  1. Peppen mate, can you tell me which world view party rules in Denmark atm? Because the policies you mentioned seem right and fair, something -in an ideal world- we could implement in Estonia.
  2. Can't say I have been sensitive any way but it is rather funny for me to listen to a teenager talking about different regimes when my country was occupied by an occupant practicing communism - a form of socialism. Or take a lecture from a person about poverty, who types through his iPhone/iPad and travels continents to see a football match. Said everything I've got to say, take care.
  3. That's right. Although most of the world only remembers Nazi Germany and their holocaust as the only pure evil. Truth is, when Estonia was occupied by Nazi Germany and Soviet Union, the people here weren't afraid of the Germans, though we ran to forests when the Red Army came. That's the difference between the two regimes.
  4. You get agitated very fast and need to spit out something venomous, does it really have to be this way? Maybe there's a reason you might take this the way you are?
  5. There are exceptions but rule of the thumb is that rich people do live in a different world to others, there's no denying.
  6. Soviet Union was 100% socialism. I read a good example of its 'productivity' a while back: let's say you start to grade tests in a way socialism works. It would mean that every person gets the same grade, regardless if he or she has worked enough for it. People who study a lot will get a lesser grade of which they'd deserve and the ones who don't put in the work will reap the rewards. Eventually the smart ones will not give a fuck and will not study, the rest will obviously expect the latter to carry them. All in all they will all get an F, because that's where this kind of not caring will take you. One more thing about Soviet Union and its way of ruling. In Estonia we had to live in poverty unless you openly asslicked the ruling(and only) party. There was nothing on the shelves to buy and even the slightest of luxuries you can think today were in deficit. Plus the distortion of history and world views. Nothing came in, nothing came out. It was a brainwash.
  7. Bushman is right, socialism doesn't work in practice. People will not work hard enough and the overall productivity will go down resulting in poverty for the government and eventually people.
  8. Which managers are we talking about? If we are thinking about the same men then it isn't as one sided you make out of it.
  9. The scoreline could have been a bit flattering but to be fair, I am in a bit of a slump with my team. Need to have a serious look at it after this season and come back strong.
  10. Put yourself in his position, he is a legend in the club and he wants it to stay that way and there's only way to do that - write yourself in the history books. Don't be naive mate.
  11. To be fair, Lampard is all about trying to score goals this season. He has so little assists to his name this season and that's something that screams about his style of play. He might deny it, but he is focused on the record to sign out with glory. Can't blame him for that but can blame him for putting himself first before the team.
  12. The reason why Soviet Union lost so many men during any war in their history is due to their tactics. A life of a human being cost/costs nothing in Soviet Union/Russia. They used to have commissars who shot anyone deserting so the soldiers had two choices: to die in the battle or get shot by the officers. One great example would be the battle of Stalingrad, the final assault by the Soviet Union was out of desperation, they only held a few strips of the city's territory near the river Volga and Stalin didn't want to lose a town with HIS name so he ordered a full scale assault on the last 200 000 Germans, who were left to die there by delusional Hitler.
  13. Exactly. How many actually still remember that Soviet Union switched sides during WW II? I know Nazi Germany attacked them but they also made peace with the allies.
  14. I might have masked my first comment a bit too much. Pablo Escobar was in an illegal business but used his fortune to help people in poverty. In return he gained loyal followers, extra ears and eyes so to say to keep him safe and aware of his surroundings. That's what Chavez did, supported the poorer people and gained their admiration. The difference between them two is that one of them was an official and legal authority in form of President and the other was a outlaw who fought against Colombian government and law enforcements. I wasn't trying to say one is better than the other. Just that their motives and aims were comparable and many characteristic similarities could be drawn.
  15. Legal as in official authority. Escobar was a drug lord, Chavez was President of Venezuela.
  16. RIP. Regardless of his views etc he was Pablo Escobar of Venezuela, only with legal authority.
  17. Drawed X rated.. this season has been poor for me in terms of getting play time for players, plus the 2 earlier seasons have fucked me beyond belief with development. Hoping for a miracle in the cup.
  18. Looks like a polo shirt. I really liked the past 2 seasons home shirts - one with the red collar and the other with long white stripes on the shoulders. I've got a 2009/10 shirt from the EPL win, ugly thing but has sentimental value.
  19. There was a quote for this: If you drive over a road crossing and close your eyes, will you be of fault if you run someone over? For me it was orange card, maybe yellow, maybe red but the ref chose the last one - no complaints.
  20. A pleasing result, good luck Mourinho and co. I mean Manutd are too far away to catch them anyway in the league, only thing is our game against them in the cup will be more fierce now. Was Nani's foul a red? Never. Was Rafaels handball a penalty? Yes, possibly a card aswell. Fair result. What a goal by Modric, blast from the past in such an awkward angle.
  21. Can't see any of them even compare to The only place to be. He says things that won't make him popular but he speaks his mind, be it a bitter truth.
  22. If someone has kids with the intention of them making their parents rich in the future, then that's just immoral. The parents have lived a poor life and have made nothing out of THEMSELVES and expect the child to carry them. Only cowards to that, who are afraid of hardship and lack determination and willingness to work hard for their own dreams and success.
