starting for germny in WC 2010 and RM soon after,,, so??? there was no competition. germany at that point dint have a proper no.10. muller was barely out of his diapers. kroos was not starting xi material, gotze and reus were still playing for youth teams. so who exactly was his competition. u must be kidding when u say RM, right? i mean are we supposed to take an always injured and past his prime, who does not even make his NT anymore kaka as his competition. tell me another good cam. all i remember is granero and canales. thats competition???
-
its espn. barbara's sites show the stat inclusive of his NT stat. and last year he had 12 assists and 5 goals for germany itself. plus my other site is the official RM site. dont think they would get it wrong.

better lucky than sorry and crying. FT must be doing something wrong when everything he throws at the goalie is saved. the argument was not even that. u need to go and read what i wrote. i dont believe lukaku would have solved our problems magically. but i do want the credit to be given where it is due. lukaku scores a header and wins the game for everton and some1 takes a dig at him saying "born to play for mid-table teams". and today he took another one, so that is when i quoted stats, and that is why i am saying, what use is his loan if what he does there does not mean anything? as for the other argument about lukaku struggling against solid defences, if torres can have 2 and a half year, ba can have half a year, and etoo can have 4 starts, then lukaku atleast warrants one professional start for CFC before we start saying he cant do this or do that.

http://metro.co.uk/2013/09/13/mesut-ozil-didnt-have-strength-to-fight-for-real-madrid-place-says-zinedine-zidane-3982276/ http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1551302/zinedine-zidane-mesut-ozil-left-real-madrid-lack-fight want me to find more sites with the same news? seems people cant accept the truth, and since this was not the WC final and the fact that he dint head butt any reporter in the PC there, i think its safe to assume that zidane is right or due u think he loses his cool 24*7 because he lost his cool once. also i would rather accept what zidane says than the "FIBS AND STORIES" about how ozil wanted money but his dad blah blah blah...

u got me wrong. i always wondered why u had such u soft spot for FT . thats is it.

so suddenly arsenal is better than chelsea. and pray tell me how did germany get better players than spain? just because they have won the CL? podolski still starts ahead of reus/gotze/muller whenever he is fit and that has got nothing to do, with him being being better than any of them. its what loew prefers. mata would not touch germany because he does not need to. he is a WC winner, EURO winner, CL and EL winner compared to what? copa del ray. but yes, ozil is better just because he is germany's no.10. (brilliant argument). and as a person above pointed out, does that make isco better than ozil???
-
he scored a goal against roma. tell me how many of them has torres, etoo and ba done that this season? tell me why could not they do that. when u r talking about a striker u have to be taking first into the consideration his goal. look at DD day before yesterday. his overall performance -POOR. but got a goal, got an assist. and gala went home with a point from turin. so yes, that is justified. deflection or no deflection. RM defended with numbers against us in that preseason???really?? do u remember the rambo goal? it was a pre-season match with pretty much their back 4 against our top 3.so lets not get ahead ourselves here. so now he cant handle the situation? ehhh??? because u saw him not play well in an international match, that is just great.well most belgians think kdb is better than hazard, lets agree to that too. did u see the newcastle game? what tactic do u think newcastle came with against everton in goodison park?but they were ripped apart by this guy, and his link up play with mirallas and barkley. and how conveniently u choose to ignore the milans-argument. simply not worth the time and effort
-
i have given the stats above. please do take a look. also bear in mind that ozil is "assisting" to CR while mata has to do that to torres. please tell me how ozil is a whole different level???
-
we were 0-1 down when torres was playing in the first half. we won the match 2-1 with lukaku on the pitch, with lukaku grabbing the winner. and somehow u r using that against lukaku. the real match, lukaku was poor. but i dont think u can even count RM for your argument. your argument is he struggles with teams that play DEEP. except for barca, i dont think any defensive plays higher. and in that match, he struggled to link up with eden and oscar. and dont forget it was lamps' first pre-season match and we were struggling badly in the first half. against ac milan, lukaku played the 2nd half when we were 1-0 up. i would like to jog your memory here a little. the 2nd half was totally open. with schurlle scoring in extra-time but missing some absolute sitters on the way. lukaku was pretty decent. and again, he played when we were countering. against inter milan lukaku was real good. i remember him hitting the post and creating chances. i dont know what u meant when u said he did NOTHING. we probably watched a lot of different games. as for the belgium argument, let me get this straight, we should not use lukaku's stats and performances for wba and everton but his substitute performance for belgium when he replaces benteke is a valid argument!!! seriously dont think thats fair. we can agree to disagree, but honestly speaking i dont mind agreeing with something that i disagree with IF i am actually wrong. i seriously doubt that is the case here. we are sending lukaku on loan to see if he has what it takes to lead a line, be the no.1 striker (and to develop/improve). and when he is showing us that he can score goals and actually win matches for a team, we are simply discrediting his work by saying "its not the same". then tell me what is the point of the loan itself? then just let him play for our under21/reserves team because they will play as many matches as everton would in a season (38 +1 carling cup+ 3? fa cup) + he can play all our carling cup, fa cup and ucl dead rubber matches.

