  1. so you have said for the 3rd time in the space of 45 minutes...
  2. Its hilarious to come on here when we are losing and laugh at certain members saying how virtually every player should be sold
  3. We just doubled the number of shots we have had!!!!!
  4. The manner that the players have gone about this match is disgusting. little or no pressure on Atletico players- they were allowed to travel unchallenged from their own penalty area to ours for their 3rd goal and even on the edge of our box nobody made a challenge. Disgraceful from the players
  5. we should sell cap to a Real Madrid forum only joking cap I love you really
  6. your English is very, very good mate, welcome to TalkChelsea. I think it could be a very interesting 2 games between us. Your team is a lot stronger than when we last played you and your new stadium is lovely by the way. Lucio and Chiellini will be difficult to get past, Marchisio and Pirlo are very good midfielders and Giovinco and Vucinic look like quality players. We will have to play very well to beat you
  7. but it wouldn't be as fun as going the length of the country on a weekday night to see us play Carlisle
  8. and its a proper ground for a cold, wet, windy League Cup game
  9. Pause at 0:45 for a clip of the top of my head just in front of that woman
  10. The messaging icon is gone from the toolbar thing with your username, notifications and sign out area for me. It went when I was 'banned' or whatever happened and did not come back
  11. These 'agents' are about as reliable as a chav doing a lie detector test on Jeremy Kyle
  12. Schalke, Braga and Copenhagen would be OK for me because all would be quite good away days and would be good matches without being too difficult for the games we have the following weekend. And we would avoid a fight with some Celtic fans
  13. yes get in there my Getafe boys! Valera's goal was an absolute beauty! When I went on a school trip to Madrid and the language teacher asked me which Spanish team I supported and I said Getafe she just laughed at me (she was a Real Madrid fan) WELL WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?!?
  14. As us boys are feeling a little left out by Kez and francozola's posts about how handsome Azpilicueta and Hazard are, here is a picture of Eva:
  15. Welcome to TC! #1-Do you worry about having Torres as your main striker with little cover? Should Drogba have been offered the contact he wanted? Yes very much so. He has looked poor like he did when he signed for us which is a shame because he was starting to improve towards the back end of last season. People moaned about the service he was getting but we have signed players that do give better service and he has still looked poor. Sturridge definitely has the potential to be a good striker but he seems to play for himself far too much. Apart from those two we don't have a recognised first team striker which is worrying considering that we could have a lot of games this season with the Club World Cup as well. To be honest I think we let Drogba go at the right time and it was lovely for him to end his career with us the way he did in Munich. Last season he only seemed to produce something special in the bigger games and didn't really perform in the smaller ones. #2-What do you make of all the young, talented Attacking Midfielders you have all vying for 3 places in the team? Does it worry you that this may lead to some disharmony between those who miss out and the manager? Its great to have them because youth and creative midfielders have been something we have been missing for a while. Of course there will be competition for places but hopefully they will be professional enough to get on with it and accept if Di Matteo drops them for a game. They will hopefully all get a good amount of playing time through the season though and the older players seem to have more respect for Di Matteo than they did for Villas-Boas which will help the harmony of the squad. #3-If you were to have a joint NUFC / Chelsea team, which Newcastle players (if any) would you pick over your first teamers? There would be plenty because you had some outstanding players. Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse I would take any day over our Torres and Tiote would have to be in there as well. He has to be the best holding midfielder in the league at the moment. Ben Arfa and Cabaye would also have to be in the mix, perhaps with Hazard or Mata in midfield. #4-Do you think Di Matteo has bought responsibly, or has he been focusing too much on 'attractive' players? In other words, would you rather have seen some of the £50+m spent on Oscar, Hazard etc. bring in some replacements/back-ups for John Terry or Bosingwa? I don't know how much influence the manager really gets with regard to signings at Chelsea what with Abramovich being the owner. However, we have got a bit of both with our signings this Summer. Azpilicueta has replaced Bosingwa and Moses will hopefully be joining soon but we have also gone for some marquee signings which we needed in midfield really because last season we were over-reliant on Mata for any creativity. Apart from a striker I think we have decent cover for all positions now and some of that has been done by spending a lot of money and other times it hasn't. #5-Which Newcastle player are you most fearful of and why? Papiss Cisse- those goals still give me nightmares. Apart from him you have an excellent midfield that can create a lot of chances for Ba and Cisse so we will have to be very wary of the threat that Cabaye, Tiote, and Ben Arfa pose. #6-Do you think Di Matteo will take Chelsea to the next level (I.e. challenging for the title with the Manchester clubs)? He has the advantage of having the Terry's and Lampard's behind him as a former player but I think we may need another season before we can challenge the Manchester clubs. There are lots of new players who need time to gel. Of course there is always the threat that a poor run of results will see Abramovich get rid of him and he may not be given the chance next season should the club go after Guardiola.
  16. Can we not start Torres for this game. 2 Premier League games this season and he has been extremely poor. Why are we continually letting him off the hook because we paid £50m for him? He is living off the name on the back of his shirt. So what if he scored against Reading he was still poor and anyone could have scored that. I can't say I'm Sturridge's biggest fan but at least he has a desire to do his best in every game and will not sulk on the halfway line when he does not have the ball. The myth about service is a load of rubbish IMO. Mata gave him plenty of service last season and Hazard and Mata are giving him service this season. If you look at the Reading game he got the ball passed to him and he either didn't try to control it properly or it just bounced off him Cech Azpilicueta* Luiz Terry Cole Mikel Lampard Hazard Mata Bertrand Sturridge
  17. I thought he was very, very good considering he is 20 years old and had only played about 15 minutes of Premier League football beforehand. He certainly has an eye for a pass and is very quick. Really looked the part when he came on and seemed to be linking up very well with Hazard and Mata. Obviously he will need to bulk up a bit but he is only 20 and he has time to do that but overall he was really good. The Brazilian league is completely different but he adapted to English football quickly yesterday.
  18. Awwww Alex how lovely of you Thats awkward because I sent an email to Jim a few days ago apologising for my recent conduct to see if there was a reason that I was banned. He didn't reply- I assume he was left a bit confused
  19. Really satisfying performer overall. Hazard was exceptional and ease the creative workload on Mata. Oscar showed flashes of brilliance and was great in his second game as a premier league player. Also those dugouts are sexy as hell and we now have a video to go with The liquidator!
