i understand what u r saying but THIS transfer will be a poor one. we have a player like paulinho in ramires. agreed that rambo has had a terrible season but so has paulinho. buying him does not make sense to me. also, if rakitic is idiotic enough to go to RM despite them having maria, modric, alonso, illaramendi, isco, casemiro then well he deserves to rot on the bench. and even then we have good enough options like lars bender to fall upon. point being paulinho is not starter material or no more than rambo. he is not a player who the manager would be looking forward to bring on to change the game at 0-0/1-1 and nor is he a player who you would bring on in a 1-0,2-1 lead to close the game. hence what would be his role? i would rather want mikel as a squad player than buy him for some ridiculous fee that spurs would charge.