i know. lukaku had to go to a loan. it was a reply to the @etarod (or some1) who has been on lukaku's case for sometime now. even after lukaku's first goal for everton (the header), he took a cheap shot at him, saying, "some players are born to play for mid-table clubs". after his 2nd dig today. i simply could not control myself.
-
how do u know??? he has played 3 games with us this season, all as subs.lets take a look, at what point he has played for us 2-0 against hull city, when hull city were actually looking better than us except for the first 15 minutes. 2-1 against villa, brought in to waste time and counter rather than break a defence that was playing deep. 2-1 against bayern munich with 10 men and barely even looking to attack. if u making this statement on his pre-season performance, then he has 5 goals when we were trying to break down teams compared to i think 0 each from torres and ba. so how r u and most of the people here, making that assumption is beyond me.

for the sake of comparison, lets do it, ozil : games played assists goals scored 2010-11 : 53 25 10 2011-12 : 52 24 07 2012-13 : 52 29 10 overall 157 78 27 mata : 2011-12 : 54 20 12 2012-13 : 64 35 20 overall : 118 55 32 so goals ozil is involved in is 105 in 157 matches at 0.67 goals/match for RM for mata it is 87 goals in 118 matches at 0.73 goals/match for CHELSEA, so make what u have to of it. ps - by the way is any of u think that is unfair, lets take mata's 2010-11 season with valencia 43 games played, 9 goals scored and 15 assists. so it changes to 111 in 161 at 0.69 goals/match. still better than ozil's. ENJOY!!!!

as much as i agree with what u WANT to say, the example u have given is not the most apt one. welbeck just sucks man...
-
i actually dont remember the debate but do get the point u r making. flash is a "she"??? ooohhh... well that explains a lot...
-
critisize??? people were too chicken to even state their opinion. when he gave his idiotic version of squad comparision, people actually agreed with it. i remember @flash got in a fight with him over cech and de gea comparision, and instead of backing our own fan and backing what should be a fact, people actually sided with that cunt. was un-believable. ps-i ll ignore the rest of my post because it seems u have some issues with cicero
-
they are only 6 months apart. mata is born on 24th april 1988 (my mum's b-day, talk about things meant to be) and ozil is october 15th 1988. these stats are probably before mata turned 25 because now he has played 124 matches for us. so the stats probably are not wrong.

suit your self. continue with the negativity. meanwhile, i ll keep my blind faith in the best manager in the world and trust him to know what the right thing is. #KTBFFH.

