  1. started well, with his run but then lost the ball, many times. his performance was characterised by the last move of the day for us when he mind bogglingly chose to cut in and try to pass in the center at 92 minuted 20 seconds rather than just pass the ball to iva who could have crossed in or got a corner or something. his loosing the ball and then not even trying the fall back for the last move of the game, should tell us exactly of his comitement to the team. he is past it, the sooner we accept it, the better.
  2. dude, sometimes you have to go against your basic nature and do something really unexpected of you. last night was one of those nights. we went to OT, got a clean sheet and one-point. not many teams are going to be able to do that. or do you want us to become arsenal and try and play good football with no thought about the result. 38 matches are a lot and you will be entertained on most of the occasions, but jose did what was good for the team in the long run, and that is get a point at OT, not give moyes his first win at OT, leave united and united fans still unsure about themselves before going to face POOL at anfield.
  3. good result, brilliant tactics, poor team selection and and awful match. cant understand why people are crying over the game. united are unsure of themselves and today could have been a make or break day for them. jose did the right thing by making united take the onus and take the bait rather than going all guns blazing. united's next match is POOL away and 2 weeks later city away. if they had won today, it would have gone a long long way in calming their nerves. while jose's tactics were good, his team selection was poor. there is no point of playing rambo if you are not going to use his running. rambo played a very mikel game, barely out of our own half and just for winning the ball back/marking rooney. mikel would and should have been a better choice. lukaku should have started as a striker. with cech pinting the ball from the goalkicks, there was no way schurrle was beating vidic to it. lukaku would have been a much much greater threat. here is my player analysis - cech - good game. dint put a foot wrong and barely had anything to do. the rooney stop was brillaint. 8/10 ivanovic - solid. dint let evra/welbeck run behind him and also covered the cbs well. 7/10 cahill - good performance. but again instead of putting tackles, he prefers putting in blocks (rooney just at the edge of box). will cost us big. 7/10 JT - WALL. what a performance. brilliant in the air. dint let rvp turn if he received the ball with his back to the goal. simply flawless performance. 10/10 cole - good performance. covered hazard really well. dint let valencia cross the ball rather play it back to jones. tried to do something in the attack (unlike iva) but could not make a difference. 7.5/10 ramires - this has to be one of his worst performances in the chelsea blue. dont think any of his forward passes were correct in the 1st half. let rooney run the game easily. missed marking late runs on a number of occasions and even let people run around him instead of putting a tackle. very unlike RAMBO. 4/10 lampard - slow on the ball. got closed down by cleverly on a number of occasions. dint do much for the attack but was much better defensively than rambo. 6/10 hazard - what is wrong with this guy. among every1 who was been a part of the team in this season's 3 matches, he has definitely had the worst start to this season. valencia OWNED him. the number of times he lost the ball to a valencia tackle was simply countless. the only time he got into the game was in the last 15 minutes when valencia got subbed. very poor decision making too, when choosing to single-handedly taken on jones and valencia rather than pass the ball. 5/10 oscar - good game. man-marked carrick out of the game. had to play cam as well as a deep lying playmaker. could have done more in some of the counters we had. without our best attacking player on the pitch. 7/10 kdb - simply could not assert himself. covered evra's runs very well. was good defensively but gave nothing in our attacks. also playing him on the wings is equivalent to playing mata on the wings. there is no width. 6/10 schurrle - he might not have won any headers, or taken any shot on the goal, or even provided any threat but his workrate is commendable. full of running and closing down, be it on the wing or as a striker. provided some width to us deep in the 2nd half which sometimes did stretch united but simply could not take on evra twice. good performance overall. 7/10 torres - started well, with his run but then lost the ball, many times. his performance was characterised by the last move of the day for us when he mind bogglingly chose to cut in and try to pass in the center at 92 minuted 20 seconds rather than just pass the ball to iva who could have crossed in or got a corner or something. his loosing the ball and then not even trying the fall back for the last move of the game, should tell us exactly of his comitement to the team. he is past it, the sooner we accept it, the better. 5/10 mikel, azpilicueta - not enough time to write about.
  4. why lampard? why no lukaku? why why why??? damn it jose...
  5. forget cech, i seriously dont think de gea is any better than thibaut...
  6. nonsense. as simple as that. moses put in briliant performances against united, arsenal and in general was one of the best players in the league in the last month or so of the 2011-12 season. we had already splashed out cash to get oscar, hazard, azpi, marin. what we had needed at that moment was a squad player who would fill in the quota of the HG player and wont be costly at all. moses for 7mil was a GOOD DEAL. his transfer had nothing to do with the fact that he and emanalo are nigerian. a lot of weird and absolutely rubbish opinions are posted on this forum but yours in beyond comparision.
  7. lukaku, ginkel are 20 and pretty much should be considered as youth.
  8. what a massive head start it would be... win this game and wooooooohhhhhhhhhhhooooooooo... exactly the kind of campaign mou likes...
  9. continously ridiculing posters does not make you look as the most pious supporter though. people ARE different. some can easily accept a thing and move on while the others would like to hold on to that something as long as they can. but name-calling and ridiculing and specially doubting the "fans'" credibility is no way to answer or argue here specially when that something WILL turn out to be the one of the biggest and the most obvious mistakes we have made.
