential. also the point was for lamps to get a decent workout which was obvious would happen only in the 1st half and both teams would start making subs in the 2nd half which normally means no tempo/momentum to the game.

i know he is good but not that good.
-
because jose took this match for exactly what it was - A PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY which is played with the purpose of getting our players to full fitness. lamps had not played in any of the games and his performance and fitness showed exactly why HE SHOULD HAVE STARTED THE GAME.
-
the only think good about today's match was our pivot, ie, rambo-mvg. defence was poor, attack was non-existent.

^^^^ HILARIOUS comment... LOL MAX...

oh dear!!! i simply cant understand how a CB in cahill's position could have been backing away from marcelo at that position. very poor.
-
any1 have any idea y there was no mata?
-
the most disappointing aspect of the 2nd half was inspite of having a good share of possession, we simply did not have any penetration. moses was hugging the line and kdb/essien changed the play towards him but there was no run in the box, and no movement around him. hazard was piss poor today on so many different levels. definitely need mata.
-
we need DIDIER DROGBA. as simple as that. and for fucks sake how the hell is iva supposed to mark both marcelo and ronaldo. can one of our midfielders get to help ive out.
-
its been 35 minutes out of 45 of his alloted i suppose. but until now i expected more of him, especially against RMs weakest link.

so did i say he should not be started ever again. what is wrong with stating a fact of the match. hazard defensively has been great but has been very sluggish on the ball and probably has lost the ball every time he has touched it. or are we supposed to only praise hazard no matter what.
-
hazard has been poor.

COME ON RAMBO!!!!

there is no way liverpool will finish in top 6 this season. 1. chelsea 2. man city 3. tottenham 4. united 5. arsenal. 6. swansea 7. everton 8. liverpool 9. southampton - wanyama with schneiderlin is goin to be fun to watch. top 10 finish in my opinion with the likes of lallana, ramirez, lampbert too. . . . . 18. stoke city - i have full faith in mark hughes as a football manager to push stoke out of PL 19. crystal palace. 20. hull city

i have not seen madrid under ancelotti. any idea how they are playing? under jose real were playing in a very similar style to what we have played in the last 2 games. decent possession football, direct play but extremely lethal on counter-attacks. infact that is jose's MO, i feel. be it inter, real, chelsea (past) and chelsea (present). i want to see how the pivot of rambo-mvg would fare against the sheer class of cr/kaka-ozil/isco-maria/illaramendi. oscar will have to double up to make our 4-2-3-1 into 4-3-3. flanked by hazard and moses, i feel we would be a good threat on the counters. also want to see how azpi fares against cr. lukaku up ahead as he would get a lot of space behind the RM defence. luiz should start if fit coupled with JT and cole. the 2nd half would be difficult as i just cant see how mikel-essien pivot would be able to deal with RM's mid. also mata's defence liabilities thru the center and on the right wing (ronaldo's) would not help the cause but i ll take my chances with iva vs cr. BA upfront against the likes of pepe and ramos would barely provide us with anything special, so for once i ll prefer torres. i expect a high intensity match with both teams (and coaches) out there to prove a point. 1st half - cech; azpi, luiz, jt, cole; rambo, white-rambo; moses, oscar, hazard; lukaku. 2nd half - schwarzer; iva, cahill, luiz, bert; mikel, essien; mata, kdb, schurlle; torres.
-
i would give him a 10 year extension with my eyes closed. what a legend. what a player.
-
did he have buyers? i am sure we would have sold him for a pound if any team had actually put that bid but the point was flo dint want a pay-cut and it dint matter to him if he was benched/relegated to reserves on the other hand rooney wants out just because he is being benched and is not the no.1, very different scenarios.
-
simply wont make a difference. there is only one-way rambo plays and it is FULL THROTTLE.

mvg is like "WHAT???"

Chelsea FC sign 18-year-old Stipe Perica

high potential??? even if this guy has a high potential, our "signings" which do make it to the first team/squad are those which are already proven. lukaku - immense potential, 1st striker at the age of 17 for anderlecht, belgian NT call up. hazard - french ligue player of the season twice. oscar - brazilian no.10, do i need to say more. this is the kind of potential needed make it to our team. this is nothing but a signing for the youth team (as has been said above) and nothing else. i dont know how you expect him to make it here, i mean people are still doubtful about lukaku after he scored 17 goals for wba. -

seriously!!!!! lukaku had 41 goals for anderlecht , and was one of the hottest properties. kdb - had manhandled our defenders for genk and had 17 goals plus 36 assists for them and you want to put this unknown striker in the same category as these players?? also please dont confuse this signing with the likes of kdb, mvg, oscar, hazard signings. given that these guys were signed at the age of 20-21 but each of them was/is more than ready to be a part of our first team. -
