Definitely. I seriously doubt that mario loses to costa on an quality that we mainly need from our striker than age. The main aspect is link up play in which mario is way better. Finishing, workrate, headers, I don't see much difference. So yes, mario defibitwly for me

are u trying to prove my point? PL is suffering cos of many reasons. The schedule with 2 domestic cups leading to fatogue. Plus the compwtition is IMMENSE in PL. Every match is compwtitive compared to what we see in bundesliga and la liga. Add to that the number of teams in which all the talented players can go to. Their will be atleast 3/4 title challengers to 3/4 title pretenders next season. That can only be possible if and only if each and evry team can boast a couple of world class players atleast. Conpare that to la liga or bundesliga where all the talent is centralized mainly in the top 2/3 teams. I think 100% of spain's NT team players who are playing in la liga would be from the top 3. Same goes for germany. Can u say the same about PL? With the likes of shaw, lambert, lalana, baines, jagielka etc. Hence I say that the gap between top teams and bottom teams is MASSIVE in those leagues.

Thw point is not about how good the teams in la liga are but how much of a difference in level their is between say the 6th/7th placed teams to the top 2 or 3. And that gap simply keeps widening as u go further down the league.

His last year in ATM was playing second fiddle to falcao on the wing. Hence he has had One good season at the highest level as a CF. Stats can't account for the difference in league, difference in style of play and even difference in class and level. Even lukaku scored 17 goals for wba last season before being shipped out on loan to everton. That is how useless stats can be somwtimes. Etoo is officially 33, according to jose he is 35 and 39 accorsing to his ex. He probably has been our no.1 striker this season deapite being on vacation in russia for 2 years.Next year we won't be "building" a team for future but actually going all out for titles. Rvp despite him being a cunt (like costa isnot), is a phenomenol striker. He is no more injury prone than rooney who we were officially targetting. So don't see why its not an option.

I don't mind my no.1 striker playing 25-30 PL matches in a season. It definitely does not make him injury prone. Infact no more than a striker we were officially looking for ROONEY. Mandzukic has scored 20 or more goals in season 5 times in his career (thrice with zagreb and twice with bayern). He is strong in the air, physical, has a brilliant link up play, and is clinical. Moreover he has done that playing for the best team in the world (currwntly) and at the highest level. Infact in which part in costa better than Mario. I dint say bayern will sell him cheap but just that he will be cheaper than costa. Also just this year bayern sold mario gomez for 15-20mil . 20mil £ would be a great move in my opinion. If jose comes out and says, costa is our guy and he will be our no.1 striker, then I won't compain once. But so far, there is nothin to suggest we want him except for gwneral media bullshit. In the last 3 seasons, rvp has had just a coupls of injuries. He is PL proven. A phenomenol goal scorer. And with lukaku as his no. 2, I am sure we will be able to deal with his abscence for 1 month. He will be 31 and can give us about 3 years of top class football. Look at zlatan. He is a prolific goal scorer and that is what matters. Hence a very viable option especially if united are looking to offload him to accomidate mata and rooney.Mandzukic might not be a fantasticially better option but is nonetheless a BETTER option. Pep has already played muller as a false 9 despite mario scoring 20 already this season and with lewa coming in, he would want a move and might come cheap too. Better option + cheaper, u woyld nornally consider it as a no brainer. Cavani and falcao both will come for nothing under than 60mil i think. Are they worth it? Depends on how u look at it.