because our strikers are scoring ,,, no no, wait,,, banging in goals for fun right??? tell me exactly how many goals have our strikers scored this season in 6 PL games? try to give credit where credit is due. lukaku is playing GOOD football. he has been brilliant for everton. u would know that, if u had seen the newcastle game. he was phenomenal in the first half. brilliant link up play with with barkley and mirallas. simply killed newcastle with it. was brilliant in his hold-up play. and most importantly scored goals and took chances that came his way. he covered brilliantly for mirallas a couple of times when mirallas left coleman stranded against goufran and cabaye, worked his socks off thru out the match. to top it all off- he dint go on to insult chelsea in any way, did he? so dont get why the "keep his mouth shut" part is even there. dont even get me started on where lukaku is or should be at the moment.
-
lukaku scored 17 goals with wba - but its just wba, so who cares. lukaku has scored 3 goals in 2 matches, with one assist for everton, but that is useless too since its only everton so tell me , lukaku-hater, what exactly should lukaku do to get into the chelsea team, while constantly being away from chelsea and being on loans? really waiting for your reply.
-
your points are the same as the previous post. for rooney- there was no other WC striker available. cavani, falcao, lewa, rvp, aguero. only who was, was rooney and i have already given my view point on why it was not a waste of time, and that there was still a lot of point to pursue rooney. next year, we might let go off all the 3 strikers we have right now and still be in search for a WC striker. but who?? i dont see any1 except rooney coming for less than 40mil. but with rooney, with only 1 year left on his contract, and with chelsea being interested for more than a year, we might be able to snatch him. do u actually think jose dint want lukaku. i mean why would a manager send out a 20-year old striker against bayern munich with just 10 men, if he dint have faith in him? or even why would jose let him take the all important last penalty??? that shows faith. but jose knew that lukaku with 3 other strikers would not get one-fourth of the time that he would now get at everton. hence he took the decision. ba is jose's responsibility but i dont think jose personally makes phone-calls to clubs and agents. he had made it clear long before the deadline day that ba was not in his top 3 out of the crop of 4 strikers we had. but the board were unable to get the deals done. what can jose do then? for me, mata's defensive liabilities have decreased exponentially. infact he is doing his job defensively as good as oscar, be it against swindon, tottenham and bucuresti. i mean compare this mata to the mata that played against basel. he gave away the ball which led to the corner, and dint fall back. he gets benched against fulham and then comes back with a vengence and a point to prove. maybe jose dint do anything to him, but if he can keep players motivated, then its good enough for me.
-
jose pursued rooney, hoping rooney himself will come out and put in a transfer request. (i remember jose saying the exact same thing after united game.) such a big transfer is not so easy to happen. we played all our cards, but simply could not force the issue with rooney. defo, not waste of time. we might still end up getting rooney next year for a cut-price (just one year left on his contract). we had made it very clear that we wanted to unload ba. jose put his trust in a 20 year old boy to lead 10 men against the champions of europe, goes to show how much trust he had in lukaku and what he thought of ba. so u cant complain he dint try. moreover its the board's responsibility to quicken the pace of a transfer. for me jose made his call to the board known very early (remember even west ham wanted ba in mid-august). so there is no way u should blame jose for the ba-scenario. if u want to blame any1, it has to be the board. was etoo needed? i dont think so. but that was jose's call. the jury is still out on it. and for chelsea's sake, lets hope he made the right call. seriously??? when was the last time or for that matter anytime when u have seen mata stop a counter.
-
loanS??? come on... it was just one loan. and lets give him the benefit of the doubt here. we were not able to find a loan for ba. only one that was, was arsenal, and with ozil already there, ba would have been a decent acquisition. i mean look at them now. giroud is in top form but when he has his lean patch, the next best thing they have got is SIR NICKLAS BENDTNER. giving them ba would have been suicidal. plus keeping 4 strikers for a definite 1 striker play would not be very good too and would have limited lukaku's oppurtunities to bare minimum. now, dont get me wrong. i too feel that lukaku is the best striker of the 4 we have, but it was a decision that had to be made. something had to be sacrificed, and unfortunately it was lukaku. also except for that mou's "dealings" in the transfer market and with the players have been good. look at mata. mou definitely has got inside mata's head, and mata is playing way more solidly than he has in 2 years (by solidly, i mean defensively).
-
well, what can 2 weeks do to u. from being on the "fringes" to coming back to the team with a BANG. and to think that some people were even doubting mata's creditibilty. with "term X" (i think) asking if mata even brought anything to the team cos "he does not have pace, cant dribble, so what is he good for".... others were asking questions of "how long will mata's past year acheievements, get him a place in the team", like somehow the previous season suddently became pre-historic times, also at that point mata had a total of 2 starts since his "past year achievements" and then their were people who were so blind with oscar-love and oscar getting into the first team, that i felt that they simply dint even want mata to come back to his best and actually succeed. anyways, never ever doubted him. specially since jose said that he simply wants mata to adapt. always knew mata would put in the extra efforts and show us his class. hope he continues his recent climb to good form. we play the best football when mata is on the pitch and it is essential that mata regains his top form, that is when we are the most dangerous.
