I know he is shit and has major self confident issues but at that present game, neither of the strikers played well. What would have you done instead of Torres when Rio pushed him?

You can't emulate a 100kg bench press with push ups, you'd need an expensive backpack/equipment to handle all the weights PLUS it is very bad for your lower back and shoulders, you will most probably develop arthritis and/or twist your wrist, possibly breaking it and being not able to do a push up for the rest of your life. I recently bought a set of new dumbells. They weighed 20kgs (44lbs) each and I had brought a backpack to make it easier to carry home. I ended up needing to carry them with hands while they were still in a package. My lower back and forearms along with lower biceps were numb afterwards. Point being, eventhough it was a backpack with good durability, when I tried to lift it up with 20kgs inside, the stitches started to become undone. Edit: All depends on goals. It seems you like to be more toned, lean but not so much strong/muscular. In that case your scenario works wonders and also it would be better for beginners to start with bodyweight exercises to get your joints, body, nervous system ready for regular exercise - everything in moderation.   9. Aiming for along these lines, will take me a year or two. Thing is, training is part of lifestyle so I intend to do this aslong as I can without putting more important aspects of life aside so in a sense I hope the results come gradually but slow so I get to push myself further without becoming a monster. Because already now I'm getting a lot of attention for my physique if I wear a t-shirt. I generally don't like being center of attention but this is a positive one and boosts confidence a lot.   10. It's called side-effect of steroids. The truth is, if you want abs, you can get them if you work hard enough with diet etc - comes down to bodytype and preferences. But i definitely know where Vincent is coming from, genes do influence the way you develop, be it mentally, physically.
  11. A great sub and he did change the game, very good with the ball. Only downside with Mikel is that he is absolutely no threat to the goal, he rarely tries and that takes one dimension out of his game - noone marks him in the edge of the box leaving more opponents in the box to mark the likes of Mata, Hazard etc.
  12. What should Torres have done? He can't go fighting with Rio on the pitch and that was Ferdinand's aim - to get a rest for their players from constant defending and break up our tempo. Stop living in a dream, wake the fuck up. Torres was no worse than Ba who had his worst game for us, might be because of Utd marking him closely but doesn't change the fact.
  13. What a game, a thriller to be honest. Second half was great, I enjoyed it very much - always something going on, rarely a dull passing game in the middle. Many might not want to admit but Rafa subs were great, every single one of them brought something to our game, except Torres against Ba - both of them were very isolated but Ba seemed to work harder in defending. Very unlucky to concede the soft goals we did and also wondersave by De Gea after Mata brilliantly brought down the ball and wrong footed the defender, shame really. Replay at Bridge, with a positive and supportive atmosphere I can see us snatching it. Keep the faith.
  14. Where are the legends now? They should be the glue that binds the team together and makes players work for eachother. Club's contract policy is -in hindsight- very accurate. Off with the old, in with hungry playersm who don't need or expect a ego massage every game they play.
  15. In a sense you're right, everyone has abs, just that it's hidden under fat. Though, the aim for doing abs is to strengthen your core and have a proper posture, sculpting them is a bonus!

  17. That's a good idea but use it if you feel that your triceps alone are holding you back from benching more. It's one of many ways to get over plateaus!
  18. Bought 20kg (44lbs) dumbells to train more effectively at home on shoulder day etc. Can't wait to try them out tomorrow. My usual chest-tricep day (only day I go to gym, except a few leg workouts): - Bench press: 4x 6-8 (using 85kgs) - Incline bench press: 3x10 (using 70 kgs, 50kgs for super set/ warmup) - Body weight dips: 4x10 - Tricep pulldowns 4x10 - Chest flies: 3x10 + super set it with diamond push ups Has worked great so far, increasing the weights constantly to push myself. Max bench has gone from 60kgs to 100kgs in 3months. So a steady 10kgs a month pace, ofc it will drop down remarkably later on but aiming for 120kgs by summer for 1 rep max - would be 1,5x my body weight. After that I'll maintain, don't want to get the body-builder physique. Edit: Dumps gave very good advice with work out max lasting 45-60min etc.
  19. You can't win a partizan war, Soviet Union, USA, NATO have all failed miserably in Afghanistan, they brought some sort of stability but never can they win this. Next World War will take place near N-Korea or Iran. Depending if the young and inexperienced Kim Jong-un will be foolish enough to press the red button or not, same goes for Ahmedinejad if he pursues to threaten and rich uranium in a tempo, which would show they are after a nuclear weapon not energy resource.

I'm all for foreigners who come and contribute to the community but my worry is that they turn up and start demanding just like they did in France, wanting autonomy in an independent country without learning the language, having prper education or qualification to do anything, live off subsidies etc. That's my concern. Plus wherever you go, you will always be treated as a foreigner. I guess that's why there's the saying: there's no place like home.
  21. Woah, almost every party seems to be more of a left wing one. For the past 10 years, only 2 parties have actually ruled, other parties having a minor role. One is a right wing one, other a more pro-russia left wing. Though, there has been a bit of a change in form of Social Democrats (I vote for them) bursting onto the scene. They possess fair solutions to working class, decrease corporations' and companies' bonuses. Basically something that has worked wonders in Northen countries and in Denmark looking at the salaries, health care etc. Atm we just went through a strike by teachers, doctors and almost also pilots, because of low wages and mental working hours. One down fall I can think of is that IF SDE can get the power and form Estonia into a welfare country - how will we stop the immigrants coming in?

Rmpr, I'm still a bit stunned how I always come off as arrogant or offended, because I'm not a person to hold a grudge or take offense that easily, must be that you cant show real emotions through a screen. So there is nothing to talk about here. For sure, if I still got to contribute to this thread alongside your posts then we can continue doing so in a grown up way as you suggested, cant say though that it got out of hand in any given time.

Did I had to be deported to Siberia for the rest of my life, beaten half deaf, shot by the soldiers to make sense? We have a very deep wound from that era as a nation, everyone has seen their loved ones being taken away from them or punished in a very cruel way for nothing, that's why I'm a bit sceptical about the knowledge some of us here are trying to spread, just because 'I read it from my history book'. You don't see me trying to justify to a jew why Nazi Germany is better than Soviet Russia. It comes down to morals and respect. So in a sense, some things are best meant to be unsaid, even if you are about to explode from definitions and termins
