dude, let me explain it to you properly then that how its a sucess. first of all, getting a trophy "however small" does not make a season a success. or wait!!! do u think united have had a better season than us since we were trophyless and united won the community shield??? HUH??? if we beat pool and city and arsenal and spurs, it changes the fact that we are in transition? sunderland beat city at stadium of light, beat united twice in the season, beat us twice in the season, so u would call them a "big team", . from the start of the season we have already lost mata, kdb, essien. we will probably let go off etoo, torres, ba, mikel, bertrand, lamps and cole. which would take the tally to 10 players changed between the start of 2 season. but somehow its not tranistional for u? we could not beat palace, villa, sunderland, wba, whu, norwich, stoke cos we have a problem in our squad known as a goal-scoring striker. moreover, any squad takes time to acclimitize itseld to a type of play. how many years were bayern useless before they came to the fore again. it has been one season where we reached the CL semi and 3rd place of PL with no striker that can score more than 10 goals. so u mean rambo has taken a red card only this year. when he took a red card last year against aston villa with our top 4 spot on the line, jose must have called him up from madrid to play more aggresively, right? -
summed up our season this match. the first half, it seemed like the players could not give a flying fuck about the shit going on. the 2nd half, hazard's inclusion gave us a massive jump and we looked like scoring but deep down somehow i knew we simply were not going to. the confidence has been dashed big time. absolutely crushed, to say the least. schwarzer - nothing much to do. i hope it was his last SB match and we will have courtois back next season. Cole - MOTM for me. gave his heart and soul. dont know what jose plans for him. right now he is playing some superb football. JT - recycled the ball well cos that was his main job. his interception when 3 on3 was massive. could have scored with that header early on but simply was not our day. GC - good performance. that block when the norwich player got 1v1 with mark was massive. iva - please for the love of god have azpi play for us at RB next season. atleast he should be our first choice. iva is a good RB. brilliant in defence but gives us NOTHING in attack. a cut back, a cross, a burst of pace to beat a man... nothing. matic - was pretty good. suprised he was the one taken off... i would have prefered cole to be taken out and going to a back 3. him and luiz on the field gave us our best time. lamps - he played? i only saw his name on the team sheet. on the pitch i dont remember seeing him. should not be getting an extension. end of salah - same as lamps. anonymous. cant remember anything worthwhile that he did willian - first half he blew hot and cold. second half, he represented the club. tried his fucking hardest only to not getting that luck or chance or that cutting edge. schurrle - good game. in the first half, it seemed he was the only one who wanted to be on the pitch. my only concern with him is that he should start being a winger too rather than an inside forward. never goes outside of the fullback to the by line. too predictable as he keeps cutting in. ba - lol. another player whose contribution to our play was next to 0. how many of these did we have on pitch today. subs - luiz - tried a 100 change of plays passes and none of them reached their intended targets. tried to find schurlle/hazard on the touchline many times but ended up being intercepted. his shot was good but his passing was horrendous. we need a proper DLP. we need a bloody MODRIC!!!! hazard - showed his class. tried everything but again no cutting edge. torres- add another to the "did nothing" list. simply cant wait for the cardiff game and the season to be officially over. END IT!!! the players definitely want it over.

this was a TRANSITIONAL season for us. funfact, we will have lost about 7-10 players that started our current season. mata and kdb were not jose players. we are building for the future and considering how much part the likes of schurrle and willian have taken to mata/kdb, it should not be a suprise. we did try to buy rooney and when he dint come, we were stuck with ba and torres. buy costa in the summer. yes i am sure you would have been the one who were crying off rooftops to sign a 24 year old striker who has had one good season (good not great) in his entire career and that too on the wings as falcao was their main man. making rambo a dirty player - so did jose tell rambo to try and break al ahmadi's leg? so since he had "apparent" fall outs with players, its a MASSIVE failure? so if we had won the carling cup, would this season have been a success? how big a success? -

so tell me HOW exactly has jose been a massive failure. please enlighten me!!! -
really?? I thought we can go top of the table if we win today.
-
Really? If u believe people on here, he did a torres yesterday.
-
But but But he cant head a ball.
-
Not at all crying. If anything then laughing. I think the everyone knows the deal with lukaku. No one wants him to be our 1st strikers But most accept that he ll do good as a 2nd striker. Anyone who has seen him would know his first needs a lot of work. His dribbling, speed, movement and shots are his strengths. But well I also thought he was good yesterday so what do I know.
-
are those quotes from a forum? one like this one? where people think hazard is god, mourinho is crap, we have parked the bus all thru the season. RM have promoted youngsters in a 24 year old nacho but azpi should not be included in the debate. and these are great things that i have read in the last 24 hours ONLY. but a very valid point "quoting" evertonians. oh well!!!
-
THANK U. i dont know what people's expectations were. did they think lukaku would dribble past the whole city defence,,, messi-esque?
-
yes he had a decent performance. i have already said in my first post, why i think so. tell me how many decent chances did everton make? the one where naismith was unable to score 1v1 with joe hart, lukaku's run to pull of a defender wide was good. his goal was good. except for that he dint get any service whatsoever. we are not discussing naismith but a striker cant do much when the player behing him loses the ball every second touch. lukaku did his job yesterday. took on players, brought players into the game, movement was good. i dont know how u r saying it was a poor performance?
-
good line up... well lets see... hoping for a good performance... come on chelsea!!!!
-
dont know what match you watched dude. he looked anything but indecisive. he lost the ball 4 times and u are telling me naismith dint lose the ball once? infact i am not even sure what u wrote there. i remember everton players losing the ball in a very very poor position. naismith was HORRENDOUS. he was the one who lost the ball on almost every 3rd touch. even in the "english football thread" that was being said. are u sure u dint confude lukaku and naismith yesterday. cos that the only way i can accept what u have just said. one thing i do agree is he barely influenced the game. but it was not his fault. even if u see where the ball was when the ref blew his whistle u will know what i am talking about. those guys were simply and stupidly passing the ball among themselves, specially baines, naismith rather than putting the ball forward. after he scored the goal, he barely got any service whatsoever. and before that, i think he was pretty good.
-
norwich cant just "hang in there". they have to go for a win which plays into our hands... would be fun to watch though.
-
hope he puts in s couple of brilliant performances and simply does not let qphahaha get into the bloody playoff final.
-
sell him. better for him and us.
-
very much. we need to win both our games while pool and city need to lose one each.
-
no he just sounds like an idiot and a shit-stirrer.
-
so has it come down to THIS. posting articles written by micheal owen? whats next? jamie redknapp articles and quotes!!!!
-
dude, even if he scores a hat-trick. and then after the 3rd goal, he runs to jose and hugs him. people will STILL find a way to critisize one or another. specially some shit-stirrers like the poster a couple of posts above you who have no better job than to write posts which gets everyone riled up.
-
but i love this.. mourinho almost DESTROYES luiz's career by playing him for excess of 2600 minutes in the season. some people are cunts,,, absolute stupid cunts.
-
40mil and we ll talk. luiz fits the barca/bayern (or rather pep's) philosophy of a ball playing defender perfectly. he would be a good fit for teams who dont care how many goals they let in as far as they can outscore the other team. we dont have that. we have struggle coming from a goal down at the bridge. and with both barca and bayern interested (if true), we should be able to rip them off specially barca since they anyways love to overpay for brazilians...