  10. its not that difficult. judging by the way you ridicule and abuse any1 who does not agree with you around here, and your OTT attitude about being the only or the best chelsea fan ever, i seriously CAN imangine how the conversations would go. ps - see an argument can be made what calling some1 a cunt, or telling them to "fuck off to other forums".
  11. again, i dint start it, you are the one who came up with the word, so i just went with the flow. as for you talking with other chelsea supporters about chelsea, i can imagine how that conversation would go.
  12. why? because i praised sturridge for his goal last night. seems legit. what an ass.
  13. oh , i think you are the one who actually started the name-calling be it in this thread or the sturridge thread, so dont try to act as the poor-innocent victim here. give me a shout out when u can get off your high horse and except chelsea has more than one fan. unfortunately that would require you to be more mature, so i wont bet on it.
  14. i did read it, but the level of stupidty and idiotism were just massive in it. so i tried to make a look a little bit smart - not much, but a bit. ps- suprised you dint have a , in your post. TOPTB is growing up?
  15. the only place to be with his classic ... what are you 10? supposedly you are a wanker, so just love the bloody smiley, right wanker? those kdb and oscar thru balls were a point in a very civilised argument with another poster who said we dont put any incisive thru ball and that not our style. but why am i wasting my time explaining anything to the most massive arrogant, pompous cunt on the forum.
  16. RDM, no way... infact the only game he benched torres, he got fired. this was a board and roman decision thru and thru,
  17. i dont think any1 is forcing you to log on and personally i d be happy to not read your "i am the only one who watches chelsea matches while others are just pieces of shit who dont care about chelsea" posts. its getting old and irritating to say the least. so as you said it "its the same fucking shit from the same fucking people". ps - the guy who called torres a blonde cunt has been called out by 3-4 people here, not every1 is insulting torres, some just want to praise sturridge.
  18. http://videa.hu/vide...tC?start=228.44 watch mata play sturridge in twice (and there was another chance which is not shown in the clip). its on sturridge's movement and run. on the other hand not a single thru ball is to be seen played by us in this highlight because i remember torres playing as a ST while danny on the wing for about 60 minutes of the match after which he was taken out for mata and danny played as a CF. the difference is clearly visible.
  19. We don't play the incisive ball through that Sturridge depends on. Why doesn't Torres have only one shot against Hull? Why did Ba not get a clear cut chance on goal? Simple reasons. Chelsea's transition from defense to attack involves strikers only linking up with the creative midfielders and creating space for others. Not going clean through on goal. Plus we can always talk about his selfishness with ball. That might be good for another team, but we'd like a striker that would pass. http://videa.hu/videok/zene/west-brom-2-1-chelsea-v-0ovjF4hpVe384itC?start=228.44 watch mata play sturridge in twice (and there was another chance which is not shown in the clip). its on sturridge's movement and run. on the other hand not a single thru ball is to be seen played by us in this highlight because i remember torres playing as a ST while danny on the wing for about 60 minutes of the match after which he was taken out for mata and danny played as a CF. the difference is clearly visible.
  20. is that the reason we are buying ROONEY. just to drag defenders away. jose has already said what the problem is with our striker and sturridge is very very different from anything we have got. also how does 2 matches constitute what we play. what did DD/anelka thrive on. i remember so many instances of the ball being played behind the defences for our strikers, we dont do that anymore because our strikers dont play that way and that is what JOSE is lookig to change. mata was unfit, but to say MATA does not play the incisive ball is UNBELIEVABLE to me. mata thrives on it and i actually cant understand how anyone can say that. again we play the incisive ball to the midfielders because our midfielders are far more fluid in their movement than the strikers we have got. i dont actually think that our players look at the particular player who is taking the run, decide that its the striker that is doing so and then say wait , i should only put an incisive thru ball to one of the midfielders. the fact that u say that the thru ball WAS played is proof enough that we do play the thru ball and its our striker's run and movements which stop us from being direct. also we were playing the long balls because that is what BA wanted. he was playing on the defender's shoulders the whole match. it was definitely our plan to play that way otherwise i dont understand why we would have been hoofing the ball to him all thru the match. so why wont those offsides be counted. it was pretty obvious what BA was trying to do that match. newcaslte is a mid-table team which have 50% of the ball compared to our 70%. when teams play chelsea (home or away), they just try to park the bus at the 18 yard line where as against newcaslte it is far from the truth. result for chelsea BA would not get half the space and time that he would get at newcastle. u cant expect chelsea and newcastle to play the same game when the opposition is with a compltely different mindset.
  21. if people dont wanna talk about sturridge then why cant the FUCK they just stay off the STURRIDGE THREAD, because surprisingly in the sturridge thread people are going to talk about sturridge, just like in the mata thread we talk about mata, or in the hazard thread we talk about hazard. also please should stop with the same old "why dont some members FUCK OFF to the RAWK" joke because its not funny and its got too old. my suggestion is if you dont wanna talk about sturridge then STAY THE FUCK OUT. no one mentioned you in their posts, and thus its not NECESSARY of you to post something and tell other members to FUCK OFF to liverpool forums.
