i dont get it... what is the point of swansea being better than united and getting blown out. which first team player is not their? podolski was not a first team player of arsenal even when they had gervinho and arshaving and now with ozil coming it is almost hopeless for him. walcott has barely missed a couple of matches arteta - ramsey has so far been their player of the season, so they would hardly be complaining. the only player that i would consider injured who is first team would be cazorla. but playing cazorla-ozil-walcott in the front 3 will be suicidal and even wenger wont try that. all 3 have no defensive responsibilities and with arsenal's defence it would create havoc. plus whose to say that cazorla would even work on the wings. so evrton had 3 draws before our game makes them less of competitors? so if sunderland wins against pool tomorrow. then united are playing away to sunderland in their next match and with 2 back to back defeats, it would make sunderland the favourites, right? i mean everton have always been game-raisers. they might not be able to win every match against the worst of the teams but u can bet they will take points off every top 5 team at goodison park. and that is why goodison park is considered to be one of the worst venues in PL. moreover we are 4 points behind arsenal with them barely having played any1. fulham and sunderland are relegation material. stoke away from home is shit. also last year we did a double over those anals, so they barely trouble me.

ramsey is having a proper purple patch and arsenal are simply scrapping results at the moment. getting lucky, for eg- tottenham game and sunderland game. they have played one sure top 10 team so far and that too at home. we have played united (a), tot(a) and everton (a) - last year only one team won at goodison park and that was chelsea,united lost 1-0 on opening day, city lost 2-0 to 10 men everton. so how are u including everton in the debate as a thing against chelsea is beyond me.

u cant expect someone who has played just 45 minutes in the whole pre-season, coming out of an injury to start the season with a bang. i think mata's absence had a lot to do with his match-fitness and physical fitness which just got blown out of proportion by every1.

he was our best option for today. even i thought he ll pose problems for walker. but instead of chelsea winning the battle of the left wing, and midfielder players like paulinho and dembele getting pulled off to help on the left wing, we actually lost the wing to townsend. he WAS the more threatening player and seemed far more likely to get himself involved in a goal somehow. and THAT is what should not have happened.

this performance should pretty much settle the debate. oscar simply is not on the same plane as mata when it comes to creativity. against big teams u need to score goals to win matches because good teams will find a way to score against u. so the only question we need to ask ourselves is, do we have what it takes to score 2 goals against big teams like united, city, arsenal, pool, tottenham, everton, without mata. the answer is pretty much clear to me. a BIG NO.

hazard has been bad for the last 7 games. mata played on the RW, oscar played on the LW and hazard played thru the center thru out the 2nd half and that was when we had our best spell. a player's preferred position is not the only position he can play. u can play giggs in the center mid against the likes of suarez, sturridge, moses and still keep a clean sheet and win the match.

yes, how well he played was so obvious with the kind of drubbing we were taking in the first half, when our best chance was oscar's volley out of the D and lampard shot out of the D. he wants to be the best player in the world, he wants to be an unchallenged starter for a team like chelsea, then this is the kind of criticism and the expectations he deserves. we dont have a good striker (forget about world class), we dont have a good deep-mid, and yet we have to make it all up with our AMs. so i am not gonna get into a debate with some1 who feels hazard played well today and that hazard has been good just because "he's created most chances" when any1 who has seen hazard play this season and the last can see the huge difference in the plays.
